Not as good as it used to be”

This used to be a good place when I first stayed here. However, it is not maintained well. The telephone was not working. The door of the shower stall could not be closed.

Good Option”

Trace Suites has very good facilities (pool and gym) and well-kept and spacious rooms for 3 persons. I booked there because of the affordable cost and location (near UP Los Banos, center). It's a very good option for travelers who wish to visit Los Banos. It has a safe and well-guarded vicinity and car parking too. My only comment for improvement is its food at the cafe. Food is pricey but the ingredients used for our ordered meals were not that fresh. We ordered breakfast lucban longganisa and grilled tuna meals. Garlic rice and hot beverages were good but the longganisa had an after taste and I felt lip itchiness after eating the grilled tuna. Over all, I rate my stay at Trace Suites as very good. I will consider it for next visit in Los Banos.

When we arrived at the hotel the comfort room was not cleaned. There were debris on the floor. The room still had some strands of hair. And there was no available person to clean the room. The receptionist also smells like they just smoked cigarettes. And the front desk were not friendly.

Not the same as my first stay”

When I first stayed here a year ago, it was wonderful. Now, it is very bad. Let me start with the bathroom. The showerhead, which is supposed to be adjustable, cannot be adjusted anymore because of rust. For the same reason, the door of the shower stall cannot be moved. We were not provided with toiletries until I called up the front desk. The room is not sealed tight, so we can hear the piped-in music in the hallway. The mini-refrigerator's door badly needs new rubber sidings. Since air is going in, there is water leaking. There is a water kettle in the room, but the plug is not compatible with the wall socket. No adapter is provided. Finally, in this day and age when the Internet has become a necessity, there is no Wi-Fi in the rooms.

Isolated and Piano playing all night”

The employees are nice, the place is clean but isolated. We ended up paying 300 peso for apparently a private 5mn jeepny ride we did not ask for as they are smiley and accommodating but then show you the bill. The food price is also way too excessive. Finally, the most annoying thing was that we went to sleep to be somewhat woken by a piano music of ambiance that lasted all night. Could have got up but you know how it is when you are tired, you rather have a pillow on your ears. Yet, helped little.
