we met Brian, a retiree from Seattle, who was running the place w/ his wife, Grace. they were gracious hosts & the staff were courteous. they have just opened very recently, late 2018/early 2019, so pls expect the usual birth pains of running a new bnb. the important thing is they listen to feedback & respond to it. the place has improved compared to previous reviews. there are now lanterns lighting the alley from Coffee Tale Restobar on White Beach up to about a third of the way to Villa Guada. there are towels, a roll of toilet paper, & free brewed coffee in the g/f common kitchenette every morning (clean as you go pls). water pressure, a/c, mini cable tv, & beds were ok. roller bags aren't ideal, be prepared to carry them as needed because of the pathway, but this place is perfect for budget backpackers or those wanting quiet nights in Puerto Galera.

Not fair to all of their guests. Just because we're local tourists, and they also have foreign tourists, they halted us from using the common kitchen for cooking. CR has no ventilation. WE BOOKED A GRAND TRIPLE ROOM, A DISCOUNTED GRAND TRIPLE ROOM AND YET THEY GAVE US A ROOM WITH TWO QUEEN SIZE BEDS AND A QUEEN SIZE MATTRESS ON THE FLOOR! There were water interruptions which we weren't informed ahead. Totally not suggesting to my friends.

The simplest option for a few days near White Beach”
In your room you have only bed with fan, window with street view. No WiFi. Towel - 100 pesos. In the morning you could drink free coffee. 7 min to the White Beach. 5 min to the main road with shops and restaurants.

Place was 20min walk away from White Beach and you had to walk through dark and narrow alleyways. Not safe especially during the night. They didnt provide toiletries or towels. Listed as Agoda Home but no spoon, just a fork. Host wasnt readily available and takes a while to respond to texts. Place had mosquitoes, my baby went home with lots of insect bites. I booked this at the last minute and thought I was getting a good deal. Lesson learned: save yourself the stress and spend money on better accomodation.

It is very unfortunate that we did not match your expectations. Thank you for bringing the issue to our attention, this leaves a room for improvements. Apologies for the lack of communication & misunderstanding. Your reservation was 'room only' it does not include toiletries & towels. We pride ourselves as one of few accommodations that provide a clean air conditioned room for a very affordable price following the new trend of limited service brand. We charge extra for towel use, but we were happy to provide you the towel for free. We focus more on thoughtful extras like the complimentary breakfast that was given to you. We are extremely alarmed by your statement regarding your baby being bitten by mosquitoes. We have not had any record of such for years, but as always with you can never be too careful. Rest assured we will address the issue for our future guests. However, to not mislead others we must stress that we are not '20' mins walk away to the water, only 3-5 mins.

Hard to find, unfriendly disrespectful staff, the room pictures is a joke, the room is hot, no air, cant open the windows without people can get easily inside, the bathroom is bad, no water pressure, no water in the sink, no food or anything near, they offer hot !glass! Of water for FREAKING 20 pesos, no one is there to welcome you, we had to kinda break in after shouting outside for people. We've been all around the world, and most time we pay wayyyyyy less and get much much more. Thank for nothing. Recommended for people with a lot of money and no brain. / 這間真的很爛，除了跟圖片完全不一樣之外，住在裡面的人非常詭異，除了沒有人可以check in之外，所有你看到的一切都要外加錢，像是一杯熱水要加20披索！？態度差，房間不乾淨，他們的床單看就知道完全沒有換過，浴室到處都生鏽，水龍頭沒有水... 如果你想要來這找罪受，他們會非常歡迎，態度絕對讓你滿意。 （對了，這間離沙灘超級遠，如果是為了要來享受沙灘千萬不要來）

Hello Yun, thank you for your constructive comments. Since we are a budget accommodation, we provide only the most basic amenities. If you are willing to pay more, might we suggest booking our AC Rooms in our main building. We are sorry to hear that we did not meet your expectations of our budget room. With regard to the hot water, we heat water using microwave, please understand the expense it'll incur. Though we were happy to offer you complimentary coffee.
