Great location”
We stayed here for three nights for a family trip. The hotel location was excellent and the staffs were very accommodating. For the price we paid we thought the hotel offered a very spacious and clean room. The only missing point was gym (swimming pool).

old but top hotel”
The hotel is located directly at the edge of China Town, public transport (MRT) is in walking distance. The welcome was nice and the check-in easy. The room was surprisingly spacious and nicely furnished and equipped. The bed was very comfortable. Unfortunately the pool was not available, because closed for winter time.

Just a stone's throw away from china town area. Yamashita park is also just a short walk. Will stay again if given the chance.

No swimming pool as advertised rooftop was locked and unable to access Howe we parking and hotel location were the best also the Chinese restaurant on site was one of the best I’ve been to after 30 years in Japan

Comfortable, clean, good value for money. The hotel is located adjacent to china town, so we had to search a bit for typical japanese food. The place is easy to reach by subway and on foot. Staff very polite and helpful.

Language barrier, need kniw Japanese else translating app”
The aircon is central controlled, was very warm and had to open the balcony door for ventilation... balciny cannot go out cos door is only opened two inches wide. Room is considered comfortable. Carpark is underground valet parking and again with minimal English, used Google translate app to converse.

Decent”
Pros: buffet spread is decent for both young children (1-2 years old) and adults. Staff can speak English well. Bed was comfortable. Location is walking distance to Chinatown. Cons: design and facilities are a little less modern, bathroom is small. You need to arrange airport transfer via the third party bus company (there is only one company operating such service apparently) on your own, the staff told us they can't help to make the arrangements on our behalf.

Very friendly staff and great location”
Loved the stay at the Rose Hotel had already stayed at this hotel last year on a business trip and came back this year with my wife.The staff are very friendly the hotel room is very large buy Japanese standards this is a three star hotel but the room size is 5 star buy the size and room to move,I have stayed at a lot of hotels in Japan most are like sardine cans inside not enough room to even open your bags This is a 3 star hotel but for value for money it is a five star in my books,location is great you on the East gate Chinatown entrance,a local 100 yen tourist bus stops outside the hotel the subway is five minutes walk away with 10 minute train ride to Major cities like Yokohama and Shibuyu and Toyko is only 40 minutes away on the train,attractions walking distance from hotel are Yamashita park,Yokohama Park (baseball) with a massive display of Tulips in April

Great location with friendly staff”
The staff was very friendly and helpful with our question on getting a airport bus pick up from the hotel. They also provided us extra towels, bathrobe and toletories set (toothbrush for kids) for the 2 kids that is staying with us. It is located near one of the subway and Chinatown is just right in front of the hotel. Infront of the hotel is one of the bus-stop for the "red" bus that goes round Yokohama bring you to most of the tourist attraction. Per ride is 100yen but can opt for day ticket at only 300yen (adult price - kids at half the price) Will definately stay in Rose Hotel again should we visit Yokohama again

Location near Cruise Ship Terminal”
Spent our last night in Japan here before catching a cruise ship from the nearby terminal, only a 15 minute walk away, which is very manageable even with luggage. Rose Hotel is not a cheap option but worth the cost for the large and comfortable room and upmarket hotel facilities. Literally across the street is the start of Yokohama's Chinatown with a huge array of great restaurants. If catching a cruise ship from Yokohama, I would certainly recommend the Rose Hotel.

Truly a must-stay hotel - coming from a Brit!”
As someone skeptical of reviews, I booked the Rose Hotel for 4 nights as part of a travelling package of Yokohama and Tokyo. when we arrived we saw we were opposite Chinatown...a great cultural experience. The staff couldn't be friendlier, attending to our every need. it's probably the best hotel in Yokohama!

Nice hotel and great location”
I enjoyed my stay at the Rose Hotel very much.I wanted to be close to China Town and the location of this hotel was perfect. From the moment i arrived and to the moment i departed i was made to feel comfortable and welcome.The hotel throughout was clean and tidy to a high standard.The staff were friendly and always ready to help with any questions regarding travel and places of interest to see.If ever i were to return to Yokohama i would not hesitate to stay here again.
