Quiet street”
Twin room on 6th floor. Clean quality bedding, pleasant high quality decor. Good size room at an excellent price ($84 Aud Sunday night). The staff at Pegasus are friendly and helpful. The foyer is light and luxuriously decorated with bonus details such as luggage scale and multi phone charger. Luggage storage is convenient and the Check-in Staff kindly rang me when my room was ready before 3pm. I would recommend Pegasus particularly as there is no traffic noise, however our room did have sporadic water gurgling noises. Previous stays in a two bedroom apartment were comfortable however I would avoid being next to the lift. The is a convenience store/Asian grocer 'City Mart' open 24 hours only about 20 metres away (out front entrance and turn to right). Pegasus is a one minute walk from Flagstaff Subway station, 1 minute walk from Latrobe St free tram, 8 minute taxi to Southern Cross Station or a 12 minute walk. Queen Victoria Market is a one to two minute walk behind Pegasus.

We were booked for a 4-day stay at the hotel and we were pleasantly surprised to learn that we've been given a free room upgrade for the entire duration of our stay. The staff at the reception were very helpful and friendly, and were able to provide us with clear instructions for our check-in. The hotel was conveniently located and is within walking distance of many major attractions. There were also several cafes and eateries nearby, making it convenient to grab something to eat. We loved how spacious, clean and tidy the room was. I was thoroughly impressed by how well-stocked the kitchenette was. It has everything that you might need, from cutlery to crockery, even wine glasses! A big thank you to Maddie for keeping our room tidy!

Second visit, I'm hooked”
I had a room in the same position as my last facing A'Beckett street and it was better than the last room, they had lost the two uncomfortable tub chairs in the living area and the Television position was lower down the wall at a natural viewing level. The housekeeping is very good, though their recycling bin policies are odd, no bottles or glass, when glass is the number one recycling property, other than this I love it here, now I have at first it wasn't at the right end of town but I now have improved my Melbourne Tram geography, I visit friends in Richmond and now I can do it easily with minimal walking, it's also great if you come into the city on the Skybus as it is the first stop on the Skybus city link, so no complimentary city tour. The staff here are all very nice and helpful, I look forward to coming back again, hopefully soon

Great Value and comfort”
I had a great four night stay here, booked a Studio and I was upgraded to a one Bedroom Apartment, the space was great, the bed was very comfortable, the living area furniture was of poor quality and not comfortable to sit on and mismatched in size and height, but the big plus were really great staff, Reception, Bar, Housekeeping, I ordered a Club Sandwich one night, went down to pay and pick up at the Bar and it was delicious. I have already booked my next stay. My room was 1709

Excellent stay”
We got ourselves a 2 bedroom apartment during our stay from 21 June to 25 June. Location was great in a sense that it was near Queen Vic Market (but how often do you wanna go there?). It is an easy walk to Melbourne Central and access to free trams etc. Good Korean restaurant (Buza) next door. Property has good laundry facilities. Service staff were nice and we had a pleasant stay overall. Parking cost was a little steep to me (AUD25 per night). but I guess it was kind of a "city price". Will probably stay again. Victor

great location awesome staff”
Although there is a lot of construction ongoing around the area it didn't interrupt a great sleep! The staff are very helpful at the front desk and in the lounge and bar. Cheers Will and Zoe and all. The view isn't the greatest but I wasn't there to sit in my room and stare out the window. It's the location! Close to the huge Market and the nightlife of this part of Melbourne including a bustling main street and Chinatown.

Great location and attentive housekeeping team”
My husband and I chose this property as he needed access to a gym and pool. It wasn’t big but sufficient for his use. The property is located slightly away from the main area but it was great because it is quieter and still within walking distance to everything - transport, eateries and Vic Mart was just behind. Housekeeping team was super attentive as they probably realised my husband and I were down with a cold from all the meds on the table and provided us extra issues. Simple gesture but well appreciated. Great place to stay with a kitchenette for anyone wanting to take advantage of the fresh produce from Victoria market.

