Romney’s Self Catering Apartments and Snugs attached to a Gastro Pub & Restaurant in Kendal offer well-appointed self-catering accommodation in picturesque Cumbria. Luxurious 1, 2 and 3-bedroom apartments and snugs are complemented by an on-site bar and restaurant and all have free Wi-Fi access. Many bedrooms feature king-size beds, and all are furnished in contemporary style and have stylish wooden floors. The tiled bathroom is in keeping with the modern feel and has a large bath tub. Each unique apartment (apart from Snug apartments) has a fully equipped kitchen with high-quality appliances. Large leather sofas and a flat-screen TV can be found in the cosy open-plan lounge. Romneys Apartments are self catering, however the team of Chefs from the Gastro Pub will be happy to cook a bacon or sausage sandwich. The property is set in the grounds of a beautiful newly renovated 19th century traditional stone-built Gastro Pub and Restaurant. With a sun-trap terrace and beer garden. Having a contemporary atmosphere, Romney's is the perfect place to enjoy a drink and a meal from a wide selection of ales and wines and an extensive menu. There is also a play area with a slide, swings, climbing frame, and more. The play area is set in the opposite side of the grounds of the accommodation. Romney’s Apartments are just 6 minutes’ drive from Kendal Train Station and the town centre. Home of the Mint Cake, this pretty town is full of history, and serves as a gateway to the Lake District, being just 9 miles away from Lake Windermere.

Two bedroom apartment was gorgeous however TV did not work. Location was amazing

Unique apartment you can't find anywhere else”
We stayed in Snug 4. The apartment is very specially designed. We love the wooden stairs and the bunks made from very raw wood. There was plenty of room for 4 of us. Heating is inadequate in this cold winter weather. Part of the upper floor ceiling is low so we got to be very careful when maneuvering around.
