Place is advisable only if you want to go on sightseeing Pros 1. Surrounded by trees, fresh Air, no noise, nature lover 2. Has in house activities throughout the day 3. All age group will enjoy 4. Rooms has Oven, Toaster with basic cutlery 5. Friendly staff 6. Wide swimming pool 7. Wide varieties in food with few live counters 8. Spread in huge area 9. Rooms are big but doesn't offer basic toiletries, available only on request Cons 1. Highly expensive 2. One meal is Rs.1500/- 3. No network of Vodafone. Airtel and Jio at few area 4. No WiFi facilities in room. Only lobby and dining area is covered 5. Every activities is chargeable 6. Per day per person cost will be approx. Rs.12000/- 7. No late check out is available 8. For non club Mahindra many other better options 9. 30 kms from Medikeri, market place 10. Sightseeing is far, difficult to cover all in 2 days Over all if someone want to enjoy property which is 4 or 5 star, this is good option.

Unless you have children and excess money to burn, I wouldn't recommend. I will say it was an amazing property with attentive staff, but I was not the right type of traveler for this type of property. The wifi only works in the reception area and, even there, does not work well.

Club Mahindra - Team I believe that most service orinted and reputed company in hospitality industry, my experience was not so good at all, I don't have any regards to share my experience in this platform, which may not helpful to understand, nothing much to tell you...

Excellent resort to spend quality time”

Pro: Lush greenery, nice location, friendly staff and nurse, many activities., good food. Con : Bit expensive, approach road is very bad, pool is bit smaller than it appears on the picture, bit crowed in the restaurants - need better crowd management.

Beautiful property but too far”

PROS- Pretty well spread, lush greenery, spacious rooms and beautiful interiors. Lots of Activities (both paid and free) Cons- Food is crazy expensive!! We went to a small shop near parking area to get bread and Maggi as inside hotel one time food for 2 will easily cross 2000!!! From the hotel all sightseeing places are atleast 1 hour away so thats also a little turn off There are no hilly view from the resort as the hotel is located at base of the hill. So dont go there hoping for beautiful hill view. Pretty isolated location and you wont get any shop atleast 30minutes away.

Great property for Family ”

Club Mahindra, Virajpet is a great resort, very courteous staff. Special care was taken for my child meal preferences along with a surprise decoration & Cake provided on my birthday during our stay. Its highly recommended place for family to go and spend few days inside the resort as they have alot of activities for the family and kids to be done. Coffee tour is a must do.

Way overpriced for what's offered”

This accommodation is on nice, well-maintained, grounds, surrounded by the hills, but it's not worth the hefty price-tag. It is more geared for families than couples. There is a games room, but that it overrun by children and some of the things on offer (like billiards) are chargeable. There is a pool, but very few sun-lounges around it (about 15 for 150+ guests), and they are all fixed and not movable, with very little shade around the pool. So, if you are using the pool, your options are to fry in the sun (if you can get a seat), or sit at a table by the pool bar. Drinks and food were outrageously priced, with a "service charge" added to the bill (and no explanation for that charge), plus taxes on that service charge, which I have never seen before on any other hotel bill in India. As the property is located a long way down a badly maintained road you have no option but to eat and drink there. Staff are clueless. Service is slow (45 mins to check in and get our bags in our room)

Perfect Family resort”

Great place to be with family and kids. Awesome ambience. Very courteous and helpful staff always smiling. Superb adventures activities are there for kids. Amazing range of items for breakfast. Housekeeping staff just superb. Specially Akshay and pushpa. Check in Cordinator Ashish was escorting and helping as a family member. For any holidays one Must choose club mahindra always.

A very calm and peaceful place in the lap of nature.”

Access to the place was difficult as the network did not work in the way.Very poor WiFi networks at the reception.The road leading to the resort was mostly broken and the 2 kms stretch was horrible.Some stupid people were smoking inside the corridors outside the room.There was foul smell on the pathways inside the resort as the water used for sprinkling on plants was not treated or recycled one.The rates for meals (Lunch & Dinner) were on the higher side.

Beautiful resort”

Focussing on just the cons here. The food is super costly, especially for a non-member person. Ordering from the Gourmet Express makes sense rather than going to their restaurant. The location is also quite far from the key tourist spots. So, plan your travel with enough buffer time. Very god place to relax with your family.

Weekend getaway”

Though Club Mahindra offers differential pricing for members as against non members - booking through Agoda got me a good deal for 2 nights. The food is exorbitantly priced for non members - Avg plate cost Rs 350. The virajpet property being in the interior there is no place available close by to get a bite. However Club mahindra offers a dry kitchen in the rooms( Microwava, Kettle and cutlery) for quick bites. One can make ready to eat pasta, or instant noodles and stuff to eat if in case they are on a budget. Over the property is beautiful to stay in the staff very responsive and friendly and rooms are very clean.

Extra charges made for young kids, very remote location. Food very expensive. Since we booked through agoda they asking to complaint against agoda. Very bad experience.

A lot of activities to be done and has a great service. Food was good too and rooms were very well maintained. The only concern is the road to the property for last 3 kms is in a bad shape .
