The things I like and don't like with our 4 day, 3 night-stay at Hotel Fun-Linsen”
I would like to commend Hotel Fun - Linsen for having a very a warm and accommodating staff although some of the staff had difficulties in communicating due to a language barrier, still they were able to do help us in our stay. The business room that they do advertise in Agoda are quite small in relation to a standard hotel room but it was quite nice and cozy. The bathroom was superb with a see-through glass shower room. All toiletries were provided although there was no cabinet to put your clothes on. The lights of the room were controlled in the phone and the air conditioning unit was functional. The hotel has a very big hotel front lobby and another lobby on the second floor. There was also a social hall, a billiard table, 3 massage machines, a vendo for drinks sold in Taiwan, a laundry and dryer room, 2 computer units for internet and a lot of couches to sit on and interact with other fellow travellers. There was free breakfast and it was buffet which they didn't indicate in agoda. The buffet menu consists of white rice, 3 soups (sweet soup, soy milk, and rice gruel) 5 types of viands consisting of stir-fried vegetables, white bread, butter, orange and strawberry marmalade, 2 sweet buns, salad, potato fries, fried nuggets, and fried sweet taro sticks, coffee and 2 juices. I had quite a very nice and comfortable experience with them. I will truly come back for more Taiwanese adventure.

Birthday treat indeed!”
My sister and I decided to go to Taipei for her birthday. I only requested a big bed and it only applies upon check-in and on availability but to our surprise, we were given a PWD room which is a big help for me especially the CR which is my need, I do have a PWD id here in the Philippines. They also refilled our toiletries when we requested for a room cleaning. They do speak English and easy to communicate with the staff. We also enjoy the massage chairs available and for free. I commend the buffet breakfast which is a great value for money that they offer vegetarian menu as well with a lot of drinks variety including tea and coffee. We'll definitely stay here again for another visit and will highly recommend to others. Also a 3-minute walk on MRT station. No hassle when you have a luggage for the MRT station has escalators (Exit 1) so you will not worry carrying your luggage. Their weighting scale also had a great help to us since we have a limited baggage allowance for this trip.

Another Terrific Stay”
This was our much-anticipated return stay at the Linsen Fun after a two-year absence (we first stayed here back in 2017). After a two-year absence, we didn't know what to expect. To our relief and joy, the Linsen did not disappoint. Rooms and public areas are kept spotless. The buffet breakfast is really a highlight. You get toast, sweet rolls, coffee, juice along with traditional Taiwanese dishes. The daily cleaning staff are professional and respect yoyr privacy. Rooms are kept spotless and they replenish the towels and other amenities. We really grew to like the nice lady who makes our room. If anything, our return visit was even more enjoyable than our first one. We certainly look forward to our next visit. Thanks, Linsen Fun !

Great Choice”
Hotel Fun - Linsen is a great choice for accomodation. The location is good as it is near MRT. Our room is clean and nice. The double beds are sturdy and are separated by a curtains. The airconditioning system is also working well. The common areas are also great. We like the design and the functionality of each area. The common bathroom is also good that even my slightly delicate and sensitive friends are happy with it. Each cubicle has shampoo and body wash. They also have hair dryer. The only thing that we didn't like was that the staff tried to enter the room while we're still inside. Overall, I'll definitely book in this hotel again if ever I come to Taiwan again.

An ideal place for Family”
We are a family of nine. We booked 2 rooms having 6 beds per room for 3 days and 2 nights. The rooms are clean and we can hardly get up in the morning because the beds are too comfortable. Location? It’s just 3 min walk away from the station and it’s very convenient since 7eleven stores having atm machine inside, poya (grocery store) are just nearby. I must say we have a very excellent experience and we really enjoyed our stay plus the sumptuous breakfast. The place is peaceful unlike the other places I’ve visited in Taipei. Will surely recommend and will surely comeback!

A perfect place for every type of traveler!”
Hotel Fun - Linsen exceeded our expectations. I booked it for our group of 6 for three nights, and it was our first time to try a hostel. I was very happy with my decision, and my family loved everything about this place. Our beds were comfortable, and the bathroom area was amazing and always clean. They offered a buffet type of breakfast, which my family enjoyed so much. I like that we are near the MRT and Poya, where we bought a lot of stuff. We had FUN staying here. It is definitely worth every penny and highly recommended!

Comfy stay and good hospitality ”
It was our first stay in Taipei and we were not expecting too much for such an affordable price but we were really shocked. The hotel was really near to not only the mrt station but also near to local stores and restaurants that we didn’t mind just walking around to see what we could eat. Another thing is their service and hospitality is superb! The fact that you are able to do laundry in the hotel itself, their room cleaning service is fast and efficient and the fact that you can control every lighting in the room by your bed. Really loved our stay in hotel fun and definitely would stay here again next time!

Best Value for Money Hotel”
The rooms and bathroom are clean and can get daily housekeeping. The location is good as you can take the train to the airport with just one transfer and vice versa. The place isn't in a noisy area so did not have any issues at night sleeping. The breakfast is good, however, I'm not much of a breakfast person. The staff were friendly and helpful upon check-in and check-out. This is my second time here and its been great both times. Highly Recommend anyone traveling to Taipei to stay here.

