отель для спокойного уединенного отдыха, но рядом с отелем есть остановка городского автобуса, расписание можно взять на ресепшине и посетить все интересующие места на острове, проезд примерно 15руб/чел. Машину на прокат мы бы не советовали брать, а особенно ни в коем случае не берите велосипеды, во-первых дорого примерно 700ру./чел в день, во-вторых на них не возможно ездить по острову с этого отеля. При виде вас на велосипеде все будут сочувственно улыбаться. Те кто по незнанию арендовал велос, больше одного дня не катались. Бесплатный трансфер на пляж Anse Lazio (единственный пляж где мы смогли поплавать без волн, все остальные пляжи и даже на Ла Диге красивые, но нормально не поплаваешь). Отличные просторные номера с огромной треугольной ванной. Хорошие, но однообразные завтраки. В отеле на пляже никто не купался, так как выносит водоросли, а персонал очень медлительный и ленится убирать пляж. Очень красивые деревья манго под окнами номера, но по ночам прилетают летучие лисицы и истошно орут всю ночь. По вечерам не хватало музыки, в отеле сплошная тишина, которая под конец отдыха начинает угнетать. Не смотря на некоторые минусы, отель очень уютный и красивый, в нем мы получили массу приятных эмоций и отличные фотографии с шикарными видами.

Мне не понравилось, что перед оплатой был обещан бесплатный интернет в номере, в реальности он оказался платный. Так же в номере не работал один из местных операторов мобильной связи (Airtel). При заходе в воду, много водорослей. Имейте это ввиду !

отель для спокойного уединенного отдыха расположен далековато от основной инфраструктуры острова, для перемещения лучше брать машину напрокат. Бесплатный трансфер на пляж Anse Lazio три раза в неделю. Отличные просторные номера. Хорошая разнообразная еда, но из морепродуктов только рыба. В январе с 10 утра до 15 на пляж выносит водоросли. утром и вечером вода и песок чистые.

We found Paradise”

Our stay in Coco De Mer was more than perfect, in all ways. The most memorable was the outstanding staff. It really felt like a big family, the atmosphere was amazing. They could read our wishes from our eyes and made anything possible. Also the kitchen was amazing, they made the impossible possible, as I had some intolerances and could not eat a lot of food, but every dinner I had 4 different and very tasty courses, I looked forward to dinner every single day. They really cared and were super nice. We also loved our room, with plenty of space, everything was very clean and comfortable. We had a little terrace, where we loved to spend our mornings, with sufficient space to do morning yoga or just relax. :) The gym was very well maintained and we used it a couple of times. As we were there during COVID times, the complete room is sanitized every time after a guest used it. The hiking trail to the top of the mountain, which still belongs to the hotel was also very nice, you have an incredible view from up there and our guide told us a lot about flora and fauna. He was very knowledgeable and also very nice. The complete hotel complex is super nice and well maintained. When we were there, there were not a lot of tourist, due to COVID, so we had everything almost for our own. The pools and the sunbeds, all very nice and comfortable. SUP and Kayaks are rented for free. It is fun to explore the nearby beaches. The hotel beach is also nice, there was quite some seagrass in the water, which was not a problem, as the sandy beach was clean and beautiful. The most stunning beaches you should explore in Praslin and La Digue anyway. :) The hotel owns some mango trees, with the most delicious mangos we have ever eaten. Go there in mango season (around march). You can see birds and fruitbats flying into the big trees all day, it is so fun to watch. All in all, we can totally recommend staying in Coco De Mer, we really miss the welcoming and family like atmosphere already. The co

Babymoon vacation”

My partner and I had planned to stay at Coco de Mer for one night, splurging a little on a fancy hotel on the last night of our holiday (we had been staying at Airbnbs for the most part of our trip). We were welcomed to the hotel by a super friendly staff at Coco de Mer. Unfortunately, while we had only intended to stay here 1night, this got extended to 10! We were tested positive for Corona. The hotel arranged for an isolation room (as per Ministry requirements) and we went into isolation. During our isolation, the Hotel Manager made sure we had everything we needed, and the staff came to check on us regularly. As we were asymptomatic we luckily did not have health complaints. Nevertheless, every day we got a call from the Hotel Manager to make sure that we were comfortable and he helped arrange our new flights to Mahe, and arrange a second PCR Test so we could be released from the Hotel. We would like to thank the hotel staff for making our stay pleasant considering the circumstance

One of the best hotel of Praslin”

We selected the best hotel according to our choice, what a view, pool, room, restaurants. Everything was just perfect, must say spectacular view. Staffs are so humble and pleasing. Bonus part for us was they had Indian menu and we enjoyed Indian food there which we did not get on any other island. Hotel and room both were sparkling clean, services are also good. We miss there sitting area near both the pools. Highly recommended place to stay in Praslin. Yes the famous beaches are little far bit still worth it.

