Sea View”

Great Location, close to night market. Room is clean, bathroom is spacious, love the balcony with sea view. Cloudy season, not able to bring out the best view during our stay in early Apr. Seaview rooms are apart form main address, best to confirm with staff before heading. Staff are friendly and wiling to help. Overall, had enjoy our stay and recommend to all.

Very nice Breakfast, Clean Tidy Room + Good in-hoom facilities. Free bicycle. Location is so close to night market and bus stop (to/from airport or other places of interest), within 3-5min slow walking. Close to seaside park. Reminded that if you wanna go to/from train station, better take taxi or bus, because its more than 40mins walk, as hualian is not a small city though.

The sea view was really nice and the night market is within walking distance. The space was really cozy and overall a good stay. However do note some construction work going on by the sea so there are some noise though not extremely loud, from morning till late afternoon!

Everything was amazing! They brought breakfast to our room and it was different each day. The staff were so incredibly helpful with everything and the location was perfect. We stayed in 3 different places in Taiwan but this one is hands down my favourite. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Lovely view and nice staff”

The view from the room is excellent, 180 degree sea view. Staff was super helpful. For the location, we are close to the biggest night market, which is 5 mins walk. And shore side we chose, it is quite a distance from the main street/area, around 20-30 minutes walk. Yet, bicycles are available for free rental from the hostel and you can easily find the parking spot.

Nice location and view. Sofa bed need to improve. ”

The sea view is nice. The location is about 20 mins walking distance to jin san jiao (golden triangle) and about 5 mins to night market. Surrounding has limited food places. If your priority is not sea view, then probably there are better locations. We opt for a extra bed but the bed was more like a sofa bed. The sofa bed was stiff and the mattress /sheets was thin. We could feel the structure underneath and have to pile extra blankets. The staff were helpful to look after our luggage for Taroko tour or whale watching. They prepared breakfast earlier to meet our schedule.

Nice experience”

The seaview room is very cozy and have a nice view of the ocean. Highly recommend to couple who wish to enjoy a romantic night. Also the staff is very helpful and friendly, they even helped us to call a taxi on the day we left. The location is very near to the night market with only 2-3 mins walk.

Less than 5min to night market”

Our room was facing the road at the entrance so it can be quite noisy. The room is cosy and breakfast provided is at a cafe nearby a few steps away. The breakfast is a set and changed daily the two days we stayed. I only didn't like the bathroom which didn't separate the shower from the sink and toilet, and everything is wet. The bathroom remained wet the whole time, not drying at all.

Friendly host and Comfortable”

Stayed there in end Oct 2013. Hosts were friendly and even recommended some places to go/driver. Room was slightly small but very comfortable and nicely designed. It is also walking distance to town area yet also close to the beach. We used the bicycles provided to travel along the beach which made it convenient.

The location is near to the night market and haibin bicycle trail. The bicycles are available for use at no additional cost. The breakfast provided at Mimihai is simple and yet satisfying.

The worst accomodation i stay during my trip”

The room has so many small flies and is dusty, it did put a notice there no cleaning will be done!! Never come across with this type of accommodation, very disappointed. Unlike other accommodation, the staff din't even help us to carry luggage although we have 2 kids (2 yrs & 4 yrs old) with one elderly. The breakfast consider ok only,but you need to walk to another building which is about 5 mins walk, and the area is quite heaty, complained but being informed air con is on already!!!

the restaurant for breakfast is not on the same building and have to walk for about 5 mins; as it locates near the sea, the room is not that clean with some dirt and insect; should better provide somewhere for hanging wet clothes
