The second time at this place, I don't see any improvements. The rooms need refurbishment, front office never smile or greet their guests, the most terrible thing about this place is the F&B, the food is disgusting, they don't even have a table knife for spreading butter or jam on your toast- when I asked for a knife the answer was "We dont have any, but you can use a wood stick instead"...The restaurant closes soon after 7 pm - we came at 7.10 pm and they said it's too late for eating dinner. Appalling service.

Needs more work”

The ranch resort is a very interesting and tempting concept. Farmstay experience sounds lovely. But the ranch itself is pretty run down, the whole facility needs upgrading. The ranch is not well maintained and there are mosquitoes EVERYWHERE. Please wear long pants and long sleeves. You will regret it if you don't. They provide insect repellent but it is not enough. The ranch is rather large so you will need to rent a bike/golf cart to get around. And they charge you for this. Breakfast is provided but dinner is not. If you choose to eat there for dinner, it is rather expensive so do consider bringing your own food. The resort is not bad, it was clean and well maintained so we had a comfortable stay. The hot spring experience was enjoyable as well. They provide hotel transfer from Hualien train station as the location is pretty far away. 100 TWD/pax is reasonable as the ride is ~30 min. Pls check the timings with the hotel. Overall, the whole place needs more work to become a better attraction. I will still recommend going to this resort ranch for the experience but don't have too high expectations.

Downsides: Beds are a bit hard. Hard to get around the ranch if you dont rent a vehicle. Good experience overall.

We arrived about 6pm and were not told about the restaurant closing at 7.30. After our spa, which they suggested, we are turned away from the only food source in the hotel! However, the restaurant captain was so kind to offer to drive us to an eatery nearby. I wanted a takeout and he very willingly paid and brought it back to me! Great attitude and service. The room is not as bad as some reviewed.. although theere are torn wooden flooring, outdated toilet, hard bed. it is clean.. with the zoo and spa thrown in, it is good value!!

Bad impression of stay at Shin Kong Chap Feng”

It didnt leave my family and I a good impression as there were many unpleasant encounters during our stay. The ranch was huge which was amazing but it charged us for rental bicycles which we thought should be loan to customers for free since it is still within their premises. The room we initially booked was very far from the resort entrance and there isnt any free WIFI available, which most hotels/hostels would provide in this century. The TV in our rooms were down too and it took them so long to come to a decision of changing our rooms that have functional TV (initially they told us to wait for their TV repair man to arrive to fix the TV issues which was ridiculous as it was already late evening and the resort rooms were barely filled with customers, hence changing of rooms should not be an issue). Overall, we do not think we will go back again for another experience.

房间面积挺大，两个1.8米宽大床，其实睡4个人都足够。住宿送温泉票，下雨天泡汤很舒适。农场里面餐厅东西虽然不多，但味道很好。很适合带孩子，非常满意，

晚上睡覺安靜，早餐吃完後餐廳後面有草原可以看羊跟麝香豬奔跑～很棒，住宿的小木屋旁還有溫泉設施，這次天氣不冷所以沒去體驗

農場很棒~ 可惜小木屋的隔音超糟的, 為什麼要兩間兩間比鄰建造? 又不把地板分隔呢? 隔壁住了精力旺盛的小孩, 跑跑跳跳的聲音, 讓我們快要抓狂!! 想駡人!! 出去一探是否其他木屋都住滿? 沒有!! 空房一堆, 怎麼就不會分散住房呢? 笨~ 太爛了~唉~ 美中不足啊~
