Pros: - Close proximity to the train station (5 mins walk) - Very comfortable room, comes with attached bathroom with rain shower and bathtub. Shower gel and shampoo smells amazing (from Cha Tzu Tang). - They put in a lot of thoughts and efforts to ensure a holistic experience for the guests, which includes a map of hualien with recommendations from the hotel, postcards that will be posted to us one year later, etc. It's a pity we didn't have time to explore the facilities in the hotel, like the rock climbing wall, gym and xbox room, and children reading corner. - Helpful and friendly staffs - Breakfast has a wide variety of selections Cons: - none Overall very pleased with the service. Highly recommended!

Wonderful Service”
The hotel is in a great place, you can go anywhere from there, near the station (3 minutes walk) and the car hiring company (1 minutes walk). The staff there is so so nice that I find no words to speak ill of them. Even though 1 of the receptionist's english was not good, she tried to explain and answer me all of what I am curious. There was one staff in the afternoon, when being asked about the transportation to some tourist spots, she helped find the best route for me, gave me the best advice how to go there in the most careful way. The food in the hotel is so delicious and not similar to all other places I have ever stayed in Taiwan. The facilities were in great facilities that I want to stay there longer and made Hualien the most most wonderful places in Taiwan for my trip.

Very Nice and Easy”
This hotel is very nice and is great for its location near the station. The room was clean and the morning breakfast had lots of food. For me, I did a three day bike tour with Giant, and when I got to Hualien Station to finish the ride, HotelDay Plus was located perfectly just a two minute walk around the park from the Giant Bike store. Clean, nice, relaxing, big double bed, hot shower with good pressure, and staff was very helpful.

Nice clean room near train station”
The location is great if you're catching buses or the train. The walk to the center of town is a bit far, but lots of taxis are around. We didn't have a view from our room, but if you walk outside, the nearby mountain range is beautiful. The decor of the room was nice, and the bathtub was especially relaxing. Lots of options for breakfast. The only thing missing was a safe in our room to lock away valuables.

probably the closest decent hotel near the station”
affordable price, decent food, clean and bright room, plus the nearest hotel just across Hualien station. And there's a place you can rent bikes or vehicles just next to it. Recommend, if you are newbie or first time backpacker and the B&B might be too risky to you, choose a good hotel to start a journey, not a bad idea.

Best location, best service, best hotel.”
We are group of 17 people, we are booked for 5 rooms in the mid of week and stay for one night only. The price is cheap for 4*. The location is after arrived TRA, u just go out and will see Mart in ur left side.. u only goes straight for 2 block and u will see sevel and turn left. U will see the hotel in our left. The breakfast also good and have various food. The staff also helpful and nice. I love stayed this hotel and will come back if I go to hualien again..

Great location, comfort and a great breakfast”
We have loved staying at this hotel and this was our third time. It has very comfortable beds and is convenient to the train station. It has free parking when we drive and always a great breakfast of both some western and Asian food.

The hotel is near to Hualien station (about 3 mins walk). The hotel room is clean, pretty and comfortable that we do not wish to step out of the room. Will definitely stay back at the same hotel when I return to Hualien next time.

Best hotel on my trip. Room was large and clean. Within 3 mins walk to the bus and train stations”
Location was great. Hotel had large, clean, well-designed rooms. Staff were friendly. We had windows that looked over an office block which meant curtains had to be drawn during the day but it didn’t bother us as we were out all day. Was very convenient when we had to catch an 8.30 am train to Taipei. It’s a short taxi ride to the night market at Dongdamen but fare was about NT$130-not that expensive.

We were impressed the moment we stepped in the hotel lobby. A very design-centric hotel. 7-11 and train station nearby. Loved the fact that they had a laundry room. Breakfast spread was superb. Only thing was our bathroom light wasn't working and they didn't get it fixed for us.
