Simple amazing! ”
I've stayed in Safestay Elephant and Castle for almost 17 days and really haven't found anything to complain about during my whole stay. The place is amazing, clean, neat, well kept, and for the prices I got, that was a real bargain! The bar downstairs is cheap and nice, the seating area outside (open from 8am-11pm) is big, open, and perfect for meeting new friends and having quick chats, showers and toilets are available in rooms and outside in the main halls, and they're always kept clean and hot water is always available. The main issue I'd like to address is to add more bins to the public areas, especially for throwing out cigarettes as the place in front of the front door can become messy at night. Otherwise, all perfect, and location wise it's one of the best hostels I've could stayed in. Co-op is next door, plenty of shops, McDonald's (open 24/7) and KFC are within few minutes walking distance, as well you're a walking distance from the City and all the attractions. Stay there.

I was pleasantly surprised with my choice to stay at Safestay I booked a twin room which had a private bathroom my room was clean beds comfortable and I had complimentary tea and coffee in my room also...I just stayed 1 night but could easily stay for longer as it was just perfect for me....❤

Reasonable stay”
Has a large lobby / bar which is also used as a lounge for ppl who stay there, wait to check it , and have breakfast in the morning. It required 10£ of deposit for renting hair dryer tho. 2£ for luggage locker but i stored my luggage in the room next to the bar place for free due to lack of vacant lockers. Female dorm was quite okay since it has bathroom in that room so that u dont have to move back and forth all the way.

The room was nice fit the 3 of us well and was comfortable to sleep in. The floor The rooms are on is very warm as well as the room it self even with the window constantly open. Breakfast was offered for £6 every morning and the staff were nice

The location, staffs the bed are all very nice, but no kitchen nor even microwave are very bad. Btw, you have to bring your own locks for your cabinets or you will have to buy one at the reception.

The hostel is great value and the rooms are pretty good. The general areas could e cleaned more often. This is more down to the consideration of people and their environment. There should be more attention paid to general maintenance of toilets and common areas.
