the room are not even clean when we checked in. There were empty beer cans on the yard. Disfunctional bathroom doors. The good thing only is the house is ery spacious and the tv have sattelite channels

Cleanliness is failed. Lots of dusk, hair, and looks like the house is empty quite long time. Bathrooms are dirty, floor unstable and made it flood with water. All suis plugs are very high, how can you use it (to iron, to charge phone, etc). In term of safety, only 1 door lock for entrance. Easy to open without key. Good in aircond, towels are in each room, facilities are quite okay.

The washroom was freaking dirty..guessed was washed during the house was built only. The bed is too dusty and 2 / 4 rooms has bed bugs.

Spacious (put another queen size bed in master bedroom would be awesome), clean, friendly & fast response staff, good location (near jetty & popular seafood restaurant)

'i feel cheated'.There's 3 adults and 1 toddler only in our group. I choose dview guesthouse because of 2 main reason 1-wifi connection ( since ill be staying at home most of the time with my toddler while my husband and business partner went for a business meeting on UniMAP, i would like to get a full access to the internet without sharing with other hotel guests ) 2-space. ( instead of a hotel room, i would like the stay with my toddler to not be limited in the room only) With this 2 reasons in mind, i chosed dview guesthouse. When we first check in we were told by the receptionist that there's no wifi connection due to the disturbance/ maintenance by TM. I was told that it might get better in this 1-2 days. When i first step in to the guesthouse, it was smaller than what i expected and saw in the picture. In the kitchen there's only the sink, fridge washing machine, microwave and few utensils ( 3 glasses, 2 plates and only forks, no spoon ya).the utensils are really unacceptable especially the plates that seems like they bought from rm1 shop. The finishing of the house is sloppy,the furniture is new but seems cheap and the worste of all is the TOILET. It seems like the one u get when staying at homestay in the kampung area. There's even a basin attached. Sink is small and the water heater is so loud when its on. The only thing that i like is the aircond (acson) which make loud noise on our last day too. When things couldnt get any worste there's no WATER. Try calling the hotel number landline and handphone but theres no reply. In the morning we went to they said that there's water disturbance in kuala perlis and i should have come to the lobby sooner. Mind u that it happened at 1am. They ask us to switch on the water heater as it also reacts as the pump. ( still couldnt process the reasoning). And during my 5 days and 4 nights stay not once i get connected to the Internet. The hotel is much better not thr guesthouse

Our family of 8 + 3 young children rented one of the homestay semi-detached houses for our recent Raya trip, and we weren't disappointed. The house was incredibly spacious: queen-sized beds in all 4 rooms, 3 baths with hot water pumps, large kitchen and spacious living room with ample space for the kids to run around and play in. The furnishing was relatively new and clean. Some reviewers complained about the hard mattresses, and they were indeed very firm, but this feature was a plus point for me as overly soft mattresses acerbate my back problems. There could have been more pillows though, at least 2 per person. The pillows provided were too hard and one per sleeper was definitely insufficient. Bring your own, if you can. 8 towels and 8 mini bars of soap were provided, 2 per room, but no other toiletries were given, so come prepared. Wifi is free with decent service, and our house had a flat-screen TV with ASTRO attached. Plug points, however, were an issue, as they were rather inconveniently located, mostly high up on the walls next to the light switches. The kitchen was equipped with a large fridge, a microwave, hot water kettle and melamine plates + cutlery for 4-6 people. Not quite sufficient, but everything was clean & well-maintained. There was also an iron, ironing board + broom & mop provided. Service could be better improved though. Check-in time was strictly kept to 2pm, almost arbitrarily. We had arrived at 11am and told to come back later, and coming back later at 1.40pm, we were still refused check-in, even though we were informed the house was ready and had already been cleaned. We had to have a ridiculous "talk" with the manager, who finally relented and "allowed" us to check in 10 minutes early. We thought this was quite ridiculous. All in all though, we were very pleased with our lodgings and would definitely consider booking D'View again for future large-family trips to Perlis.
