Excellent”
Nice, authentic and traditional ryokan. Breakfast and dinner was great! Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Free parking available. Room is nice and warm in winter but toilet, shower room and some parts of the corridor feels cold. Alittle disappointed with the Onsen as it was basic and lacklustre for a ryokan. Was asked to pay an additional 300 yen upon check out despite that I have made full prepayment with agoda. Did not ask for reason as I was in a rush.

Dirty, unkept ryokan. Stay elsewhere”
The tatami was dirty and unkempt. The sliding doors and walls were also damaged (holes, tears) with stains. Really gross. No hot water in the bathroom, came out ice cold. Even after running the water for several minutes, still ice cold. Long walk to outside rotenburo

Nice ryokan and good service”
Very nice people in this ryokan and they were so accommodating and willing to help. Ambience is superb with nice nolstagic and cultural elements. Last but not least, dinner and breakfast were excellent and the service was top rated. It's a ryokan for local tourists so communications might be an issue if you can't speak Japanese though. But this is the real beauty of staying in a ryokan.

Fabulous place, worth way more than we paid”
We were so shocked by how beautiful, not mention huge, this place and our room was. Having paid comparable rates in other parts of Japan for much, much smaller rooms and in places with far lower quality standards, I was legitimately concerned at first I had made a mistake with the reservation! The service in particular was above and beyond, I cannot say enough about the helpfulness and friendliness of all the staff (thank you especially to Abe-san). The breakfast was fairly normal (albeit delicious), but the dinner was phenomenal--truly a treat. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a true relaxing and luxurious experience, and sincerely hope to be back myself in the future.

Great food, great staffs”
It's a memorable stay in Chikurin Tei Mizuho. You will have your dinner at room. The food are great with different type of Japanese food. However, the staffs' English quality are not good, you may find difficult to communicate if you can't speak any Japanese words. Also, there's not enough instruction on the public bath opening hours. We want to go to the public bath after breakfast but it was closed for cleaning. Neverthe, if you want to try a local Japanese hotel, it can be one of your good choice.

Great for budget travellers! Not the best for those who value cleanliness and service”
Arrived at 6pm in the evening and there was no one at the front desk. Waited in the reception area for 5 minutes before looking around the place for anyone. Had to stand by the kitchen to wait for someone to pass and was ignored even whilst calling out to staff in the kitchen. Headed back to the lounge area and by this point, twenty to thirty minutes have passed and still no one was at the front desk. After 35 minutes, a staff member appeared and welcomed us but did not apologize. The room was generally clean and rustic; really had the traditional ryokan vibe. With that also came the damaged chairs and stained floors but the old vibe does appeal to some people. There was a broken window placed by the chairs on our balcony. Not sure what it was for. Tried to take a shower before heading to the onsen but there was no hot water so we called the front desk (I speak fluent Japanese, they do not speak English) and they said to wait for 10 minutes and to turn both the faucet for the shower and the tub for the hot water to run faster. It was lukewarm after twenty minutes and we managed to take a shower. The outdoor and indoor onsens were stunning and beautiful. There was no one else but my friend and I and the whole look was very rustic. The lounge area for the outdoor bath was very high-end and looked completely different from the main building; almost as though a different designer was in charge. It looked flawless. Once in the outdoor bath, we rinsed ourselves but... was greeted by a cockroach skittering by the wash area. On the bottles of soap. Otherwise, the onsen bath was perfect and we had a good night's rest.

First time in a ryokan ”
It was our first time in a ryokan and it was lovely! The staff was very kind, helpful and made this experience amazing :) Both dinner and breakfast were tasty. We had the chance to wear traditional kimono and take a bath in the onsen. We will always remember this awesome experience 🙏 We highly recommend this ryokan!

agodaで評判の高い順に並べて予算にあった旅館というところで予約を入れました。ホームページで見た時は本館きこりは築年数が古そうなので、正直期待はしていなかったのですが、建物の手入れはきちんとされていて古いながらの風情もあり、山梨らしい歴史的展示や懐かしい展示品もあり古き良き旅館でありながら、トイレの消毒設備やお風呂の清掃やお部屋の空気洗浄機など衛生的な近代設備はきちんと整備されておりコロナ対策も目に見える形できっちりとされていました。何より、食事の際に親切に説明してくださったり、駐車場まで荷物を運んでくれたり、チェックアウトする直前でもポットに冷たいお水の氷を入れ替えてくれる従業員さんたちの細かい心遣いが素晴らしいと思いました。平日でもありコロナの為もあると思いますが、新館瑞穂はおそらく宿泊客はいなかったようなのですが、新館の露天風呂も利用できるようにしてくださった心遣いにも感謝です。また山梨に宿泊する時にはぜひ宿泊したい旅館です。

初めて、宿泊しましたが、いい宿だと思います。最新というわけではありませんが、味のある宿です。 朝食付きに、しましたが、美味しく、量も十分でした。都合で夕食は、無しに、しましたが、期待できるのでは、 と思います。 欲を言うと、和食でしたが、コーヒーがあると、なお、良かったと思います❗ 浴室も、タイブの違う風呂があり、楽しめました。他の設備も色々あり、従業員の、方もいい人ばかりでした。 また、機会があれば、泊まりたいと思います‼️

旅館は駅から車で10分程ですが、シャトルでの送迎があり助かりました。部屋もお風呂も清潔で気持ち良く過ごせました。スタッフの方々も親切でした。お土産屋さんがイマイチだったかな。それ以外はお料理も含めて大満足です！
