Situated in the Lake District, the Apple Pie is surrounded by picturesque scenery. It is a bakery and cafe that offers 4-star guest accommodation, limited parking spaces and free WiFi. Guests can enjoy a range of homemade pastries, pies and cakes, along with speciality coffees and teas. Full English, American-style and light breakfasts are available, with freshly squeezed orange juice, for a surcharge. Perfect stay in the middle of Ambleside”

Great location to base yourself for walks out of Ambleside and also be in the heart of the town for food and shops. The rooms were lovely and clean, perfect after a long days walk.

Highly Recommended”

Although we arrived earlier than the check-in time, the friendly host readily allowed us to check-in. Room is cosy and well-appointed, with great and spotless clean bathroom. There is an onsite carpark which is free for guest. The location is superb - you can just walk to the restaurants and shops; but if you need to drive, you can get a parking disc from the host to park at the street for 1 hr. They run a café which serve delicious scone and apple pie. Great for afternoon tea after a whole day of travelling. Highly recommended accommodation to stay!

clean, close to town centre, good restaurant

Wonderful stay overall, only a couple of rooms in this hotels, very clean and tidy. The room is pretty small but comfy. Lack of free parking spaces. Close to Ambleside town centre and only 10-15mins driver to Windermere. Have to try the Apple Pie Restaurant and Bakery next door.