We did not expect the hotel would be that good. Me & my bestfriend travelled a few times & we only stay at cheap places. But Hotel Fun went beyond our expectations. From the lobby, to guest lounge on the 2nd floor, to guest rooms & comfort room, it was perfect. There were massage chairs at the guest lounge. What blew our mind was the free breakfast. We only expected coffee & bread, but to our surprise it was a buffet! Enough said, i will definitely recommend this hotel to my friends & family when they visit Taiwan. Before i forgot, yes its near to the train station & 7eleven!

The place is strategically located near an MRT station, a bus stop/station, and a night market. it can easily be accessed if you plan to take the train/bus during your stay. In terms of staff, while most did not understand English, they really try their best to understand you, and take you to someone who can best answer your query. The rooms are clean (despite being small) -- but could make do if you plan to NOT stay in the hotel the entire day. Facilities-wise, they have not much recreation, but I don't think you need the amenities if you plan to tour the city.

The pros definitely outweigh the con ”
PROS: 1. The cleaning crew sees to it that towels, bed sheets are replaced and the room and bathroom are kept exceptionally clean ; 2.) Buffet breakfast with sufficient refills; unlimited drinks ; 3.) Free drinking water and free unlimited refill of orange juice; 4.) Free use of massage chairs ( just discover what are the lean hours---mostly around 9a.m. to 3pm) 5.) Plenty of restos and eateries nearby; mini mall downstairs; CONS: I can think of Only one (1) The 5 p.pm. check-in time is super late /long especially if you come in after a long haul flight and is so tired already to just roam around

Superb!!”
Even though this is just a 3-star hotel, our whole experience with this hotel is just like a 5-star. They clean our room everyday, greeted the customers (esp. the cleaning staff) whenever we meet them (even though its in chinese) and gave us smile. The breakfast is a buffet but since most of their customers are international, there are a lot of choices to choose from. Also, their free massage is the best after all the walking all day. Kudos to this hotel! I will book here again if I ever want to go back to Taiwan!!

Would highly recommend!”
The place is just a few minutes away from Zongshan Elementary school exit 3 or exit 6. It’s just beside Poya (it’s like a convenience store) and a few minutes away from 7/11, Cosmed, Family Mart and Coco (hehe). I love the place as they provide free water near the reception area, they have a common area where you can chill and drink free coffee/juice. They also have a microwave oven in there, just in case you want to reheat some food. They provide free buffet breakfast (asian) which is a plus! You can also play billiards near the entrance. On the second floor, you can find 3 massage chairs which you can enjoy for free! There’s 2 computers on the same floor as well and vending machines just in case you want to drink something else. The rooms were okay as well! For the price, this exceeded my expectations! Will definitely come back here if ever we visit Taiwan again! ❤️👌🏼

Convenient location, clean and reasonably priced”
The hotel lives up to it's name. It is indeed fun with free drinks, water, and a massage chair for a guests. They also have a lounge area where you can hang out before your check-in time. We had a twin room and it was large enough. We did not even notice the fridge. There's a department store in the same building and a 7 eleven store is within walking distance. The check in time is quite late though so if you are arriving early in the day you can just leave your luggage at the lobby.

It was clean and accessible to mrt”
The food was great. It has lots of options. Though the bathroom is common, they were clean and no queue. Though we sleep on bunk beds, they were comfy and with privacy because of curtains on each bed.. the staff were nice and very helpful. eventhough they are not fluent in english, they do try their best to speak the language and will try their best to assist you. definitely will recommend to friends.. thumbs up!

Perfect stay!”
The hotel is superb!!! Close to everything especially the subway. Very convenient. I forgot to book car from airport, so we took the subway direct to the hotel. The bed, pillow n room was superb. Super clean. Toilet is great. They provide everything. They have pool (snooker) (can play after 9am if I'm not mistaken), breakfast, free washing machine and dryer, and the most likeable 3 free massage chairs. Superb!

It's MORE FUN in HOTEL FUN - The BEST Accommodation EVER! ”
I don't usually leave a review after having my trip but, Hotel Fun totally deserve to write for! From its outstanding location which is pinned in the heart of Taipei wherein its nearest mall named POYA was just 1minute by a walk, MTR Station is just 3 minutes away and buses are just right at your doorstep - very convenient to roam around the lovely city! Not just that, the hotel serves delicious BUFFET breakfast and it's definitely beyond my expectations. All of their staff were nice and friendly and their FREE MASSAGE CHAIR was such a bonus after having a looong day. I wish I could write everything but, the rest is for you to find out. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel to all travelers!

Worth your money!”
They have friendly staff, clean rooms and a lot of comfort rooms. It was easier for us to prepare in the morning because all of us can take a bath at the same time, but if you're going to avail the dorm type, bring your own towels since it is not provided. Massage chair and vending machines are available on the 2nd floor but there are available 7 eleven stores near the hotel. MRT is also walking distance and accessible.

... the place is really nice... we have a buffet breakfast which is really plus points... the place is clean...and the have a storage for luggage wherein you can leave your bags if you went there to early or you want to leave your luggage after check out if you still want to explore Taiwan more prior to goin' to airport... plus it is very near the train station which is a plus plus for us...

6 Nights at Hotel Fun - Linsen”
Great location, the hotel is about five minutes walk away from the metro. The staff were helpful and provided cleaning services as long as the sign provided by the hotel has been hang at the door to indicate that you want the cleaning service. The hotel has a pool table and massage chairs (free) available, five stars for the facilities. The only downside that I could identify is that the area for walking is small therefore, it will be difficult if you have a large luggage.
