Worse hotel that I have ever stayed”

We were given the top floor room which used to be the rooftop. The air conditioner is those type only exists in the 80s. And the noise is horrendous. To make things worse the ceiling of the room are made of cheap awning which whole night we can hear the sound of the rain dropping on the roof. Added on top of that the bathroom window is low and without any blind to cover off the window area.

Good location, nice reception”

Hotel is a bit hard to find, need to use GPS to find it. It's on a row of shophouse. Simple boutique hotel, rooms are ok, not too clean but not dirty. A little bit old. Have bathtub. Floors are clean but shelves are dusty. Not bad, will consider to stay again. Behind the hotel there is a very good wantan shop, must try it. Only open for few hours from 5pm onwards i think.

Very basic room. Its clean but since gives the impression that its dirty because its very old hotel. The room is still reasonably ok except the bathroom is very old that need to re-modeled.

minutes from the city center in hualien. the staff is generally cheery and helpful. hotel/railway transfers were great; just let them know the timings a day ahead. if you are interested in guided tours for taroko gorge, they can help make arrangements. remember to ask them for a local cuisine map. it was fun checking the food out. in room wifi was very weak, i had to head down to the lobby for internet access. restaurant area needs a bit of cleaning...the tables were sticky. otherwise, the stay was great. recommended.

good location and good price”

anhwa hotel is located in the middle of hualien city. the key roads are just around the corner where is very convenience and 7-11 is nearby. about 10 mins away from the hualien airport and 20 mins away from the hualien airport. this hotel is not that new but the room of anhwa hotel is clean (wooden floor which is so much better that the floor with carpet)and quite big with very reasonable good price. the staffs are very friendly and helpful.

Comfortable rooms but disappointing food”

though located very close to downtown hualien (less than 5 min walk), it was hard to find dinner in the area at 8 pm. however, there were plenty of sweets shops. breakfast consisted of congee, toast, and a few vegetables. the rooms were average: nothing special but no complaints. the staff was unable to tell me the location of any taiwanese breakfast places nearby but was able to give me driving directions to toroko.

Spacious rooms, great price, in city center”

we stayed in this hotel for 3 nights. the rooms are comfortable & clean. reasonable price. located in the center of the city which is convenient for shopping and food, but the train station is about 20 min walking distance. the hotel provide free transportation to and from train station, but you need to inform in advance. the hotel has english speaking staff in the front desk. i would recommend this hotel for anyone who prefer a comfortable stay at a reasonable price.

You are right in de city centre, room size is good and service is excellent. Breakfast is OK. Only downside is the noisy airconditioning in the room.

The lodging fee was reasonable. The room was clean and comfortable which I would like to recommend to the free-and-easy travelers. However, WIFI was not available in every room but the network socket was provided (you may borrow network cable from the reception).

Gute Lage, sehr schwierig zu finden”

Das Hotel ist in einer ruhigen Nebenstrasse an zentraler Lage. Es war jedoch sehr schwierig zu finden, da die Adresse in Agoda nicht korrekt geschrieben ist und wir die Strasse deshalb nicht finden konnten. Zudem ist das Hotel von aussen nur in chinesisch geschrieben, daher ebenfalls schwierig zu findne. Zimmer waren okey, Badezimmer hat am morgen jedoch schrecklich gerochen. Frühstücksbuffet wie immer in Taiwan. (Toast und chinesische Gerichte).
