Had a great stay at the hostel ”

A bit far from the train station for me .. took me 12-15 mins.. walkable distance .. but not very hard to locate ...... .. lot of eateries around the hostel .. the rooms are neat , and clean. Staffs are helpful too ..I booked a single room for 3 nights (7 July-10july) but in their record it showed (8-11) . Kelly did reassure me not to worry and got me a room within 10 mins as I was so tired from my trip.

Very cozy place to stay overnight”

About 5 to 10 minutes walk for Hualien train station. The front desk (Jack, Nick when I checked in and a lady when I checked out) is very friendly. They will try to answer any questions your may have regarding Hualien/Taiwan. Simple clean and comfy room. I like the sitting area where you can chill after a tiring day out. However, please take note the check in time is 3pm. I was there at 2:30pm and there were no person to attend to me. I could not even enter the premise. Perhaps that is something the management can look into. Even we cannot go into the room, at least there is a reception to allow us to leave our luggages etc.

Location is convenient, friendly staff”

The location of the hostel is conveniently located at the center of Hualien, near the main road going to the night market, and the train station, takes 15 minute walk to Hualien train station. It’s also near establishments such as restaurants, groceries, bank, convenient stores. The room (single room, shared bathroom) where i stayed is clean and well maintained. Staffs are also friendly and accommodating, and speaks English well.

Stayed in a dorm, the Beds are comfortable. They have curtains for more privacy. Location is maybe 10 mins from train/bus station. The staff is very helpful and knowledgeable. Only downside is the lack of toilets and showers. Only 1 toilet and 1 shower to be shared. Not sure if private rooms have ensuite bathrooms tho. Always a lineup in morning and evening to use the facilities

Best hostel I've have been”

I felt like at home. Good vibes! Warm, funny and welcoming staff (Peggy, Tasha and Lu). Clean and beautiful style of the place, rooms and furnitures. Delicious breakfast. 10 mins by walk from train station. Free rent bicycles. Surely I will stay again if I go back to Hualien.

The location is 10 minutes walk from Hualien Train Station. The staff are super friendly!!!! The provide me a breakfast although i have to go out super early! Really appreciated that. For those whose watching this, you will not regret staying here. I will definitely stay there again during my next trip.

The environment of the hostel are very nice, the room clean and tidy. The hosts are very nice, with very kind services with us. They got recommend the places to travel, so we no need to search for, because map is provided. They are included all kind of facilities, including washing machine with free of charge. So much great experience there, I definitely will recommend this hostel.

Cozy and relaxing”

Very affordable price for single room. Clean, quiet, simplistic, trendy design with big window and nice view. Each room is equipped with mirror, alarm clock, plenty of electric outlets and towel. Breakfast is available. Location is about 10 minute walk from train station and close to downtown restaurants (5 minute walk). Highly recommended.

Cozy & Welcoming Stay in Hualien”

The moment I stepped into the hostel, it felt so cozy and comfortable. Love the decor in the hostel and room. What you see is what you get. I stayed in Double Room which is more than sufficient for solo travellers. Room is spacious with balcony. Love the sofa decor and the sink area. Room is clean and comfortable. Bed was big and comfortable. Free Wifi available! Instagram-worthy! The housekeepers were really friendly and approachable. Before I left for my dinner, I was given a map by the housekeeper who introduced and directed me to nearby places to eat and explore. They even offered me fruits after I came back from the night market. We had a good time chatting in the main area. They took note of my dietary limitations and reminded me about breakfast for the next day (8.30-9.30am). The breakfast was simply delicious. I had cheese melt chicken thick toast. Yum yum..

Nice owner, nice stay!”

I really enjoyed staying in Cozy House. Jacob, the owner was a super nice young man. He showed me around the city and took my to some very nice local restaurants. The rooms were clean and beds were very comfortable. The living room is a great place to make friends, we had movie night there with new friends. The hostel is about 15 minutes walk to the railroad station, also the Taiwan-Tour shuttle bus start point, you won't miss your train or bus. :)

The warmest hospitality ”

Firstly, the location of the cozy house is just perfect, it is very close to the breakfast shop and convenient shop. Secondly, the staff are all very helpful and the way how they serve and assist me was just so nice. Definitely will introduce to my friends and relatives and sure I will stay again at this warm and nice cozy house on my next visit to Hualien.

the double room i stayed was nice, clean & new, and same as the photos shown. when i checked in, the young guy took the initiative to suggest his recommendations on food, cafe and travel spots, very helpful & friendly. And his recommendations were worth to go! the young lady was also nice & very helpful on suggesting where to go. It was a lovely stay. Will definitely choose this hostel again when i come back Hualien! The only thing to deduct marks is the location a bit far from train station & the city centre. But taxi is cheap there!

This was the best of all the places i stayed in Taiwan so far. You can count on the 2 staff, peggy and tasha if u need info and enthusiastic service! It's not so near or far from the railway station but just ask around. The Hualien people are keen to be of help!

A good place to stay in”

Within walking distance from the train station. A little far away from the center of the town. But the convenience store and nice restaurants are within walking vicinity from the hostel. The place is clean and neat, with a very comfortable common area. The self-service washer and dryer are bonus.

15min from hualien train station”

this hostel is 15min away from train station. if you have big luggage, not advice book this hostel. besides that, the hostel is provided breakfast, but it only start 8:30am, it a bit late for traveller due to normally tour is start from 8:20am, so normally will miss the breakfast. the breakfast shop at corner is nice.
