Great value for money”
Roger's place is a sanctuary, far from the crowd of Boracay but close enough to enjoy the White Beach. If you're adventurous I would recommend this place, you can experience being a "back rider" of a motorcycle, see the beautiful hills of Boracay, or just relax at their rooftop. Staff (Roger and Dietmar) are very friendly, very accommodating, making sure that their guest are comfortable and would have everything they would need. They have a garden as well for you to enjoy nature. Room is very pristine and well kept, a definite 5 star in that aspect. The only downer that I've experience during my stay is that the wifi signal is not that strong in my room (room 2), but other than that everything else is perfect.

peaceful, homey and budget friendly”
It was my first time to travel solo and my stay at Roger's Place was incredibly great. I am the type of person that usually gets bored and will go to one place to another. I was surprised that I stayed almost all day long (for 5 days) in my comfortable and clean room. Great conversation with Roger and Mar too. Mar, the word "uneducated" makes me laugh still and will surely remind me of you everytime I hear the word. Haha. It felt that you just wanna stay with them because of lots of interesting topics to talk about. Roger is really best in history and is an ice breaker. The price I paid for is worth it and the owners even exceeded my expectations. Thanks Roger and Mar. i will definitely see you again. Best of luck for your guesthouse there. One day it will become spectacular, just be patient. Great things will surely come along your way.

Real Vacation”
I'm normally a solo traveler and I always have my backpack with me. I looked for a place that is safe and budget friendly, and i found the best deal in this guesthouse. Besides the fact that it is run by friendly management, you also are warmly welcomed by the owners themselves. I stayed with the Hotel for 3 nights and I was very satisfied with the service that they provided. I would like to say that not only this hotel will make you feel homey but also will make you feel like you're a family. Roger and Mar has been very welcoming and very interesting to talk with especially getting into serious convo with a 21 y.o guest lol. but what I like is that you won't see any discrimination nor judgement with the couple very open minded and understanding. Location - its a good 15 min walk to white beach, what i like about it is that i get to see the different side of the island, not just the beach alone but the what the locals do on a daily basis. you get to see how dynamic the environment is and get to be familiarize with the location, besides that if you really want to have a REAL vacation, stepping out from your comfort zone will give you advantages. Its a good exercise too. Staff -Such wonderful people, i did not just know these guys casually but i made friends. Facilities -Though its only a fan (at the moment), its been very comfortable for the days I've stayed in the hotel. I mean God you're on vacation, you probably are wandering most of the time so you don't need to have air-conditioned room. But Roger and Mar had bought already units that are ready to install so we'll get air-con and hot water soon. I really like the quietness of the place and you get to be nude on the rooftop! I recommend this place 10/10 -Archie

Awesome Experience”
We stayed at Roger's place for a short vacation and we are grateful we did so. The hosts are very hospitable. Roger even went the extra mile by giving us a tour of places we wanted to go to. Roger and Dietmar are friendly and accommodating. The room is very pleasantly decorated and set up. We'll definitely book again on our next trip back to Boracay.

The guesthouse was really nice and clean. Roger and Dietmar were very friendly. The place is in the quiet side of the island but is just a tricycle ride to the beach area. Try Roger's fried rice. It's something I will always remember. Highly recommended.

the inner peace of boracay”
i love this place! me and my friend got a good time sleeping as thier bed is very comfy after whole night partying. we go no issue with the transportation as there are a lot of motorcycles available 24hrs. roger is so fabulous as he entertained as very well. i learned new things about boracay, its people, the economy, money, and how to travel as a gay guy. cheers for that! the roof top - my fave spot as there is a lot of green leaves, open spot for the sun to go tan, fresh air and beautiful view of the island.

Like staying with friends”
We thororoughly enjoyed our stay at Roger's Place. And after 11 days, it did feel like we'd made new friends with the hosts. Dietmar says that AC is coming soon - it will be great when that's added. Location is a bit tricky to find to start with, so using the pick up service offered by the hosts (for a small fee) is well worth it, especially if you are arriving after dark. We've already reserved our place at roger's for next year. Swimming pool would be nice by then, thanks guys! ;) Skott & Tim

Perfect for gay men”
I enjoyed very much my stay with Roger & Dietmar in their small gay guesthouse. Quiet location but with a tricycle in a few minutes in the center of White Beach. Fan and windbreaze cooled room with minibar at cheap prices! Breakfast a la carte very affordable. Roger and Dietmar do the utmost to feel comfortable and secure! Everything is (typical german) clean!

Rogers place was a very pleasant stay. Very clean. Good bed and bedding . Although a small operation Roger and his partner Wolfgang run it very professional. Excellent service, rooms equipped with fully stocked fridges, good internet connection and great breakfast. A real plus is the rooftop patio with a shower and full privacy for nude sunbathing. Something hard to find on Boracay or anywhere else in the Philippines . On my next trip to Boracay I will definitely stay at Rogers again.

An extra-special stay ”
Mar and Roger facilitated an excellent stay for me during a period without electricity due to a cyclone that had passed through. They went out of their way to offer 5-star service despite the challenges. I would recommend their guesthouse to anyone, be it for a short or long term stay. You will love this place! Both hosts are wonderfully friendly and helpful. I hope to stay here again in the future!

Beautiful guesthouse. Has only 3 rooms. Located in a quiet area, a 15-minute walk from the beach. The rooftop has one of the best views of the island. Simple, but very tasty breakfasts, which Mar cooked for me every morning ❤ The only drawback for me was the poor sound insulation of the room. But the guys are very caring, so the Place has a positive energy and wonderful atmosphere.

Man(n) fühlt sich sehr wohl bei den Beiden. Auch die Katzen heissen einen willkommen.Das Zimmer war groß und sauber.Die Lage ist etwas ausserhalb, aber mit den vielen Bikes günstig zu erreichen.Das Frühstück hab ich jeden tag genossen.Vielen Dank und viel Glück weiterhin.

Das sehr hilfsbereite Gastgeberpaar (Philippino/Deutsch) hat mich gleich bei meiner Ankunft phantastisch über die "Internas" von Borakaz aufgeklärt. Unkompliziert war die Nutzung der Küche, die Gäste können entweder zwischen verschiedenen angebotenen Frühstücken wählen, oder sich selbst etwas zubereiten. Das Zimmer wurde täglich blitzsauber (wie die ganze Einrichtung) gereinigt. Jeder findet in Borakay sein Soulmate in einer der vielen Bars für die Nacht wenn ewünscht (bezahlt und/oder gegen dinner und ein paar Drinks. Dein Gast kann hier über Nacht bleiben. Über eines war ich traurig: die FKK-Sonnen- (Mondschein-) terrasse war nicht geöffnet, da wegen Off-Season keine weiteren Gäste dort waren.
