Located on hillside with nice town view. Public minibus is working from town with only 2k IDR. Lady staff is super kind and serve suitable breakfast.

Great location, few minutes from ‘the center’ and we did a great tour: sunrise at the Sibayak. Would recommend this place, not the most beautiful city but it ok.

The Second Chance”
This is the second time we stay at this guesthouse, usually we choose our room upstairs room no 12. Breakfast is available, hot water is available if you wish to take a bath.

during my visit, there was a renovation in progress at the front yard, the bathroom water heater was not working well maybe ran out of gas (gas water heater). Staff was welcoming and nice, still made us breakfast (included in the booking) although we said we don't need any as we were rushing to go hiking at mt sibayak.

Cheap and Good.”
Ok place to stay if you are crashing in for 1 night. Quite a distance walk to the main road. Hotel owner was very friendly and gave good advice.

The TV channel is not good, only 3 channel seems good such as SCTV (the best), DAAI (not clear) and 1 local TV Besides, there is unpredictable schedule for shower, they limit the gas to be used for heating water to take a bath

breakfast was quite interesting fried crackers with yam!!serve with hot tea, view frm our room was excellent!!! cleanliness was good,ask them for cutlery @ hot water, staff is excellent attitude, no bedbugs 😊, outside street lot of dogs. overall was good enough!! will come back!!!

The hosts are very friendly”
Banana pancake for breakfast was yummy. They are building new rooms next door but it didn't interfere with our stay. Very close to the mosque. The view is wonderful.

This place is very close to a mosque so expect loud calls over the speakers at around 5am. No basin in bathroom. The bathroom is quite dirty. Not sure if this is relevant, but us Asian travellers were treated differently than Caucasian travellers. We got the feeling we were unwelcome there. Location wise, it's very near to the fruits market and shops. A highly recommended tour agency (for Berastagi day tours and back to Parapat) is at the same row with a Muslim restaurant. Look for Walter and tell him Seeyuan says hi! :D

Internet was fast. Staff was VERY friendly and helpful. Hung out with me 1 night and fed me, and also arranged for a motor rental and gave me good directions and places to see. If I'm in the area I will stay here again!!!!

Cold!”
Berastagi is cold and so is this place! No hot shower. breakfast served outside on balcony rain or shine. 2 white bread rolls - not the best provided breakfast we've had in Asia. Bathroom grubby and full of bugs. The woman who runs it doesn't have much English but very friendly and helpful.

Location good but not good for family stay”
The location is good. Close to fruit market. All rooms have no A/C or fan. Trust me you won't need it. It is very cold here 14-16 C. Both our rooms have hot water but only for a while. You have to wait again for the hot water. Wifi is good. Breakfast they will serve tea or coffee and some slices of bread. But, you can request Maria to get some Nasi Uduk at a price for breakfast. (Taste awesome) Room cleanliness is bad. Not good for family stay. Price for room was good.

Good for solo travelers ”
-Was very hard to find this hotel . -Nice that they having TV with local channels n few English Channel too. -I didn't found any wifi connection. -caretaker is nice and tries her best to understnd what u saying in English as she mostly there to look after all guest checkin-checkout . -nothing good and nothing bad in this hotel ..only what u pay is what u get ! -If u want cheap hotel ? U can get better then this on main road .

Had a good location the staff were friendly. Bathroom could've been cleaner and the hot water didn't last long but was good for the cost.