A Mostly Positive Experience ”
This hotel provided a good stay at a very economical price. Location was great - the tram stop was nearby. There was a slight odour in the room, possibly from the carpeting or cleaning agents used, but it was not a big deal for us. The room had a window that didn't shut properly, so we had to call a hotel staff to rectify the minor issue. The toilet was decent, but there was a small gap at the bottom of the shower door, so some water would leak out. But the floor mat provided takes care of this. The room featured large windows stretching from floor to ceiling, which offered a good view of the surrounding buildings, but at the time of our visit, they were a bit dirty on the outside. Once again, this was no big deal. The bed was comfortable, and gave us a good night's sleep. However, the air-conditioning unit was a little noisy from time to time. We didn't use the kitchenette, but it was decently clean. Overall, the stay was generally positive. I'd rate it 8/10.

I always stay at Pegasus on my trips to Melbourne. Can never fault this apartment hotel. Great lapping pool and spa. As solo traveller great having bar and restaurant on site. Around the corner is Thai Aroma who do great massages.

Tidy hotel at the top of town”
The hotel is a value for money hotel in a great location. 5 minutes to North Melbourne market lots of choices for eating out in the area. Its a couple of blocks from Melbourne central - a shrine to shopping. They have very friendly staff and a gun 3rd year apprentice chef call Sam Chan - ask for his Pear in Apple Moonshine desert - sensational. All in all a nice pub that ticks all the boxes

Suitable for family”
We book for 5 nights of the 2 bedrm aprt for a group of 6 people (my parents, my two kids and my spouse). The kitchenette works well for us as we can whip up almost anything with the groceries we got at Queen Victoria Market which is just 4 mins walk away... they have fresh vege, meats, salmon, oysters and lobsters too! It is also easy to get souvenirs. We can also walk to Coles central, take a tram to anywhere, book the Great Ocean Road tour which fetch and send us back to this aprt. Everything works great! For 5 nights, we had our room cleaned up each time we are out and toiletries refill daily too. Awesome stay n everyone loves it. We will be back again next winter!

Fantastic! Worth it!”
The place was great! Accomodated our early check in request. Room is spacious and clean. Pool is big and the gym looks great! Only complaint would be the very loud aircon, problem is you cant not have it on as if you open the window it’s very noisy outside.

My friend & I booked into Pegasus for 4 nights in January. Great location, reasonably central to the CBD. Happy hour every night at excellent prices. Great friendly helpful staff. Studio room was more than ample for our stay. We had breakfast twice, full buffet, excellent value for money. I would recommend & stay here again next time I am in Melbourne.

The hotel is at a great location. Queen Victoria market is round the corner, less than 5 mins walk. About 10-15 mins walk from southern cross Station where we alighted the skybus. Room is decently sized for the price paid and bed is comfortable.

Great location ”
My hubby and I stayed here for five nights and found the location handy to Skybus shuttle, Flagstaff Station, and to trams travelling down William St and La Trobe St from which connections could be made to other lines. The only negative I found is it would have been helpful to have had a shelf in the bathroom on which to rest a hair dryer and brush while drying hair instead of having to place them on the floor all the time. We would stay here again though.

Large and clean rooms”
Clean and cozy room. Room is quite large and have a little kitchen with everything we need for a decent meal. Close to the tram station and easy to get to the main attractions, like state library, QV shopping mall, etc.

The hotel is located just 5-8mins walk from subway station. It is located in the quiet area of CBD. The staff are very friendly and the room was impressive enough for the price. Across the hotel has a very good cafe where people cue for brunch. Would love to stay here again! Thank you

Great hotel”
Brilliant location and nice modern rooms. We had a slight issue with our first room but this was very quickly and efficiently resolved, and we changed room. We didn't have chance to try breakfast or the bar / facilities on the ground floor of the hotel but it looked great. Would definitely recommend for exploring Melbourne.
