+ the room is big and clean + the facilitates are new + the beach staff are friendly and cheerful + the private beach view is awesome - the restaurant and reception staff are rude and impolite - the restaurant food quality is just normal, not enough choices

A truly fantastic place”
Starting from its central location in the heart of Hurghada in the Hurghada Promenade. The hotel is very clean and The beds were really comfortable. The room was spacious and the house keeping was really good. The Breakfast and Dinner buffets were very good with a nice varieties of dishes. The Lunch Buffet was fine but not as good. Most important is the hotel management and staff starting from the Reservation manager Mr. Maher, Reception manager Mr. Hany and his staff Mr. Eslam, Mahmoud and Mohammed. Also the restaurants staff and the animation team. They were all really helpful and very eager to make our stay as pleasant as possible.They would even go out of their may to help whenever they could. We will definitely come back again to Samra Bay Resort next time we are in Hurghada.

Exceptional”
For the price I paid ($45/day), it's a great all-inclusive hotel. It's brand new and still building up (but that did not affect me by any means). The standard room was exactly as pictured. Stylish, new, comfortable. I liked food, overall cleanliness, and presence of windsurfing station. Not many people, no lines at the restaurant. It's quiet and attracts mostly elderly people. What I didn't like: - all of the pools are not heated and are freezing cold in winter - the hotel has problems with hot water, most of time it's just lukewarm - the "bay", while being excellent for learning to windsurf, isn't good for swimming (too shallow and cold). You can go swimming further into the sea (it's warmer and deeper), if you can brave the corals and stones on the floor.
