This ryokan is not far from yufuin station. It was about 10mins walk from station. We were given a room that facing the mountain view. Spacious room. Good wifi. Breakfast was provided and you got to choose either 7.30am or 8am breakfast time. Upon checking in, the owner will allow you to choose your own private onsen time. They have three private onsen for you to enjoy. You will have 50mins private onsen time with you love one. The weather was a bit chilling at night and it was totally good for onsen bath. I tried once at morning and the other on at night at different onsens in the hotel. The only drawback was the room didn't have shower room but to share on ground floor or take your shower after your private onsen. Otherwise, this hotel is super good location and it is only 20mins walk to lake kinrin. A must to visit the lake at early morning to witness its morning mist! You can leave your luggage after check out.

Had a great view from the room Hagi. This ryokan didn't serve dinner and only a handful of restaurants were open after 6pm. Fortunately, there was a huge supermarket a couple of minutes away. Bought some ready to eat meals, beer and something to munch on(great quality btw) and had dinner watching the village from our room. Room was clean, price was affordable, and the owners friendly. Will definitely stay at this ryokan again.

Wonderful staff and nice city view”
Ryukan Yuri staffs are very nice and gave us wonderful service. I made a reservation for private onsen for our couple. It was quite cozy and clean, we had a nice time there. And the room view was city view. We could see the yufu mountain at the balcony :) I'm very satisfied with the room condition and others too! Highly recommend Ryukan yuri!

The host of this hot spring hotel is very nice, he solve our problem try hardly. The room and privacy hot spring room are very clean and comfortable. We will choice this hotel again if we come back Yufuin !!!!

Small cozy ryokan near to Yufuin station”
Small family run ryokan retaining much the local japanese culture. Easy access from Yufuin train station. Next to it is Maxvalu supermarket that open till 11pm good for getting snack to fill up the night.Most of the shopping street shop closes early.Ryokan provide the option of private onsen slot for about 50 mins. Breakfast serve if opted for one is local japanese dishes. Good value for money to stay in this ryokan.

Decently priced Ryokan with Onsen at Yufuin”
Located about 5 minutes walk from Yufuin Station, next to a river. Hotel staff are very friendly. Even though they speak limited English, it was enough for us to understand each other. They have public and private onsen. The 3 private onsen which are all outdoor are beautiful, so make sure to book when you check-in. We managed to book two session, one at night, and the other in the morning before we check-out. We found one of the onsen a little bit dirty with small debris in the water but it was still a good experience. We didn't use the public onsen as it was kinda small. Breakfast is good. Just a heads-up that the room only has toilet and does not have any shower/bath. You will need to shower/bath in the public or private onsen offered.

Nice Ryokan with great Onsen experience”
Despite the scaldfolding surrounding the hotel facade as they are under renovation, Ryokan Yuri is a great place eto stay in Yufuin. Near the station about 0.7km away and less than 2km km to Lake Kinrin. I experienced 2 different outdoor Onsen and the indoor one as well. Nice place to stay

Pro - within walking distance to train station and walking street - close to the bridge/canal where u can take sceneric picture during early morning - private onsen available - recommend to book early as much as possible , otherwise your targeted time might be booked by other guest - staff is very helpful - close to supermarket Cons - amenty in onsen is normal

Great place for quiet and rest in yufuin”
Wonderful place with really good and kind staff. Its a bit away from the main streets of yufu but still close enough to get there effortlessly. A great feature of this place is the distance to a supermarket just a few buildings away. Private bath is also exceptional but please mind the customs. The only flaw is that the rooms are a bit dated with some signs of wearing, same goes with the furniture. Overall one of our best stays yet.
