отель расположен в очень удобном месте. около планетария. метров 40 находится улица long street, где можно выпить пиво попробовать африканскую еду. метров от отеля находится st. georges mall там можно приобрести сувениры и сувениры ручной работы. набережная находится 1,5 километра от отеля на такси можно доехать за 30 рэндов.

Хороший отель. Неплохие завтраки, свежевыжатый сок, вкусный кофе. Очень чисто и уютно. Приятное обслуживание. В номере есть халаты и тапочки.

Overpriced, great view”

Unfortunately, there is no alternative backup power in place for when it's loadshedding. Gowns are not new. Room wasnt worth the price even though the Mountain facing room have a spectacular view. Pool wasn't available for use. Breakfast, bar and al le cart was pretty decent

Great hotel in a nice area”

This hotel is located in a lovely part of Cape Town, next to 'Company Gardens' and with amazing views of Table Mountain from some of the rooms. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The buffet breakfast was also very good. There is a car park in the adjacent hotel with barriers and a security guard. Highly recommended.

Great place to stay in Cape Town. ”

Magnificent view from the window. Very clean and comfortable room, swimming pool. Opposite is a park with flowers, green spaces, inside the park there are historical buildings, the African Museum, a synagogue.The city center is within walking distance The breakfast is sufficient. Service is at a high level. Internet is weak but this is a problem everywhere in South Africa. If I visit Cape Town again, I will definitely stay only in this hotel

I have book a room with city view a had a block of flats as a view. Needed to call the desk to ask why the shower water was cold. Toilet seat was broken. Otherwise the room was very clean and bedding also. Breakfast was standard. Staff was friendly

I loved to stay there”

...but for one thing: the WiFi is a real problem. Very shaky and practically non existent in my 8th floor room. That is a problem if one has to stay in contact with others via WhatsApp. Apart from that the location is great, central and safe, the staff is very competent and friendy, it is spotless clean and the food in the Restaurant is good. There is a free shuttle to the Waterfront, too. I would return for my next stay, but hope a solution for the WiFi can be found, even for a charge.

Staff was incredibly helpful. food excellent at every meal. Best breakfast I've ever had in a hotel. Really appreciated the shuttle to the waterfront.

Good value for good price in the centre of town”

Staying in that hotel was a really nice experience. We enjoyed the room, the view on table mountain, and the service in the restaurant. The personnel at the reception desk seems to be, however, pretty much not interested in their customers: there was little to none interaction when coming in or going out of the hotel, no greetings, no smiling, no nothing. Staff in the restaurant was, in turn, very helping and service-oriented, including allowing for extensive over-the-hour breakfast time. Having seen the difference between "view on table mountain" or not, we would say that is absolutely worth paying the price for the mountain view as the indoor-view is straight against a hotel wall a couple of meters away and not really nice.

Friendly staff and delicious food”

We enjoyed staying at the Cape Town Hollow Boutique Hotel. The room was clean and well prepared for the stay. The dinner was delicious and value for money.

Everything was perfect, wifi was too bad, the bathroom was not reflect a 4 stars hotel, it needs to be more modern. But in general, it was very good.

Zero Customer Service”

We arrived before check in time and was turned away at the desk, which is fine. It will be really sweet if the lady would have try and see if there was available room for us to check in 2 hours earlier, rather than a flat out no. Despite stating that carpark facilities was available, it was not at the hotel itself, rather it was located at another hotel and we had to park and drag our bags across a busy road. After a long day of sightseeings, we went back to the hotel in the evening, exhausted, dragging our bags behind. Our room was at the top floor and we had to take a lift. They had 2 old-fashion lifts, one was out of service, which we need to pull open the door ourselves in order to get into the lift. They were no sign informing us of that, we missed the first round and had to wait for the lift to make another round before we were able to get in. This happened despite the staffs walking up and down the lobby, and nobody care to inform. Finally, as we managed to get to our room. We were greeted with a lovely view of Table Mountain before the next disaster strike. As my partner took a shower, the drainage system wasn't working well, the water seeped out of the bathroom and flooded the room's carpet. Oh well..

Well located, modernised older hotel ”

I paid extra to have a view of Table Mountain and it was worth it. If I hadn't been so busy I could have spent hours in my room enjoying that incredible sight. This is an older hotel so some of the fittings are more 3 star than 4-star: for example, the bathroom is small a little smelly if you don't air it out, lacks shelves and positions things like toilet roll holders awkwardly; the pool is very small; the internet allowance of 500MB per day seemed generous enough but the connection slow and it was difficult to log out: even when I turned off my WiFi to be sure it still kept running down. However the public areas and the restaurant are great and the staff very diligent and helpful. The location near the Company Gardens and around the corner from Long Street are superb, although a few unsavoury characters hang around there at night so solo or female guests might prefer taking a taxi back.

Overall OK”

We like the fact it is just a stone throw away from the Company's Garden and the Iziko Musuem (just cross the street), Long Street, Green Market Square & the Jewish Museum. Yet the location is not overly busy nor noisy. However, the hotel lifts are the old-fashioned type that u need to pull and/or push a heavy steel door before exit or enter. If handling many bags and luggages, it is a challenge! A 4-star rated hotel should have someone helping the guests most if not all of the time. Breakfast was average. I won't rate it 4 star.

Was on business in Cape town, so nice to be welcomed by friendly and helpful staff. Lovely rooms that are modern but the building still has some traditional charm. Location is great. Went for a walk in the gardens early morning. Have the Bobotie in the restaurant....fantastic!!

I'll definitely return”

The stay was comfortable, pleasant, peaceful and an all round pleasure. I had initially booked into the Best Western Cape Suites Hotel (which had received a high Agoda rating) and found it dirty, noisy and unpleasant. Fortunately I found the Cape Town Hollow Boutique Hotel. What a contrast! It was pure joy to stay there. Definitely a keeper. Can't wait to go back.
