What a Gem”
I have been reviewing hotels and resorts in the Philippines for 9 years and I believe that this resort is about as good as it gets. The attentive staff here wear roman toga style attire, and I must say they are all very well trained. We enjoyed the Spa and can i recommend Joy for her massage skills. I would like to name Rey and Gary as true Gladiators, and a huge thank you to Nina for service with a smile. The rooms are very well appointed. Pool access is a must, and there is the safety of a good pool lifeguard in attendance. Breakfast / Meal selection takes a while because there are many delicious meals and drinks to be had. The resort grounds boast cleanliness and a very large pool / kids pool facilities. There is a free hourly shuttle to the beach and free water dispensers too. What more could we ask for ? Well done guys. We rate this resort 9.8 out of 10. We will return.....

Thank you to the staff of Roman Empire for making our stay a memorable one. This place is highly recommended we definitely got our money's worth👍We got an excellent view from our room balcony overlooking the pool. The place is clean and well kept. Great staff at their restaurant who help me in surprising my husband and singing him a birthday song when they delivered the food to our room. They really went beyond expectation👏 Thank you so much!

Its a great deal! The vicinity is quiet and relaxing..the room is very clean, they clean it everyday and replace the towel.. the pool is well maintain.. and they serves good food! Theres a dancing fountain at night that makes swimming memorable.. All in all superb! Thank u for making our stay very comfortable 😀

Good points: 1. Welcome drink was refreshing, it was real fruit juice not just a flavored drink. 2. Massage was equally surprisingly great, it was not done in a hurry even if it was just complimentary. 3. Spotlessly clean rooms. Shower and faucet run on a timer (automatic) to save water but it was completely alright. 4. AC turns off automatically if the veranda door is left open, which makes sense, saves on electricity 5. Good quality shampoo and conditioner, same with the bath gel. They come in big bottles with pump, again saving the mother eatth😊 6. Breakfast buffet changes a bit daily and with enough and on time refills. It would be nicer if some other fruits will be offered. (had same for 3 mornings) 7. Close to the airport. Efficient airport transfers. Not really Bad point, but can be beefed up: Transportation from hotel to Alona Beach (where the life and noise are) be on every 30mins or 45mins interval instead of every hour. All in all it was a nearly perfect stay! C U again

pls is very friendly for children and staff is all time helpful. rooms are specious and very clean. they clean daily. we use quit often their free shuttle going to alona and airport. Since they are protecting the environment, you will enjoy their set-up in rooms as well as in restaurant (no unnecessary use of plastic and waste of water). We definitely come again

Very close to the airport and to Alona. The hotel bus shuttle was perfect to go to Alona anytime. Very nice room with directly access to the big pool to swim. They offered a great breakfast in the hotel restaurant, it was included in the rate. All was very clean and friendly...

Swimming pool in front of your room”
First, the welcome drink is awesome! Normally hotels welcome drink are just simple glass of drink, but this hotel, is Mango Shake! So yummy. They also provide complimentary 20mins free massage where the place is so clam and quiet, and the masseuese is very professional. The hotel also have free shuttle to alona beach every hour, which is very convenient. If you plan to come philipines, you dont need to book tour online, the hotels will have tour packages at reasonable price (maybe cheaper than online ones).

Fantastic!!!”
Overall a fantastic hotel- from the clean rooms to the amazing pool to the helpful staff to great massages and nice restaurant, it was a perfect stay. Free shuttles hourly to Alona Beach and free shuttles to the airport. Only stayed 1 night but could of spent a week!! Definitely will go back!

Nice place to stay”
The place is 5-10mins away from the Bohol-Panglao Intl Airport. Rooms are clean with complete set of toiletries. Pools are great for family. Buffet breakfast is good. Hotel offers free shuttle service to Alona Beach and Airport Transfer. Staff are very accommodating.

Relaxing Stay”
The ambiance is so nice. I love how comfy the bed is, my husband and I don't even want to leave the bed and just sleep all day. I appreciate that the staff catered to all our requests. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. The free shuttle is also good, I hope they could also add free shuttle to White Beach and not just Alona. Overall our stay is by far the best! Will definitely recommend this place to friends and families.

Exceptional”
Situated near the airport ~ just hail a trike (This is way cheaper than getting a taxi and ask first about the price before riding one, NEGOTIATE. They tend to give high prices. LOL.) and tell the driver to drop you off at Roman Empire. The hotel was really really nice. Our room was big and clean ~ all toiletries provided. Super many IG worthy places to take your photos. The pool was so nice ~ they have this fountain thingy at night which was really pretty. Haha. They also offer free service to and from Alona you just have to book it in advance. Our room has no free breakfast but no worries they offer breakfast buffet for 300/ head. :)

CLEAN & FRIENDLY STAFF”
The staff is very friendly and jolly. Ang ganda ng resort parang pang 5 star. Our room is direct to the pool. May tagabantay talaga na nga pool guard. We had a free 20 minutes massage too. The food is superb. I will really recommend Roman Empire. Ang mismong may-ari is in the area lng. Friendly rin. Will definitely go back to the resort. 🥂💦♥️

Great place, fantastic pool”
Room - we got a pool access room on the first floor and loved it. Nothing better than just walking out of your room, onto the small patio and directly into the water. The pool is HUGE and has 3 different levels, we loved it. The shower in the room has a 30 second timer and isn't very hot, but honestly I got used to it quickly and it didn't bother me. Staff - always friendly and helpful Restaurant - we only ate breakfast once, and it was just ok. The omelette station was nice, but the rest of the food in the buffet was not amazing. We had dinner here one night, and it was just ok, not great. Better to go into town and eat in my opinion. Facilities - the massage clinic they have is AWESOME. Free 20 minute massage was great, and we loved it so much my g/f and I booked full massages for the next day and loved them. Location - a bit far from Alona Beach, but they have a shuttle, or you can get a tricycle taxi for pretty cheap and be there in like 5 minutes.

Great location with free shuttle bus every hour to Alona beach. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. We had a pool access room but if you’re someone that likes a bit more privacy I suggest the balcony rooms as people can sit right out front of your room in the pool. Overall would recommend this hotel and will definitely come back. Thanks!

Great Place”
This is the place!!! We came here for 3 days and stayed for 10. The rooms are top notch. The service from the staff is exceptional. The beds are so very very comfortable. Just be careful not to stain the towels or the bedsheets. They do charge if they are ruined. The pool is huge and the area around the pool is an oasis. We didn't want to leave. It is so very close to the airport, yet only a 30 minute walk or 5 minute tricyle ride to get to the beach.
