Owner very helpful upon check-in. Clean and spacious room. Like the cosy deco and this minsu provides best breakfast we had after staying in various hotels in Taiwan. Location is 5 mins walk to nearby night market.

Absolutely recommended ”

Pros: great location near night market and downtown, absolutely amazing hosts speaking very good English so easy to communicate. Tours can be booked through the hosts and taxis at a cheaper rate. Got lots of recommendations for things to do, eat and how to get there. Breakfast is homemade and very yummy and changing every day. Cons: having to leave :(

Best getaway from the hustle and bustle of big cities”

This is my second stay at this B&B and it is really one of my top accommodations, definitely most value for money, across all my trips and I have travelled quite a bit. Hualien by itself is a wonderful place with amazing scenery and this B&B is just the icing on the cake. The hosts, two wonderful young ladies, are most committed to making your stay a really comfortable one. They will help plan your itinerary if you don't have one. The rooms are beautiful and clean, with really comfortable beds. There are washing machine and dryer in case you would like to do some laundry. Location wise, it's near to the big night market and also the sea, so you really can't ask for more. The breakfast made by the hosts is also really delicious and an amazing start to the day. Just can't wait to go back again and stay longer!

Nice room”

Overall the stay is good, friendly host and nice environment, walking distance to the seaside to watch sunrise. The room has a 2-door refrigerator to store your food. The blanket is too thick- feels hot although when the air-cond is turned on. No lift, may need to carry the luggage up to 3rd floor.

Overall it was a pleasant stay. Hosts were very friendly offering us any sort of help that they can offer. Kudos to the cleanliness of the premise. It is also a very unique minsu with a very cute theme suitable for couples and families with small children

One of the best accommodation ever ”

This is one of the most comfortable accommodation that I had ever. The hosts were simply excellent and went out of their way to make sure everything detail and request was taken care of, including planning my itinerary in hualien everyday, making sure I get breakfast every morning. There is strong wifi and also washing machine for laundry if necessary. The place is also at an excellent location, 2mins walk to seaside, 5mins walk to rainbow night market, 10mins walk to centre centre. I also had a room with bathtub and balcony, so really a nice place to relax when I was back in the lodge. Anyway, special compliments to the hosts for being so wonderful and caring. Will definitely want to visit them again if I have the chance.

It was a stay with the rainbow b&b, we stayed there for 3 nights, 10 mins walk to the city center and 5 mins walk to the costal area. The host was very helpful and friendly and gave us many good recommendation on local restaurants and day tour, they also offered help to book taxi and train tix. Very nice homemade breakfast too, we will definitely go back and recommend to friends who visit Hualien

Cosy place”

B&B- they have done both bed and breakfast well. The room was cosy and clean, which I would love to have. The breakfast was made by the owner's mom, based on the time that you wake up. Home-prepared meals by mothers seldom goes wrong.

Felt Like Home”

Stayed in the 3 people room, the entire home was sparkling clean and gives off home welcoming vibes. The homestay is located 10 mins from the city center which makes it very convenient, rental of the bicycles/umbrellas are free. But I think the main selling point would be the human factor. Miss Yang (owner) and her mom makes good breakfast (sandwich with fruits). Miss Yang is helpful and will recommend you places for sightseeing or eating. She is also attentive, offered to change an item in my breakfast for another as I don't take salad. She also helped to book our cab for our return trip to Taipei, arranged a day's tour of Taroko Gorge, and asked us feedback on the tour guide. I would recommend this homestay in Hualien.

Pleasant Stay”

The owner of minsu is very helpful. We requested laundry service and she recommends that we put it in the washing machine before we head to the famous Night Market, she will then help us to put it in the dryer so we can have our clean clothes when back in minsu. She served very good breakfast!! With 5 different type of fruits nicely cut, fresh salad servings and a delicious sandwich. If you are traveling in a group of 6 persons, this minsu will be recommended as they have a family room that can sleeps 6 persons comfortably with a very reasonable price.

Great local homestay close to night market”

Very pleasant stay, just like local taiwan home. Breakfast are freshly prepared by owner herself in kitchen. Each room are uniquely design and very well equip just like a hotel. Located very near to the beach and night market. Definately worth the price paid.

The homestay was fantastic with friendly and helpful owner. Shops for snacks and food recommended by owner is really great. The availability of bicycles for use at no charge adds much enjoyment to the stay. The location of Sweetrainbow B&B is central to nearby park, coastline and city area (15 mins by foot, 5 mins by bicycle).
