Singburi may not be a tourist hotbed but it does provide a great little escape from Bangkok. Several people and I attended a wedding there and Rungaroon Resort was the recommended accommodation in the area. The rooms have rustic character and we saw at least three different types that were uniquely designed. Bungalow #1 is especially cool. The bungalows also have porches or balconies overlooking the pond. The restaurant had really nice food which we had delivered to our room at no extra charge. Rungaroon Resort could easily be a place for couples looking for a quick, quiet getaway but could also be a place for large groups looking for a weekend party. The staff were also very helpful.

Quiet bungalow ”
Average rating for the stay. Breakfast was good, but served cool to your bungalow. The bungalow floor had wide cracks in the floor which would allow bugs to enter. Rustic look and located far from town. It would be very hard to find at night. Accepts dogs. Would only stay there again if I could not find another place that accepts dogs in the Sing Buri area.

omg i'm in luv with this resort!! i cant believe it that i found this resort in singburi.it was nice and comfy. i felt at home. i got my own small house next to the lake. at the back of my room was like rice paddy field. oh and the food and booze were awesome. totally i will come back again :d trump up rungaroonresort....cheers

Really relaxing stay”
We stay in this resort to join my friend wedding. Our stay was really lovely, room was nice and view was absolutely amazing- the same as the resort. It is large area with nice and private rooms- which look like cute houses, plus the second part it is a river side restaurant. You will be amazed by surrounding at day and at night time- with lots of lights. This resort is really romantic place to rest.

Perfect place to relax”
People who look for a place to relax for a weekend countryside not far away from Bangkok should try Rungarun Resort. It's a great spot for fishing, eating and recreation. The staff is friendly and you can stay for yourself without getting disturbed. For active travellers there are a couple of temples nearby which are worth to visit. Good value for your money.

Scenic hotel with friendly staff”
It's a simple hotel in Thai style along the main road. For the price level it's very good, with a fully stocked minibar, good aircon and comfortable bed. They bring breakfast to your room in the morning. Make sure to specify what you like as they offer thai food too, not just toast and egg. Only downsides were weak flow in the shower and we had the room at far end out of reach of the wifi.

Quiet houses by a pond ”
The hotel is about 10 km. from Singburi province and few km. to Promburi, a small community by Chao Phaya River. Just next door is a restaurant and fishing park running by the same owner. The old phase is built by wood; therefore quiet smelling. If you like new house built by concrete, please request for those in the inner area. All houses are by the pond. Good choice for a quiet place in rural area and if you have your own transportation.

Good little find”
Simply put, this is a place where you can chill out. It's a short, two minute walk around the pond to the restaurant but if that's too much for you then you can just have them deliver the food to your bungalow at no extra charge. Chances are you'd be fine with staying at your bungalow with it's view of the pond (which you can also fish). The room had a cabin/cottage feel but also included satellite TV and air conditioning. The bathroom had a beautiful tropical tile design. I also found the staff to be very helpful. Clean, quiet and good value for the money.

Nice view and quiet place foe relax”
Not easy to find staff, office always open without security. Room need to be repair (windows, door...) wood is very old....Breakfast including in the room. No breakfast menu in morning at the restaurant (thai food only) and they charge us 95.00 B (I don't know why).

Ruhig gelegen am Fischteich”
Ohne Auto ist die Lage natürlich nicht so toll. Es ist weit und breit zu Fuß nix zu erreichen. Hat man ein Auto dabei ist die Lage ein Traum. Schön ruhig an einem kleinen See gelegen. Ohne den üblichen Lärm der in Asien an jeder Ecke droht. Unbedingt die sehr guten Fischgerichte probieren. Man ist ja nicht umsonst an einem Fischingpark. Frühstück gibt es in thailändischer Form von Suppe oder Reisgerichte. Für mich vollkommen ausreichend.
