Ни за что бы сюда не вернулся”
Заплатив 264$ за 2 ночи в отеле, я получил ночлежку в стиле B&B, в комнатушке 4х3, в которой, кроме кровати и умывальника, не было ничего - ни вентилятора, ни телевизора, и неоткрывающееся окно выходило на грузовую площадку перед столовой. Когда кто-нибудь проходил по корридору, пол в "номере" скрипел и двигался. Справедливости ради надо сказать, что перед заселением мне предложили "улучшить" свой номер, то есть обменять его на другой, но доплатить при этом ...... ещё 260$. Я, естественно, отказался, и нам пришлось выживать в ночлежке. Естественно, во время бронирования, была показана совершенно другая комната. Единственное преимущество - центральное расположение, но, возвращаясь из города, приходится преодолевать очень крутую гору.

Melbourne Lodge, an excellent place to stay!!!”
Hi. I had travelled with my husband and my 80-year old mother here from Auckland. Before arriving, had spoken to Mr. Vinit and Ms. Caroline at the reception. Both were great to give the requisite information to me. Upon arrival, could meet Caroline in person and one Mr. Daljeet, both gave us various inputs regarding Tours conducted in the city to Milford Sound, Wanaka and other sightseeing places and also about the Malls and the Eateries around. Caroline helped us book a Bus & Cruise to Milford which was easy for us to plan our trip there. Booked a Studio Apt. The room 36 was nice, spacious, clean and tidy with all amenities one can expect, for the money we paid. Parking lots are less. Restaurant was spacious enough to accommodate 100 people. View from Restaurant was simply great. Breakfast included in the rate offered was fulsome. Ms. Kajal at the Restaurant is very cordial and helpful. Hats off to all the staff members at Melbourne Lodge. Would surely recommend this place. Thanks

five star accommodation on a one star budget”
this is the second time I have stayed at Melbourne lodge. good off street, level parking, good lounge facilities, good tea making facilities, room is comfortable with a king sized bed, linen and towels provided, toilet and shower are shared facilities but very close. the owner is very friendly so good for a laugh. free wifi, for queenstown, this must be the very best quality / value for money. I have stayed in many accommodation places in this town

What a Gem in Queenstown ”
So glad we decided to stay here, from booking onwards staff were friendly and helpful. When we arrived we were welcomed shown where everything was and told breakfast was included! Our room was great could lie in bed and look out our window out to the lake and mountains. Would definitely stay again , they have great staff and everything was wonderful and clean.

Great service, great location and value for money”
Our stay at Melbourne Lodge was very enjoyable. The service provided by all staff was outstanding, the room was clean, the price was very fair, the free breakfast was healthy with a nice variety (even catering for gluten free) and the view from the lounge area was breathtaking. We will definitely be back. Well worth a stay at this establishment.

Great hotel ”
We really enjoyed our stay at Melbourne Lodge . The staff were very friendly and helpful. Family room was a good size, very clean , comfortable and quiet. Great view of the lake from the front veranda of the hotel. Definitely can recommend this hotel, and definitely would stay here again when we’re back in Queenstown.Thanks Melbourne lodge for your hospitality.

Very clean and spacious ”
Last minute decision to drive to Queenstown and booked this gem by chance. Our 2 bedroom, family room was excellent! Plenty of beds and space for everyone; Our room had 2 bedrooms with a separate lounge area so we could relax in the lounge after putting the kids to bed (unlike many places where we have been cramped in the same area all together). Large, comfortable family sofa, full kitchen, lots of storage space for bags etc and was very clean and tidy. I am picky about cleanliness and notice even the smallest missed spots, but this room was sparkling clean! And is also serviced daily which is so nice to return to. Very handy walk to the main drag (although it is up quite a big hill so if you have someone unable to manage this...driving may be the better option). Breakfast was also included with our stay, nothing fancy, toast, cereals and some fruit salad and cold meats. Was enough though and convenient for us.

Brilliant stay- Great Room, comfy sleep, lovely staff and perfect location.”
This was the perfect location from which to stroll into Queenstown and explore, both by day and night. The room was lovely, we had a very comfortable large double bed and there was a spare single in the room too. The en-suite was lovely and clean, the shower could have been a bit more powerful but that’s the only thing I would change. The view of the gondola was exceptional and we could see the paragliders (which led to us booking one!) There is even a view of the lake from the balcony. The shared facilities are excellent, we loved relaxing in the guest lounge and the complimentary breakfast was an added treat. The staff were super helpful in all we asked. We can’t wait to come back and stay here again.

The managing team composed of Vineet & Yana will consistently go the extra mile to make you feel at home - for most of us visiting - away from home. The lodge itself is very functional and deserves an excellent rating. The proximity to town is ideal and the view from the guest lounge rather majestic. It's been yet another fantastic experience staying at Melbourne Lodge. The entire staff is very attentive and accomodating, and the facilities are fully fit for purpose. The communal areas are kept clean throughout the day, and air conditioning is available to keep you cool when the temperature outside rises to an uncomfortable level. In short, all's good. Highly recommended!

Perfect ”
This is my second visit to Melbourne Lodge from UK. I really like how it offers the comfort and facilities of a hotel but also how the lounge with its spectacular views, offers tea, toast making facilities, food storage, so you can do your own thing. The staff are lovely and the breakfasts delish !

It was our second time staying in Melbourne Lodge and everything kept at the same high standard. Staff were friendly and helpful, location perfect, room and facilities clean and tidy. The continental breakfast was included. It's hard to beat at this price in Queenstown. Definitely will come back again.

Perfection at its best”
I have had the chance to stay at Melbourne Lodge on multiple occasions over the last few months and couldn't recommend this place highly enough! In particular, I have found the managing team (Yana and Vineet) to be the most friendly and hospitable hosts one could hope to meet as they are always keen to offer the best customer service experience possible. Spotless rooms and amenities too at very competitive prices. Will definitely be back! :-)

Friendly crew, very keen to help with any issues. I had a single bed room, and for one person, was very good value for money. They also had a special surprise deal that they offer beyond what they advertise which make the deal even better value for money. I could not find any fault with the melourne Lodge

They do genuinely care about customer experience and are always flexible dealing with my requests, which is always very much appreciated.
