This accommodation is very accessible since it is located along the highway near the St. Policarpio Highschool in Calbayog. The room is simple yet clean. They have hot water and provides free bottle of water everyday during breakfast. Though the breakfast they served has a limited variety, they tastes fine. It would be good if they can offer breakfast for those who don't eat meat, or pork or for vegetarian people. Also, I hope they could improve their facilities too like the aircon is a bit noisy maybe it's because it's a bit old already. Moreover, the place is a bit far from city center but is very accessible with any kind of transportation since they are just along the national highway. The staffs are polite and helpful. Overall I would recommend the place to travellers who will visit Calbayog as this is I think the most cheap yet decent place to stay.

Still the same service”
The last time I was here was several years back. Service was impeccable. Now, the place is under renovation and still the service and everything else has not changed. Still the BEST experience in Calbayog! The place is clean, staff is EXTREMELY attentive. Breakfast options are limited BUT extremely filling. Location-wise, it's centrally located and well lit even if you come in a bit late at night. The reception and staff will make sure that ALL guests are safely ensconced in the compound before locking up. One feels safe as there are limited rooms. Extremely cozy place.

Perfect Location”
The location really can't be beat...it is within the highway. Few minutes from Calbayog Airport. Their garden was a nice place to relax with their complimentary breakfast. Easy check-in...an overall great experience!

Clean and convenient”
The place is clean and the people here are very accommodating. The location is convenient too especially if you plan to catch a ferry the following morning at Northern Samar, just roughly 2 hours away to the northern ports. This is where I stay for the night during my roadtrips whenever crossing Samar and Sorsogon.

Great little Bed and Breakfast”
Great little place. Only 5 rooms but had a great family feel. The staff treated us like family. It is on the outskirts of town not too far from the airport. Transportation by trike is readily available outside on the main road. Will stay again.

2nd Stay”
This was my second stay. Great place with great staff. Be aware that in May there was a water shortage in Calbayog and water was not always available. This is not the fault of S & R and they did their best to accommodate their guests. This was a citywide problem.

Between the Airport and City Centre”
Didn't find much choice of hotels in Calbayog, but S&R is a good choice On the main highway between the Airport and the City proper, but noise isn't intrusive. Rooms have what you need, the staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is adequate rather than exceptional and served in the seating area outside your room. Overall - a good choice on the outskirts of the city.

The staff were great, friendly and accommodating. The place is quiet and gives you that kind of rural feeling and atmosphere. The breakfast is that of usual Filipino breakfast, but try the smoked fish/tinapa as Calbayog is known for it. Overall, it is a good place to stay.

Hi Craig, Thank you for your review and staying at our B&B. We’d like to clarify the following which is the Water interruption and the room you booked. 1. (First) Calbayog City has a scheduled water interruption and it is beyond our control, after the cut off time, we can only provide a limited amount of water for our guests to use. The "NO WATER" SCHEDULE is from 12NN -6 PM and 9PM to 6AM. The reason that you get a 2 hours is because you arrived at 7pm and the Water district will cut the water supply at 9:00 PM. We explained the situation during your check in. In the morning you have 6 hours to shower. 2. (Second) The room you booked is a STANDARD ROOM not a Deluxe room. The booking confirmation that Agoda sent to us did not indicate that you paid for an additional fee of the large bed. We already contacted agoda regarding this issue. We apologized for the inconvenience this water interruption has caused you. We value your business and we appreciate the feedback you gav
