Beyond expectations”
Location is very strategic and convenient because it’s very near Hualien station. Wherever u wanna go in Hualien, it has the best location to go from because most public buses and trains are all accessible here at Hualien station. It’s a green building hostel and easily spotted across from the station. There’s a cafe at the entrance of the building, or other alternatives like 7-11 is just a stone throw away. Beside the building is Hualien’s very famous Mochi Store which tasted superbly good. Hostel service was really beyond expected. Months before check-in date I was already contacted by their staff members via WhatsApp regarding on our itinerary and booking assistance whichever that we required. Or even just a simple enquiry that u may have about Hualien, they would be glad to answer or assist with. We managed to reserve 2 outdoor activities that we wanna participate in Hualien through their assistance in the bookings and the best part is we could make payment on our check-in date itself, without going through complicated bank transfers or emailing of personal documents. Through WoW Hostel helps to save up all the hassle and complicated procedures. Hygiene for the hostel is really, really clean. I have never seen such a clean hostel and their hygiene really impressed me. Facilities of the hostel is very pleasant and cosy. Very old school/retro vibe environment and simple toast and coffee provided for Breakfast every morning. Beds are quite comfy and sufficient space provided for luggages, adequate privacy and space if you’re staying in dormitory style rooms. Language communication maybe a bit difficult if you can’t communicate in Chinese, but some of the staff there knows little English so they will try their best to help u. Overall it’s super value for money, I will always come back here if I ever get the chance to travel around Hualien the next time.

SUPERB!!! ”
The moment I booked the accommodation on website, I received a confirmationWhatsapp text & also provided some Hualien attractions I could visit. On arrival (2 March 2019) , I went to L2 to check in, I was greeted by warm welcome by the staff at reception counter. As I arrived around noon, I enquire about half day tour.Howard was very helpful with my last minute request, and managed to arrange for whale/dolphin watching tour. He also provided travel caution such as whether I will be seasick, etc. Howard also provided map of nearby place I could visit, plus bus guide. He is an exemplary staff of hostel. Thank you Howard. I also booked for Taroko Gorge tour the next day. Unfortunately I left my water bottle in the bus. Bmo helped to contact the driver to bring the water bottle back for me. Thank you Bmo. During breakfast, Kim. She was also very friendly. Without me asking, she showed me how to use the stove. I saw her cleaning the kitchen area, and dining tables and also clearing the trash. Very hardworking lady. Thank you Kim. I also met Ranaw, who lent me her hair clip to fix my shorts strap. Also chat with her a short while before I depart. She is also a super nice lady. Thank you Ranaw. As I only stayed for 2 nights, I may not have then opportunity to meet all the staff in your hostel. It is such a good place to be in , I’m sure all the staff are happy working there, and I can see that they treat the hostel like their home. Will choose to stay here if I come to Hualien again.

No Regret on Staying Here”
Really LOVE my period of stay here. It's a stand-alone building so you know that is the building when you reach the destination. There's a nearby famous Hualien mochi shop but a bit far from the night market by walking. 7-11 is also around the corner, so it's easy for you to get whatever you need anytime anywhere. The toilet was clean and they provide free shower gel and shampoo and the best part there's a partition to separate the shower and the toilet. The towel is provided at a cost of NTD30 so be prepare for it. A simple breakfast was provided (bread and salad). Overall it was a pleasant stay for me.

Location so good”
The wow hostel is located just outside the Hualien train station. You will be able to see from gantry. The staff there are very friendly and ready to offer help. I think they offer travel planning services or some sort of guidance at lvl 1. They are helpful and show me bus schedule to take to the locations I want to cover. The hostel provide bicycle rental service (I heard that bicycle is a common mode of transport). Common area is well designed and clean.

Very friendly, relaxed environment. Clean and comfortable room and bathroom. The location is ideal; so close to the station. Good breakfast; toast, jam, Nutella, peanut butter, plus salad, tea and coffee. The only downside is that the main lights in the bedroom are controlled by a sensor, so when people come back late at night or use the bathroom during the night, the lights turn on and remain on for over five minutes. Regular lighting would be less disruptive.

Super convenient and great private room!”
We stayed at the Wow Hostel for two nights. Our room was very comfortable and came with good amenities. The hostel is within minutes of walking to the train station and served good breakfast in their common room. We would stay there again if we visit HuaLien.

Great hostel for solo backpackers”
The 1 bed dorm room is nice and spacious with a locker and area to put your thing. The bed is comfortable. And the plus side is that its location is just opposite the Hualien Train station. A great value for money.

Hostel is located opposite hualien train station. Convenient location. Staff was friendly and helpful. There are 10 floors. The lounge is cosy and you can use the kitchen to prepare your meal. Took the female dorm, there are 5 beds in one room. The room is a bit small as in there is just ample space between the toilet and beds and lockers. Locker is enough to fit my 65l backpack. The shower and toilet facilities is inside the room. However there is also the public ones at level 4 & 5. There is a cafe at level 1.

You gonna love this hostel in Hualien!”
Very 1st of all, the location of this place is too strategy! Just walk around 4 mins from the Hualian Train/bus station. Staff are very very friendly and helpful! Abit different from other hostels was,there is a bathroom in each of the room! Breakfast is great as well. bicycle/ motorcycle rental service is available too with very reasonable charges.

Highly recommended!”
The property is located in front of the train station and 10 mins ride to night market. There's laundry service and simple breakfast provided such as bread, jam, eggs and coffee. You will have to fry your own eggs though. The moment i booked the hotel, i have received a whatsapp from them, introducing some local attractions and tour.

The room was spacious enough even for a dorm type room. They had multiple sockets near the beds. Checking in and out were easy enough to do as well. Would recommend staying here if you're arriving late as their front desk lets you check in late at night
