We wish we lived at the Salaya - Stay here!!”
We booked the Salaya as a last minute escape and the one night we stayed here was the highlight of our trip. Everything from the exceptional service, unbelievable view, beautiful grounds, delicious food and luxury accommodations. Just WOW!! Anyone staying near, around Dumaguete should treat themselves to at least one night in this secret paradise. It will not disappoint.

The nicest hotel in the area”
This could be the nicest resort in Dumaguete. The penthouse we stayed in was huge. Everything is perfect. Food were above our expectation! And very reasonably priced. Being one of the pricier accommodation, we didn't had much neighbours (which was great, we got all the attention of the staffs). Do the Apo island trip and also if possible the whale shark sighting. And we love Laura (the dive master/guide). She had been extremely professional, informative yet friendly all at once. I'll definitely recommend to all my friends.

Exceptional”
The resort is quite private. During our stay we barely saw other guests. And the service could be all yours. We met bunches of great staffs who gave us a really relaxed and unforgettable experience. Though there is only black sand on the beach, you have a great underwater view when diving. The only problem is that I can’t find any cotton swab in the room as well as other supplies( toothpaste, body lotion, etc.). Except for that, the resort is absolutely worth the price.

We arrived hotel at midnight 2am. Great service with decorations for my request to my boyfriend surprised! Here all the staff is very nice and they sing birthday song together to my boyfriend. Please say wonderful to chef in this chocolate cake!! Only feel badly for don’t take some photo together for memories. Also have fun dive trip here, details show up at blackboard what will you can see in dive point. I’m attached some pictures for reference. It’s quite privacy place suitable for relax your holiday! We hope go back again and see you all!!

Nice rooms and food, very pricey and terrible beach”
The rooms are really high quality with huge beds and nice bathrooms. The food is good too. The price is well above places like this elsewhere and that is a shame. The beach is one of the worst we have seen anywhere although there is a small marine sanctuary with good snorkelling off the beach. The pool is clean. The staff were friendly and accommodating. Because of the room price and the beach I would not book this again.

Honeymoon”
This Hotel is to escape from everything. You can never imagine you could find such a beautiful place when you are in the tricycle on the way to your hotel. The entire place give you a vibe of peacefulness and calmness. The rooms feels like home with simple and modern decor, including comfy and relaxing balconies with sea garden view. The food is delightful and simply delicious. Tuna sashimi and butter chicken were my favourite. Service is outstanding and activities well organize and profesional. In conclusion we loved our 4 days stay.

secluded, so no easy way to travel outside resort. Bit pricey. Beautifully designed and maintained property. Polite and accommodating staff. Beach is dark sand with some rocks. Snorkeling in front of property good. Pool narrow and long, well maintained. Food was fresh with many ingredients from their garden. Cooking staff experienced and geared toward healthy tasty dishes. Tours available. Diving available.

Dive shop”
Everything in salaya is superb except for the dive shop staff im not sure if he’s a dm or di. We didn’t avail their dive service since we already booked with other dive service in dauin. Name is Marc Van, not so accommodating and didn’t let us use the dive shop even just to put our stuff and hang our wet suits. He even asked us to remove our dive gears and just put it in our veranda. To top it off.. we never get to enjoy the veranda because our dive gears are everywhere.

At the time of your stay we also had a large group of divers & snorkelers staying with us. Since we didn't know you were divers, all our dive facilities were in use by guests who had booked to dive with Salaya. However we do provide drying racks in all the private courtyard gardens for hanging up wet (dive) gear, so that you have no need to use the veranda. Many guests use the racks in the private courtyard garden and often comment on how convenient these are. Since we couldn't provide you with a storage locker in the diveshop, we recommended that you use the drying rack provided in your private garden area. My friends and I had the best time at Salaya Beach House. Everything was so perfect. All of the staffs are welcoming and very attentive to our requests. Food was great also, only took 10-15mins for our order to arrive. Upon checking in they made sure our unit was completely cleaned. Our massage experience was one of a kind. Would really love to go back! One night is really not enough for you to enjoy the property. Kudos to the whole staff of this resort, you are the greatest asset of your company. 아마도 다윈에서 가장 좋은 숙소가 아닐까 생각합니다. 일하는 사람이 숙박객보다 많아보이며, 항상 먼저 인사를 건냅니다. 가장 좋은 뷰가 있는 방에 묵었던 것 같은데, 탑층 침대에서도 바다가 보입니다. 거실에서는 수영장과 바다가 보이고 수영장 물은 좀 짭니다만 매일 청소하고 관리합니다. 환경친화적인 숙소로 물은 정수해서 수도로 나오고, 페트병 생수는 제공하지 않습니다. 어메니티도 다 도자기에 담겨 있고, 일회용품들은 없었구요, 레스토랑에서 꽂아주는 빨대 하나까지도 스테인리스 빨대에요. 한국에서도 찾기 힘들정도로 철저하게 친환경적인 숙소인 듯해요. 다윈에 위치하다 보니 아포섬이나 다윈 다이빙 가기에는 굉장히 가깝고 좋습니다. 그러나 다윈이라는 동네가 두마게티와 멀어서 그런 건지 두마게티까지 나가기가 힘듭니다. 근처에 식당도 거의 없고, 아무데도 갈 수가 없습니다. 숙소에서 다 해결하거나 오토바이 렌탈을 해야 했어요. 3일 밤 묵었고 3일 저녁식사를 여기서 했는데, 어지간한 공항보다도 비쌉니다. 맛은 좋습니다. 특히 씨푸드 플래터는 예술이었어요. 저희가 묵었던 Flamboyant 의 샤워실 두 곳 다 물이 잘 빠지지 않았습니다. 아마 다음에는 고쳐 놓았을거예요.

最差体验：酒店的介绍里有厨房，但事实需要200美金一次！200美金一次！200美金一次！的开火费！厨房只是忽悠家庭用户入住，入住后如果需要自己做饭就要支付200美金一次的费用，真不明白那要厨房干嘛呢！ 地理位置：距离杜马盖地市区车程20-30分钟，没有车根本出不去。酒店距离马路有15分钟的步行距离，崎岖的泥路，下雨天/晚上根本无法步行。 酒店餐饮：真的很难吃！食材不新鲜，还煮的非常咸。基本一半都是浪费的，后来早饭是自己买的面包/方便面，晚饭有一餐是让市区的中餐店外送过来的。 酒店设施：没有海滩！没有海滩！没有海滩！只是酒店靠着海，中间还有一段防潮带，密密麻麻的防潮麻袋还有倒下的树。

优点:酒店环境很不错 房间真的很大 都是别墅类型 员工服务都很棒 酒店有潜店 任何出行都可以在酒店定 但价格偏贵。 缺点；酒店位于道因 整体位置偏僻 周围一个便利店都没有 只能在酒店内活动。一日三餐需在酒店内解决，出门去哪里都比较远需要半小时车程，酒店接驳很贵 出酒店走五分钟到大路上可以坐突突车去杜马每人16比索 还比较划算。
