Good”

The inn was decent. If you aren't picky and are looking for a place which provides the basic necessities, Sagada Igorot Inn will do. We arrived earlier than the check-in time but the innkeeper nonetheless let us in. If there is one thing I like about this Inn is its location. It's only a couple of minutes away from the tourism office and public market, 3-4 minutes to the bus station and restaurants. I wish they could provide a few hangers and a clothes rack in the rooms as well to hang our clothes. But it's a good place to stay especially for budget travelers.

Not bad for where it is”

This inn was a good value for what they charge. Owned by local family who were very friendly and accommodating. As far as what is available in Sagada, we were very satisfied. The building is old, and definitely gives a feel like you've gone back in time a bit, but its a nice atmosphere when you are staying in a rural province in philippines. A short walk to city center/tourist office. They let us use their kitchen to cook our food even, although they serve meals(pre-order only) on request. Overall good stay.

Sagada Igorot Inn badly needs upgrading!”

Location, that's all.

Frankly, the only reason we got to choose Sagada Igorot Inn was that it was the only accommodation that fitted the date of our travel and the number of rooms that we needed. There were no other hotels available then. Nonetheless, for the cheap price we paid we got the corresponding cheap service and amenities. Thin pillow for each person, no towels and toiletries. Not even toilet paper! The toilet seat needed to be changed, it is stained with mildew and the water in the lavatory faucet came out in trickles. Worse, was when the water supply suddenly stopped while I was taking a shower. They should also do something with their receiving area. There were kids playing around and they were noisy. I think they were family members of the owner of the inn. Thin walls divide the bedrooms and you can easily hear the sounds from the other room it was kinda annoying. Maybe if they do some upgrading there wouldn't be any comments such as these. And they would be able to command a higher rate too considering that they have a very good location. We did not avail of their food services because we didn't even know what they had to offer. No menu list was provided in the rooms. Overall, the experience was akin to something like, thank God I had a bed to sleep.

Good overnight stay”

We arrived at the inn early. Since our triple sharing room is not yet available, the staff decided to check-in us to an available quadruple sharing room. We are so thankful for the early check-in and the room upgrade. The room has good beds with blankets. It has hot shower as well. The downside is that there is no wifi. They also don't provide towels, soap, and shampoo so better bring your toiletries. They also charge overstay extension for 100PHP per hour. We also asked the staff if they can provide hot drinking water. They gave us a thermos and charged us 60PHP. Overall, we had a good stay and this inn is not that bad at all.

Clean and Quiet”

Compared to the other reviews, I will personally vouch for this Inn. It's very close to the market and dropping off location of the bus. And also very close to the tourism office and the bus going to Baguio. We stayed here with my friend for one night on Dec 9-10 and we're satisfied. The room is very spacious for two pax. And we also have two big beds. There's no electric fan as it's not really needed because of the really cold weather. We are sharing the bathroom in the basement rooms which is fine because I think we're the only tenants there during that time. What I would comment on though is that the comfort room can be improved on. It's hard to flush it. It really takes it time which is kind of annoying. But other than that, everything's good. The staff is very nice as well!

good value for money but has inhospitable staff”

(1) great value for money- at a very cheap price the room can accomodate a group of 4 people (2) good location - the hotel is at the center sagada (3) clean rooms and bathroom

The hotel is cheap and has a good worth for your money but what really bugs me with this hotel is the staff who approached us upon our arrival. she was very inhospitable. we booked 3 rooms( which is already paid for via credit card) and suddenly she told me that she has 'overlooked' our reservation and so she would transfer us to a different room provided that we should pay an additional amt of P500. it was not our fault that the rooms i have reserved for were not available. so i refused to pay the additional 500. it was a very stressful ride going from dvo to sagada. 14hrs travel form manila. and then this rude lady had to pissed us off upon our arrival. and so i told her that i want to avail the rooms that i had reserved online. Then she got mad. she was dissing at us every second. and i hated it. we went to sagada to have a peace of mind and she ruined it. its a good thing that we only stayed there for one night.

Simple but okay”

We don't agree on all the bad revious. Of course the accomodation is not new, but the rooms are big, it is located in the middle of everything and for the low price you pay it is totally fine. The staff is okay, we could store our backpacks for longer for example. The only bad part was that we had a mouse in the room on one morning, but it ran away really quick. But in Southeastasia that's almost normal...

Where is the hot shower?”

Good location. Big room. Nice view.

I chose this inn because it was supposed to have warm shower. But the warm water was just leaking from the shower head. We stayed here for two nights and my kids didn't take shower for the whole stay. The room was very cold and with poor amount of warm water, impossible to take shower. I can see that staff don't have any bad intention, but they should realize that they are in service industry. They should try harder to understand the guests' need.

Location/Friendly Staff/Spacious rooms

The room was basic and only had one working socket (the other socket was broken) the window in the CR was also broken meaning people could potentially look in, but considering the price, it offered excellent value for money. The bedding was clean and the beds were comfortable. The staff were friendly and accommodating. Also there was free WiFi.

I left after one day of a four night booking. The room had three beds but that was all that matched the description. The shared toilet/showers were substandard,Toilet in the womens was clogged with feces present the mens urinal was out of order the shower valves were just the valve stems that you had to turn with your fingers. The front desk was indifferebt to me as a foriegner and, serviced the Filipinos behind me first. The lobby was filled with noisey children screaming and running around. This hotel is overrated and overpriced and should not be shown in Agoda

We stayed there 3 nights. No toilet paper and towels (we had to ask for it and the staff was surprised, the staff was not interested in the guests). Old and dirty facilities, after first night the water in our room stopped working. The location is not bad because it is very close to the tourist information center but just behind the hotel there was a small pig farm where they slaughtered pigs in 2 out of 3 mornings starting at 6 am.
