Excellent”

I wish the hotel can provide shuttle transportation from the train station to the hotel. The bus fare is not list in the train station. We were lucky to meet local students who were able to communicate with us in English at the train station and they told us the bus fare for the stop that we need to get off so we can prepare to pay.

がんばってください”

10年以上振りに訪れました。 部屋は広めのベッドルームでソファーでくつろげます。掃除も行き届いています。 が、 かび臭い？湿気くさい？ 温泉はいいお湯でした。 目的のひとつの泥パックも楽しめましたが ひなびたというより古くなったという印象でした。 最近の温泉場では風呂上がりに化粧水や乳液のサービスがふつうになっているので無いことに慌てました。 夜遅く露天風呂風の家族風呂に行きましたが熱くて足もつけられずお湯を止めて水で埋めて洗い桶で何度も何度もくみ出す始末。 夕食会場は天井を見上げると立派な梁の素敵な建物。 食事は旅館にありがちな食べきれない量と言うこともなく豚しゃぶと鶏肉の濃いめのお出汁で卵に浸けて美味しくいただきました。 朝食は感染症予防の為個々にお盆で運ばれてきました。 ごく普通のお値段に見合った御料理でした。 別館に宿泊したので温泉に入るのもお食事をいただくのも傘を差しての移動は辛いです。 せめて渡り廊下があれば‥ スタッフの皆さんは愛想良く親切にしていただきました。

離れの個室”

チェックイン場所からシャトルで移動する離れの個室でした。男女のカップルなら良いかもですが私は本館または母屋(？)の部屋に泊まりたかったです。温泉に行くまでに外を歩く廊下があるので寒いです。お湯と泥パックは良いです！ 食事はもしここに泊まるなら夕食つきをおすすめします。夕食屋までは車で行かないといけないし、夜の山道は暗く運転に慣れない私達は早めの食事をとろうと思いましたが、時間帯が微妙で夕方5：30以降にならないとやってなかったり閉店してたので、結局コンビニで夕食を買って部屋で食べました。朝食はよかったです。

リピートは無いと思った。”

部屋の壁紙が剥がれかかっていたり、不在中に布団を敷きに来てくれるのに部屋に金庫が無かったりして微妙だった。 前の宿泊者の忘れ物が落ちていたという点では、掃除も行き届いているとは言い難いのでは・・・。 屋外ではそこまで気にならなかった温泉の臭いが部屋には充満していた。 フロントでの説明が無かったので、最初はトイレが臭っているのかと思った。 誤解を防ぐ為にも説明した方が良いと思う。

霧島神宮に近い”

お風呂の設備が古く清潔感にかける 洋館の離れはスリッパに履き替えるのだが、スリッパの中敷きが剥がれていて不快でした。まともなスリッパも数少なかった。土足のほうがよい。。 部屋のエアコンは新しいのに冷房にしても温風が出て冷えなかった。 部屋自体ホコリっぽい、窓を開けようかと思ったが、網戸が閉まらず蚊が入ってきた。 食事は普通、刺し身が出てくるまでに２０分以上待って出てこないので声をかけたいけど近くに給仕する人もおらず 他の客がすいませんと言っても誰も来ない シメにフルーツがある？と聞いていたが出てこないので席を立った 女性はみんなピンクの浴衣なのがちょっと嫌でした、選べるか男女同じでいい

Family of 4 stayed in a duplex cabin with 2 meals included, great value! Room was comfortable and the food was delicious. However, the public bath was poorly maintained, the facilities were old, and the mud bath was of lower quality compared to other Kirishima hot springs.
