Although it's an outdated hotel, but it's clean and very close to hualien train station .

Rooms were of reasonable size and clean. Location excellent if traveling by train, opposite train station, and short taxi ride from airport. Con. Very little English spoken or understand, but can get by.

Good location, bad service”
We stayed for two nights, we've been asked question since the second day of the morning. The old woman keep asking me and my husband if we are going to check out. She asked when she saw me in elevator, 10 mins later she asked again when I went out to have breakfast. She asked when we went back from breakfast shop. When my husband waiting for me in the lobby, she asked twice. She asked us if we are going to check out six times during the stay!!! I feel she is in urge to kick us out. Besides that the room was okay, not the best but okay and you can park the scooter indoor.

You get what you pay for. The manager was very nice and spoke excellent English. The bathroom was very dirty. The floor was still wet and there were soap stains all over the tiles. The room was very cheap, which is what we wanted. The biggest issue was the bathroom.

The location is convenient for the train. It's a bit old, but is fine for a place to stay while checking out Hualien.

Walking distance from the station”
Very accessible and good in every way. I highly recommend this place :) It's just that the accommodations are expensive in Taiwan when everything else is cheap as in most of Southeast Asia

Ideal location for visitors to Taroko!”
We stayed here for two nights over the New Year Holiday. Location is ideal as it is directly across from the Hualien train station (where you also pickup the bus to Taroko Gorge). We opted for the two Queen bed room on the 6th floor. It is your the best value as everything is new and there is plenty of windows for fresh air. Steve the owner offered great advice and insight to Hualien's attractions, don't hesitate to ask him anything! I would stay here again anytime.
