A peaceful stay in the woods”

This is an amazing resort located quite far from Madikeri(more than 30 km). If you wish to get away from your busy city life, what could be better than sitting in a private balcony facing a lustrous green valley. The food in the restaurant is great, and the free dinners were definitely a welcoming surprise. My only complaint is with the housekeeping staff. They did not provide us with new set of toiletries after room cleaning and also did not care to replace our wiping towel.

We were a group of 11 people, 8 adults and 3 children. the only thing i liked about this place was the swimming pool. rooms are average, food and breakfast average, no bar. I would also like to write about AGODA. for a standard room i was charged Rs. 7200 where as when i checked the hotel rates, the Standard room was for Rs. 3500. The hotel staff told me that they were paid Rs. 3500 only. I felt Cheated by AGODA. i would request the readers to not book through AGODA EVER!!

a pleasant stay at coorg cliff resort for 4 days. the non ac rooms below swimming pool have no natural ventilation. when we open windows for air, all types of insects come in which was quite unpleasant. we recommend better insect proof nets at the windows.

We stayed in premium valley view room .The room is very large and spacious . You have a walk-in closet with wardrobe and big mirror . The washroom was also very neat and clean . They will provide you with the all the necessary washroom and shaving kit . The premium valley view room has a private balcony with a mesmerising view of the valley . Due to covid room service is not available but if you have any issues they were very prompt in sending someone and helping us out . We requested them to send some starter at the home and they even sent that . Morning breakfast buffet has a lot of options and they will serve you everything on the table . Due to covid the activities are on hold currently .Swimming pool is closed right now . Plantation tour was excellent given by Mr Avinash. He will give you lots of information . Cycling activity is still open in the resort . Overall what matters for us the hospitality and for that I will give them 10 upon 10 in everything . For room view and location 10 upon 10 . Must stay place 👍

Room entrances are like dormatory! Also, my car was broke in the night since parking is in open space! nothing to do at the location.

Good: The rooms are clean and huge with a beautiful view from the premium valley view rom. Bad: I think the property is over priced with no facilities to offer due to covid(Acceptable) . Do check before booking because there are no activities currently operational even there is no WiFi no ac and no room service.I think we paid a lot for only a room and view.( Not acceptable) Food was bad. Overall a very bad experience. If your young couples or friends planning to go think twice.

Awesome Place to relax and get lost!”

If you want to isolate yourself and get lost into woods, then you can certainly pick this Resort. The Resort is situated very pretty far from City, almost 96Kms far from Mysore Railways Station. Since it's situated, away from city, it has its own merits and demerits Merits: Secluded place Fully surrounded by Coffee Estate Can enjoy the climate peacefully Demerits: Have to travel comparatively more to reach the other tourist places nearby Have to make a detailed plan since the place remote Have to be careful while driving as the road is little narrow Accommodation: Our stay was very pleasant. We stayed in Plantation room and Honeymoon Suite room for our 2 days trip. The staffs were very polite and were provided us the amenities we requested. We can able to see the valleys and the plantation from our Balcony. Honeymoon is a must try if you are planning to stay just in your room. It has its own Jacuzzi and balcony at an higher altitude. Due to Covid regulations, AC and Swimming Pool were not available. The Wifi was a bit problematic as it was steadily available only near reception area Food: The Food was very cheap because we took a package. The Buffet was really good and we enjoyed the ice creams particularly! Be sure to book a package, other wise you have to shell out more money as you cant find any restaurants nearby. Tour: The Management has arranged a complementary plantation tour morning and evening. We had a chance to see the Coffee cherries, Pepper and Chilies. Also there were some fun events in the evening. Overall we took a very nice memory staying in this resort!

Awesome location and view. Rooms were clean. Lunch was decent. Dinner and Breakfast had good amount of varieties and tasted good too. Due to COVID-19, pool and other rope activities were not available. But would definitely recommend. Friendly place for family, friends, couples.

Great place to stay!”

We stayed here for 2N and loved the place.. the view from the rooms is amazing, staff are helpful and the food is good too. They provide free coffee plantation tour within the resort property and cycles. However, one drawback is the wifi. Be prepared to not have wifi connectivity in the rooms and you can only access in the lobby area. Also the timings for food are quite strict and apart from timing mentioned they would not accept orders.

Decent resort for a family trip”

We just stayed for one night. This is a well-maintained resort with a killer location, hosting a handful of activities and facilities, including the pool facility. However, things are a bit dull during the times of Covid-19. The pool is closed, no fun or adventure activities except a decent coffee plantation trail walk, and cycling inside the property. However, they did keep up by arranging bonfire and wildlife documentary show. The food was good; in particular, the buffet breakfast was great. They have sufficient toiletries inside the hotel rooms and well-maintained rooms. Make sure you ask for rooms with the best view, don't miss your shoes for walks. They do follow Covid-19 protocols strictly and hence they do not serve in-room meals. However, they ensure sanitization and cleanliness very much. You would love the location if you're doing a getaway from Bengaluru or Mysuru, and that too 3398 ft above sea level.
