Best stay in Taiwan!”
My cousins and I stayed in 5 places in Taiwan (across different cities), and this was our favourite! The room was clean, spacious and was super comfortable. Staffs were super nice too, and it was the only hostel we stayed in where we got a tour. Parker, one of the staffs, helped us get around Hualien and even ordered a taxi for us. One of them even rushed to help us get our luggage (no lifts, btw) down the stairs. Location was strategic too, and nearby there are mochi shops you can frequent for souvenirs. Would 100% return and recommend!!

Unexpectedly amazing ”
I have been to some of dorms in Taiwan, and I have to say this surprise me. They gave me a free upgrade on the night I arrived. They do actually know the customer by heart and were expecting me. (I told them late check in, but managed to arrive earlier than I thought) The dorms is clean and it is quiet. There is a private bathroom in the dorms mean you just have to share it with your roomates. The bed and pillow is perfect for me. Very close to the train station. But that also mean you need to walk some kms to reach the night markets and busy areas which is fine for me. A place that I will definitely come back to.

Magnificent”
This hostel is my favorite in Taiwan. It's very well located just right in front of the main train station in Hualien and bus station to go to Taroko and other places. The double bed in a dormitory is very comfortable and with some privacy due to the curtains. Pillows are comfy, clean and big, also the bed. The staff is super friendly and helpful. They clean very well every single place in the hostel. There are free tea and coffee, and some convenient facilities to enrich your stay. It has a cozy decorated, and places to socialize. Highly recommended, don't think twice, because is value for money

Perfect spot near all amenities”
My son and I stayed for two nights. We opted for the dorm room with 16 beds and felt very comfortable and very safe. The beds are private with charge points and a small night light. As we entered reception we were greeted by friendly faces and helpful staff to settle us in. I spoke to Frank and in the morning, I chatted to Emily. (she was funny!) I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone who is visiting Hualian for sight seeing and water sports. Very good value for money. 👍

Great hostel by train station. Best of the hotel is its wonderful staffs.. Ting, アリンコ and Parker！ Arrived the night before and lucky enough Parker gave me an upgrade from single bed to king size.. next morning アリンコ gave me valuable information on my travel schedule.. after exciting yet tiresome hiking from Taroko, I sat at the lobby bar and had a wonderful chat with Ting Ting for the whole night.. and was so amazing that she was busy working the whole time on computer , receiving booking calls, welcoming new guests and taking care of bar chores , yet she was so gracious and willing to talk to me ! Very sweet and very professional.. what I cal real services! I actually planned to spend only one night and turned out staying for three nights, Simply because these nice staffs! Jason

Really nice place for such a price paid. Location was very convenient as it is located right outside the train station. Night market is also only a walking distance away (half hour or so). If your legs are tired, you can also call for this cab company (QuanJia) which charges a flat rate of $100twd within a certain area of Hualien. Place is well maintained and clean, facilities are also pretty decent. Staffs were extremely friendly and also gave alot of recommendations on where to go and what to do!

booked a private room for two for two nights, one of the beds is elevated (loft style) which I think is a great use of space. room is clean, toilet smells nice, easy access to free coffee, tea and water is really thoughtful. staff are warm and friendly. location is close to the train station and souvenirs, a few hundred meters away from a major street of restaurants. would definitely recommend and stay here again.

The hostel is super close to the Train Station. Everything was good: the price is reasonable (considering its convenient location), the receptionist is helpful, the bathroom is not very big but always clean. And one special thing I really like about the hostel is their cheap laundry price: only 20NTD for washing and another 20NTD for drying! If Hualien is in the middle of your trip like mine, you should definitely do the laundry here. The price was doubled in Taipei fyi.

Great place to stay in Hualien”
The property is a short walk from the train station and about 30 min walk to the Dongdamen night market. I had no problem going there by foot as there are lots of things to see and is pretty flat. If you didn't want to go all the way to the night market, there are plenty of other food options around. My room was clean and had the basic amenities I was looking for. I would definitely stay there again.

Clean, quiet, cheap”
The hostel is in a good location close to the train station. The staff is friendly and took a lot of time to explain every tourist attraction to us. It's clean and cozy. Close by are a lot of scooter rental companies, which also rent to foreigners. Price varies but should be about 500 per day. This way you can visit the night market (10 mins scooter) or the Taroko Gorge (30 mins).

Location is fantastic, short walk from Hualien Station. Very clean facilities! We started in a private room with a private toilet and bath. It was very spacious and very clean. Not a lot of air circulation so need to keep the windows open to let things dry out. Staff is really helpful! Great recommendations on where to eat and shop for groceries. Overall and excellent stay and highly recommended!

Very comfortable and clean. Near to Hualien TRA station, 3 mins walk. Convenient for taking the Taroko tour bus. The staff have great and awesome hospitality definitely (super caring) and good recommendations to places. Walkable distance to most places or you can take a public bus. Look no further and book your stay here with Mini Voyage!

VERY CLOSE TO THE STATION!”
ALL GOOD! Near to the station! Also, there is good food around the hostel. The staff is also very informative and hospitable. One of the staff helped me to buy my train ticket to Kaoshiung through an app and then accompany me to pay the ticket at 7 Eleven, so nothing to worry when you stay here! You are in good hands!

Strategic Location, Near Hualien Station”
The location is very close with Hualien Station. The Facilities were also complete. They provide coffee and tea at pantry. The room and bathroom were clean (hairdryer provided). The staff were friendly and helpful.

Beds were clean and comfortable. Double pod was more than big enough for two. Bathroom kept clean. Good security. Kitchen facilities. Two minute walk from train station. Can’t fault it.

the environment is very comfortable and cozy. makes me feel like I'm living in a big house. facilities are sufficient. it's one of the best budget-friendly accommodation I've stayed in :) we have huge luggage and we're glad to be assigned to the lower deck at a corner. There is ample space to sit around and chill. We found used tissue paper and hairpin at hidden corners of the bed frame though. The staff probably didnt see them when cleaning. Just hope that other hostel guests can be more considerate. Very close to the train station. We checked in past 11pm and the process was smooth and easy.

Super easy to find (300m)opposite Hualien train & bus station to Taroko. Visitors centre is also next to station. 6 bedded dorm on 4th floor(no elevator) was bright, airy & very spacious with bathroom attached. Small locker was provided inside dorm. Beds were clean, firm with duvet. Every floor had drinking water machine & common fridge. Only thing was a lack of shelves/table in bathroom /dorm. I enjoyed my stay at Mini Voyage & would return when visiting Hualien again. Thanks Ting for all your kind assistance including carrying my bag upstairs.

A worthy hostel in Hualien”
I arrived at midnight after the counter service time, but I received all I need for the night via email. Everything is well organized and well prepared, bedding, showers, slippers, and hairdryer, etc. They also provide some tea and coffee. Very lovely hostel.
