It's a very simple ryokan and comfort doesn't get high marks in that area. I felt as if it were an overpriced youth hostel. There is no private shower or toilet and the eating facilities are very simple. I would suggest using Matsue as a better base to explore the area, which is quite nice and has much to offer

Nice ryokan”
This was our second time staying at this ryokan. When everything seems like it's filled up in Yonago or Matsue, this little gem is always available. The staff is super nice, and it's a little funny to see them fret over us (even when I speak Japanese to them). There is a traditional Japanese breakfast, in which I can't eat certain parts of, but the rest of it is pretty good. It's also right next to the Yasugi train station if you aren't driving or if you want to train it to your destination. I highly recommend this ryokan ^_^

Adachi Museum accomodation”
This small ryokan, 1 min walk from the train station, is ideal if you are going to visit the fabulous Adachi Museum. Their free shuttle bus leaves from the station. The room was spacious, internet worked fine, the Japanese bath was relaxing at the end of the day. One can have dinner there, in addition to the included Japanese breakfast, but we didn't eat there. It is located two hours north of Okayama, about 3-4 hours from Kyoto by train.

Great place to stay when visiting The Adachi.”
Going to restaurants in this town is tricky as it is very Japanese without English menus. Quick train ride into Matsue. Good place to base yourself for multiple trips to The Adachi Museum and Gardens.

Very kind host and a cozy room”
I love this Ryokan hotel, even though host can not english well, however they have warm heart. I like Japanese traditional free breakfast and cosy traditional room.

この地に赴任の際に新居に引っ越す前の仮住まいとして２泊お世話になりました。 美味しい朝食に感激しました。 急いで車を買わなければいけない状況を説明したところ、娘さんの旦那さんが務めている 車のディーラーまで車で送ってくれました。

따뜻한 마음을 지닌 료칸”
야스기역에서 매우 가까운 거리에 있어 이동이 매우 편리합니다. 저희를 위해서 특별히 좋은룸을 내어주셨으며, 매우 친절하게 대해주심에 하루를 묵었지만 좋았습니다. 아침조식역시 매우 정갈한 음식이고 맛도 좋았습니다. 일본어를 하지못해서 주인부부내외와 많은 대화를 하지못해 아쉬운 마음이 가득했습니다. 체크아웃을 하고 나오는 길에 역으로 가는 내내 손을 흔들어 주시며, 인사를 해주셔 감사했습니다. 이후 아다치미술관에 가기위해 셔틀버스를 타는 저희가 료칸을 지날때에 역시 부부내외가 나와서 인사를 해주셔서 저희부부는 감동을 받았습니다. 감사합니다. 이후에 또 방문하여 좋은시간을 보낼 계획입니다.
