Very relaxing at the hotel, and experience Japanese style futons, and fine meals.”
We enjoyed staying at Tsubaki. The employee were nice and polite, and the view from the room was impressing; most important is the hot spring and hard ware were incredible. We glad we choose Tsubaki, and it worth every penny; the cuisine is delicious. Highly recommend! Just a heads up the hotel is not near Yufuin station about 10mins driving. You can ask hotel to pickup before the trip by mail (English is not easy to communicate).

Nice place to stay, excellent food!”
I and my friends stayed for 1 night with dinner and breakfast included. It was a nice place to stay, the room was clean, the place was quiet, staff was very polite and helpful. Food included was excellent, especially the dinner. Price was not cheap but I guess it's generally expensive in Yufuin for hotels with Onsen.

Quiet villa with private hot spring”
We spent one night at this hotel. The hotel is located in a very quiet area a long way away from the centre of Yufuin. We stayed in one of the villas overlooking Mountain Yufuin. It was a pleasant stay as the facility was relatively new and the rooms were specious. The lady at the hotel told us that the rooms were refubished after the earthquake in 2016 although no serious damages were found. We enjoyed the private hot spring inside the villa very much. We had a dip in the hot spring before dinner and had another round before we slept. It was totally relaxing. The hotel charged a reasonable price and it was totally worth it.

The environment is super relaxing and comfortable. Staff are very nice and can speak Mandarin. Dinner and breakfast worth the price. They offer transportation to Yufuin station after check-out.

Relax and recharge”
This is a quiet inn about 10 minutes’ drive from Yufuin town. No shops but instead gorgeous views of the countryside with Mount Yufu looming over everything, as seem from our maisonette and the attached onsen bath. Suitable for travelers who wish for a relaxing time with loved ones far from the madding crowd. Food was great, service excellent.

I liked it in general”
Facilities are perfect, and i liked the hotel in general .... but the thing is staff was a bit odd. I presume this place is family owned, and they were very hospitable but it was a bit strange in a wag they talked to me sometimes. I do not know if it's about language difference. There was only one staff who could speak english, and he would not remember my name when my mom and i checked out, although there were only like 5 guests in total staying at the time. I mean, he was asking me if i paid the bill (i did pay in advance through agoda, the whole price) but the older butler already knew that i paid bec i booked through agoda, and he said we were okay. The thing is, the eglish speaking staff was insisting i need to pay the bill while showing the bill under someone else's name... i'm like what..? 🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄 anyway we had pleasant time (but i do not recommend the massage you can get in your room - my mom had one but she didnt like it... although masseur was super kind) still i do not understand if the staff was rude or not.. he was very ambiguous... rather than unkind lol it was more like passive aggressiveness.

Private onsen with spacious room”
Beautiful scenery at every angle of the room! Moreover, the private onsen attached to the room was facing the mountain, adding to the experience. The meals were served personally course by course in the restaurant area, not in the room. But it was still very comfortable as the partitioned space provided at the dining area is spacious. We thought that certain dishes served were just okay, just meeting expectation, but this gotta do with one's palette. Overall, a highly recommended accommodation!

Reasonable price and nice staffs”
You will have your own hot spring inside your room. The hot spring quality is good. The hotel staffs are nice. The food is nice as well. Easy to get there by driving your own car. But the location is hard to find. It is hard for you to get there by public transport. But you can ask the staffs to pick you up from the train station. Remember there are no public hot spring. You will have your own hot spring in your room

Staff is nice to provide pick up service from the JR station, the location is a bit far but pretty and private. The room is good with pretty scene and unexpectedly large, with 2 floors (upper floor is the living room and bottom floor is bathroom with private Onsen). The dinner is good with wagu beef but the breakfast should provide more variety of food. Overall a very happy stay and will return for the stay again in our future trip.

Nice and private, somewhere you would like to be quite in a busy tie ”
Our package is including dinner and breakfast. It is difficult with people do not like fish. Nearly all dishes including breakfast were fish even there are different kind of fish and fresh. I have experienced other Onsen with combination of Japanese and Western type of breakfast. HOwever it was a pleasant staying there.

Fantastic food and service! The location is a bit far away from Yunotsubo Street but it is absolutely fine for us since we were driving to the area so we can stay away from the crowd. We enjoyed our stay very much.
