The owner lacks integrity. Room was dirty, he refused to get the bathroom cleaned, sheets were dirty and then eventually he charged more money than he proposed while checking in. Don't recommend staying here.

This place was one of the worst place where they had not maintained the property at all when informed they say we just have these options and we cannot do anything we booked for 2 days and we had to checkout the very next day! Breakfast was also very bad

Good Place outside city with bad maintenance”

I really liked the location of the place. I had booked Deluxe room for a day's stay here, the place looked neat and clean, but lacked the facilities. The free Wifi only connects when you are in reception area. there was no running hot water at the cottage, I had to request for hot water to get that in buckets. there was a small sit out area outside the room. I could not use it due to problem with the bulb outside the cottage. There was no dish connection for the TV. The breakfast provided was okay. All in All it was a bad experience. I would not recommend this place. you can find many more good places to stay in this range.

Pathetic and horrendous experience. ”

We had booked the wooden cottage which is ok. We were a group of 3 girls. Firstly, since we had a 12 pm check in,we were promised a room to atleast freshen up a bit. When we came here at 5:30am, it wasn't available. We were like, no issues not a big deal. Then we left to explore the city at 7:30 am. Came back at 1 pm and our room was still not ready. Then we got a room at 1:30 which wasn't the one we booked. We had booked a wooden cottage and we got a simple room with 30+ DRUNK men partying right outside our door. Even after all this, the manager Srinivas was not owning up to his mistakes and was not ready for anything. Fought left right center with the owner Phanindra and then we were moved to our booked wooden cottage and were offered free stuff like dinner and lunch. Next day there was no electricity in the room so wifi was down due to some issues and there was no backup provided. Whispering woods service sucks big time! The only thing I am glad about that I had spoken to the owner Phanindra well in advance and could contact him on time, if not then Srinivas would not have done anything

Repenting choosing this hotel for my stay”

No ceiling fan in my room in a humid weather, I stay there for two days with TV in not working condition , And No Intercom. No power backup, There is a power faliar in the night need i say any thing more .

Out in the wilderness”

This lovely little place out in the wilderness with no access to mobile phone network is in a serene location with various plantations all around it is really worth staying in for at least a couple of nights if not more. The owner of the home stay hotel - Karthik and his family stay in the same complex and is a very interesting guy who will even take you around the area in his car for a reasonable fee. He was very helpful with advice on what to buy and from where as well as on what to eat and where. We had a splendid time with him and enjoyed our stay at his place a lot. Would highly recommend this place to anyone who enjoys the peace and quiet of this tranquil spot in the middle of lush green hills and plantations.

Thinking before booking”

Request Agoda to check on the facility before listing out, as you show something but reality is different. We trust Agoda recommendation and consider our option for stay. Location of the Facility is ok but conditions are not good for family stay and value for money is nil. I don't know what to say more than this, i am just controlling my anger while writing. Thank you and will definitely think twice to book.

Best stay for the money at the nearby locations for sightseeing”

Pros: Kind and best staff. Very calm and serene place to be. Value for money rooms. Tasty food. Friendly atmosphere. Personal BBQ. Good WiFi speed even though your personal network is down. They can arrange car for all sightseeing locations. Cons: Not easy to reach this place if you are driving by yourself. Sound proofing for rooms are not that great. Verdict: Surely will recommend this place to family and friends. Budget friendly, kind staff members and calm place and good food makes it a winner.

Staff was good but they lacked in providing amenities. We had to ask them for glasses, hand soap, hand towel, etc. Breakfast was nice. Karthik helped me a lot with pre boarding to coorg. WiFi was a problem. There was no WiFi access inside the villa which I was not told about. The listing mentions WiFi. There was no cable to see the television, upon informing they had it set up in 30 minutes. Location is like 5 km away from the main medikeri road. A lot of greenery around villa. They can do much better if WiFi is provided and all the things that we asked for would have been provided before hand.

Worst experience”

Cancelled 1 room out of 4 booked rooms, before the cancellation period as per hotel policy. Given 3 rooms only and confirmed that refund of 1 room will be processed. Later denied refund. Cheat staff; can't be trusted.

Peaceful stay”

Just one drawback. It's a no network zone. Which means their is no signal on your phone. Unfortunately when we were staying the Wi-Fi was also not working. Rest, everything was great. The response from the staff was very quick, the breakfast was yummy. It's located just 6 kms from center and a very peaceful stay.

Rooms and specially bathrooms are clean and maintained. Breakfast is not that great but considering the price that we pay,I feel it's ok only.
