Onsen is very small and too crowded. Staffs is nice and friendly. Room is quite big. Nice Breakfast. Free parking lot. Value for money. Location is not located in town, suitable for people who rent a car.

It was too far out of town you were trapped for dinner unless you took a taxi into town about 12-15 minutes and the buffet was just adequate and costly. Most of the staff didn’t understand English so it was difficult to get something explained. It was a nice room and big for Japan type rooms and beds comfortable...you just have to decide if you want remote or stay in town!

Nice place to stay and visit Takayama city”
Good place. You get free breakfast buffet (at least for our case). I think there is a bus you can use to visit the Takayama city which is just 3 km away. Ideal if a private vehicle is used and it is closer to all the Takayama attractions. The staff is friendly and provide a good service.

the hotel is located at 4 km by the train station (city center) but there are free shuttle bus every 45 min. During the night, this service doesn't work... But you can pay 1500 yen of taxi service to return to hotel. the price of the room is 4000 yen/night less comparing with other hotels thus i suggest it as option to stay and enjoy of Takayama.

Although hotel is not located in the centre of the city, with shuttle bus, access is not a problem. The artificial onsen is great and the room is comfortable with good view!

An economical hotel, out of the main area of town. Has a free shuttle bus from the station. Good baths. The small room we were in was indeed small, but clean. The small rooms face the slope; the large rooms face the view. Very helpful desk staff (despite no english, and my no Japanese.)

Although the hotel is not within easy walking distance from the town, a hotel shuttle is available several times a day. Because of the hotel's location hillside, the view is wonderful, and we had an additional treat of a spring snowfall.

Its not serious complaint, but there was no seat at restaurant for breakfast at around 7:00am due to flood of group tourists. The table manner of these group tourist were ill-favoured. If there is separate seat arrangement for them, will leave much better impression of the hotel.

Located several km out of town but have a shuttle service from train station (although stops around 07.30pm, so limits evenings). Otherwise well located, has an onsen but we didn't use it. Good size room and comfortable. Breakfast adequate.
