First time Taipei”
About 40min from TPE with no traffic. Taxi ride $40-$60USD. Our tour guide set us up with someone for $33 ($1000NT). Near MRT red line which goes from elephant mountain/Taipei 101 to the wharf, safe area, very attentive staff, great breakfast selection, snacks, water, lobby coffee maker for latte, cappuccino, americano, etc..., nice robe and slippers in room, good water pressure for showers, found snack drawer on last day in room with chips, crackers, and cookies, and fresh plate of fruit in room on first day. USB connections near bed and desk. Small workout room with weights, treadmill, stationary bike, and elliptical on top floor. You access it by walking up the stairs after you exit top floor of elevator. All this was included. Tons of eating places near hotel. Held luggage for us after checkout till 8:30pm. Lobby bathroom, snacks, and coffee while we waited for our driver. Definitely will stay again.

Better service than the Hyatt”
I have to say the service was amazing. A four star hotel that provided a 10 star service. Prior to coming here we were staying at the Hyatt for 3 nights and decided to save some money so we checked in here. The room is very clean and the service was just superb.

We stayed in the 3-bed room, surprisingly bigger in size than I'd anticipated. The hotel is clean and well maintained. Good variety of buffet breakfast and 24/7 free refreshment at the cozy lobby lounge are worth mentioning. We had a wonderful stay there and will definitely consider to stay here on our next trip to Taipei.

Highly recommended”
Excellent hotel. The room we got is nice and clean with a good bathroom size, and with window!! Close to MRT station (~3 mins walk), convenient shops, cafe and shops etc. Overall, we are very with the stay at this hotel. Highly recommended, will return next time!

Great hotel with slight flaws”
The hotel is wonderfully situated. It’s only one minute from the Da An train station. And the vicinity is filled with tons of amenities and food outlets for anytime of the day and night. The staffs were very approachable and helpful making the stay superb. The hotel also has a well decorated and conducive spot for meet-ups and discussion, fitting the purpose of my trip. However, the complementary breakfast can be further improved on the quantity, quality and variety fronts. The gym facilities are totally unacceptable. It is ill-equipped and gives some the impression that it’s set-up just for fulfilling the purpose of having a gym. I’m a frequent business traveler and the quality of the gym is rather important to me. But this gym has really been the most disappointing of it all. Other than these, I would say that I had enjoyed my stay with the hotel and would definitely recommend it to others either for leisure or business.

Great hotel”
Good location- easy to find, many eateries around the hotel, VERY CLEAN, excellent customer service(so helpful & good communication skill), buffet breakfast is delicious- table spread may not extensive but certainly sufficient & complete; continental & asian. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Will definitely go back!

good location. near the mrt , kind staffs one thing disadvantage was sauna open hours, it opens for women from 4to7 pm which is most of travelers can't be returned to the hotel at that moment.

Great service”
The room was very clean and well fitted and the hotel itself very clean. Great coffee service at the lobby for free 24 hours a day. Staff were super friendly all the time and helpful. Located in the center of town and thus can walk to most places. Great place to stay for our holiday.

Great except the cleaning staff”
Was put next to the Staff room (cleaning staff). Woken up by them chatting since 6:15am, trying to get back to sleep but they kept chatting every 15 minutes or so until 8:30am! I was drifting in and out of my sleep because of that so finally at 8:30am I opened my door and they immediately closed their staff room door! I went back inside and waited and then they started to talk again this time I jumped out so they could not close their door in time and the cleaning lady was peeping out to me! I was furious and told her off in mandarin - she apologised. But this is unacceptable! My hope to sleep in on a vacation in a nice hotel was ruined by these inconsiderate cleaning staff who chatted on the top of their voice non stop!

The Window need to be clean up”
Location are great, very close to mrt station, surrounding by restaurant. Easy to get taxi, the Main Street is just in front of the hotel. The breakfast was ok. The room was clean. The only thing need to be improve is the window of the room is full of dirt, can’t even see the view outside clearly. I requested Large bed, they combined two single beds, very uncomfortable when you lay on the gap, even though the bed itself is very comfortable.

Super comfortable ”
This hotel with rooms and lobby well decorated. Room size is just right. It is near to Daan metro stn (5mins walk). Staffs were friendly n efficient. Mini bar's drinks and tibits are free and at the lobby you may help yourself with tea, coffee n cookies. The gym is really tiny, however they have a japanese hot n cold bath + sauna n steam bath to help u to relax the body. Only that there is a schedule time for male/female sharing. I would return to stay again.

Nice room”
Had a room on the upper floor and it was a great view! The room was clean and comfortable, a bit small but it is fine for a city trip! Breakfast was a bit chaotic, no enough seating for all guests and the breakfast is very dark. But for a quick toast it was fine. Location is just 3mins from MRT station Daan, and walking distance to Daan Park is maybe 10 minutes :) also i saw the 101 from my bedroom!

Comfortable stay”
The room was clean enough, location was near from Daan station (less than five min walk). Good to have a mix of eateries behind the alleys - very local ones & trendy cafes. Lucky to have a good view of 101 building in the room. We decided to skip breakfast in the hotel after the first day as it was a bit disappointing (e.g. selection of foods, seatings, no water etc.) Overall, still good value for money.

Nice place for a trip in Taipei”
Only good things to say about this place: - attentive staff - very clean room - nice breakfast (until 10am which is nice and not common) - very good location at the heart of Taipei and close to a MRT station (Daan) It is not a budget but it worth it.
