Excellent place and wonderful staff”
Stayed here for 4 nights for the New Year's. The staff and managers were very accommodating, welcoming, and kind. The room was pretty clean and spacious -- and this is coming from a person that is very OC on cleanliness. Breakfast options was great. Location was accessible, walking distance to MRT and bus. Nearby to a park where you can go for a walk, jog, chill / relax, and with a neighboring foodcourt. You'll see parents with kids, people with their pets, and seniors chilling around the park, it's a very homey community. Had a superb experience here and would stay here again next time we visit Taipei.

The hotel itself is a great facility with clean, spacious rooms. The staff were friendly and helpful. The location is amazing! Its walking distance to the metro (MRT) and there is a weekend farmers market by the station that is a must!

Nice Staff, Hotel building seemed to have some history but absolutely clean and tidy. Convenient Stores are just steps away. Train station and bus stops are 10 mins away, good for leisure travellers who allows some walking time Definitely will recommend to others

All staff were amazing from the front office to the doormen, housekeeping ! They all had amazing & professional attitudes they gave us honest and reliable information on what to do during our stay and were very friendly complying with all our requests. All staff were amazing however Jack (doorman) was very helpful with our daily trips around the city and other attractions. definitely a future option !

Appears to be a slightly older-styled hotel, but well-maintained. Parking is convenient, and I was lucky to get parking each day I was staying at the hotel. Friendly staff willing to help and be of service. Will be staying here again in a couple of weeks!

No problems overall. About 10 minutes walk away from the nearest MRT station. Clean rooms. Helpful, friendly staff. BAD breakfast! Do NOT pay extra for the breakfast. Do NOT eat the breakfast if it’s included. There are so many more delicious dining options in Taipei. Don’t waste your stomach capacity.

An Experience Worth Remembering”
Discovered Riviera Hotel through Agoda. I like the fresh look and smell of our room although the hotel is not new. it is well maintained and bear the classy design. Staff are very friendly and responsive. I had an accident in one of our trips and the officer on duty went out of her way to make me comfortable and apply first aid on my wound. this is alone im very thankful. My only complain is the noise on the next room, like heavy bed or cabinet are moved at night.

The hotel would have been perfect but it's location is not near the MRT and the shopping district. You have to walk 8-10 mins to get to the nearest station. However, the hotel provides free shuttle to some tourist spots but on a limited schedule. Cab costs an average of NT$250 within the city. The staff are very polite and nice. Rooms are clean. Limited choice of breakfast.

Pros: allows early check-in if room is available, helpful bag man, near convenient stores, near tourist attractions, free shuttle to attractions, generous with toiletries. The bag man helped us call and translate in Chinese our booked ride. We really appreciate the gesture. Because of nice staff, I would still recommend Riviera. Cons: We could not sleep well because of itching, the inner bed sheet is itchy. We sleept on top of the comforter and used the robes as blanket. We had bite marks in the morning.

Stuffy service - good location ”
We stayed here on our return trip to Taipei because of the location. The hotel is adjacent to the Flora Expo Park and very close to the Songshun Airport. The room was small and ordinary but had a nice view of the park. The staff was formal but not particularly welcoming or helpful. During our stay, I tried to print a document from the business center, supposedly staffed, but the printer wasn’t working. The woman at the front desk offered to print it for me but said there was a 40 TWD charge. Fine. I paid her. Yet, when I checked out the charge was on my bill. It seemed to me to be a hotel for business people on expense accounts. Not necessarily a place I would seek out again.