Outstanding and absolutely friendly and careful !!”

We stayed in the Black Parots Suits and let´s say all was beautiful, very attentive and friendly staff and that counts for everybody without any exception. Nice and spacious rooms with a very nice balcony and view to the beach. Beside all i have to point out the way how everybody cared after we have got a WRONG positive PCR-test done in the local hospital. We had to go into isolation to another room, had to get a new PCR test from a private laboraty and most of all had to find new flights to get back. The manager Mr. Ash took personally everything in his hands and helped to arrange all what was necessay. Many many thanks for all his efforts. Also one of the waiters Ms. Rose did an outstanding job when supplying us in isolation with all ordered demands and food. All in all, .... the service and the feeling you get in Coco de Mer is extraordinary and you really feel welcome here. Thanks again to everybody !!!!

Your search is over. This is the place to stay! We have travelled extensively and would go so far as saying this is one of our favorite hotel/resort experiences. The hotel has pristine beaches, an excellent pool, great staff, excellent free day trips (one to Anse Lazio [Mon, Wed, and Fri] and another morning trek lead by the ever knowledgeable Jimmy through the hotels protected Coco De Mur reserve [Tues, Thurs, and Sat]. The rooms are comfortable and the internet is good.

Paradise on Paradise”

We planned a last minute bucket list vacation to the Seychelles. I knew I wanted to stay on Prasdin, but just lucked into a room at Coco de Mer. When we arrived, we were blown away by this resort. We went to 3 of the islands, but because of our experience here - this will always be our favorite island. There is a private beach, infinity pool to the ocean, a great swimming pool and delicious food. Our room overlooked the ocean - and was incredibly clean and comfortable. I have nothing bad to say.

Nice hotel & great staff, but 1 flaw”

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed staying at the Coco de Mer. The staff was very friendly and helpful. One of the best parts of this hotel is something they don’t even really advertise; the free guided hike on the hotel’s 100 acre grounds. Our guide (sorry forgot his name) was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about the plants and beauty that makes Praslin so special. I would stay at this hotel just for the hike (and view from the top) alone. The food and beverage was very good and reasonably priced (for Seychelles). Although we only purchased the breakfast plan we ended up eating dinner at the hotel on several nights because it was so good. The nearby Les Rochers Restaurant was also amazing. The only part of this hotel that was disappointing was the linens. The small thin towels and scratchy sheets were what you would expect at a cheap motel and did not at all match the luxury of this resort. I would mention that anyone looking at this hotel should know that the bathrooms are fully open to the bedrooms. As a couple we did not mind the lack of privacy in the bathroom, but would have liked more than a short glass “shower door” to toilet.

The best place to stay at Praslin Island”

Coco de Mer and Black Parrot Suites has great location, very nice sunset views, staff is extremely kind and helpful. You can get from there to Anse Lazio beach and Georgette beach just under 30min by car. Food is very tasty and fresh. I recommend very much staying there. All the best, Piotr

I was blown away by this place! They make you feel like family! It has amazing pools, great beaches and most importantly, the food and drinks are incredible! Cocktails are cheap and are incredibly detailed - felt just like in a craft cocktail bar. I would RUN back there!

Great resort experience in Praslin between Vallée de Mai, the airport and the jetty. Enjoyed the big pool, the excellent food and the late chats with the barmen and waitresses. Private place where you can definitely have a great time relaxing.

Excellent hotel”

Main dishes in yhe Dinner buffet are really tasty, hotel room is large and clean, quiet. Staff are excellent as well. The only downside is the complete lack of privacy in the bathroom. It's totally open that there's 0 privacy even for peeing. You can see it through lol But hotel's other advantages offset this bathroom thing by far.

Amazing Sunsets!”

This hotel offers a practically private beach with no passers-by, amazing sunsets on the sea with a platform overlooking it and the infinity pool... you could stay forever watching the sunset! the rooms clean, spacious and modern with comfy beds. service at restaurant at lunch was very slow, food at dinner (self-service) was great and good variety. service at pools was simply non existent: glasses, leftover from other guests stayed there for hours.... it should be more checked by management. on the beach it was everything self-served as nobody was there to clean the sunbeds full of ants or dirt. other than those 2 points, the hotel was very quiet and staff at reception very friendly and helpful! we would definitely recommend price for value: consider end of april starts the weed in this side of the island so the sea is not as transparent as elsewhere.
