Room is not warm enough(terrible)”
Don’t come to visit during winter season especially you have kids or young children. The reason is that the air conditioner is not working properly and the room is really cold at night time. Onset bath and dinner quality is good however.

A wonderful stay in Yufuin!”
It is a very neat, clean and beautifal Ryokan at a reasonable price. Welcoming staff and delisious dinner and breakfast is also a plus. Even though it has a bit away from the main road, it was not difficult at al to find its location. Besides, a big supermarket, gourmet city, is nearby, so we could get yummy Japanese snacks and beer. I'd like to recommend this Ryokan those who are searching for a perfect place which makes thier holiday perfect at a affordable price.

Everything are best”
This Ryokan is the best Ryokan even I’ve been in Japan. I stayed few Ryokans in different area and never can beat this Ryokan’s service and facilities. Staffs are very very friendly and kind. Room was very clean and onsen was awesome. It was my family trip and my parents were really satisfy with everything. We had 2 meals and both are very delicious. I give 5 of 5 and will visit again with my friends.

Fantastic find”
We thought it was the nicest ryokan we had ever stayed at. The architecture of the cottages was very Japanese. The interiors were very comfortable with nice toilets. We thoroughly enjoyed the food. A great way for the family to have a true Japanese experience.

(1)Hotel environment good Japanese garden style & feel. (2)Excellent food both in quality & quantity. (3)Hot spa pretty traditional Japanese environment & feel. Private, quite & comfortable. (4)Room is clean & tidy. (5)Overall staff service is good with clear communications in simple English instructions (in writing + simple oral English). Overall will highly recommend to my friends.

Excellent Services and Experience”
The staff is so nice and provide good service to us. In the dining session, the staff will introduce the food items one by one to you politely. Whenever you have requests, just call them and they always satisfy you. Of course, other than services, the food is also very delicious. The most impressive part is that the staff speak our mother language to ask us whether the food is tasty or not. We have never told them we came from Hong Kong but they knew that we spoke Cantonese to us. For the Family Spring baths and Public Spring bath, both of them are excellent too. Family Spring baths give us privacy and closed environment to relax, while Public Spring bath is like a paradise. One more thing, if you ready enjoy Spring Bath, you can definitely try the Family Spring baths with Spy Function. Add 1000 JPY to enjoy this Family Spring Bath but definitely worth it. An impressive memory for you to try this bath.

The service is really excellent. The staffs are very friendly and helpful. And the food is very delicious. The room is clean. However, the distance is quite far, you need to walk about 8 min to JR station and 15 min to 金鱗湖 (but the river view is quite good)。

Stunning views and facilities ”
The individual Cheltenham type rooms were nice with great views. The outdoor onsen are excellent. But the small family onsen mean that you can relax together as a couple. Very relaxing. An easy stroll to town or the lake (pond).

Great service, great host/staff, helpful, friendly and patient, smiling all the time. Good location with private carpark free of charge. Food was simple but tasty, public onsen was clean but rather basic. Private houses were great and spacious, very clean and tidy, with nice public gardens outside, very nice atmosphere.

Everything exceed our expectation! Excellent location - closed to the city centre (few minutes walk from the high street). Helpful and Friendly Staffs - always ask if we need help. Nice and hygiene Onsen - tidy and secured places for private and family onsen. Superb Foods - Dinner and Breakfast included to furnish the stay.

Beautiful, welcoming, and delicious”
We enjoyed our stay very much. For Westerners, it would be nice to have some Western additions to the Japanese breakfasts -- such as fruit, juice, and toast. But aside from that the food was great.

Old traditional Japanese village layout, beautiful Japanese garden well cared for. Very quite and beautiful outside bath. Best for downtime from the busy city life wish I could have stayed longer
