Everything was absolutely on point. Service was superb, Daniel the owner was very friendly, helpful and provided a lot of information about the region. The cabins where super nice and clean. Free use of kayaks, lovely warm lake to swim in, food was good. No-brainer to stay here for at least two-three nights if you want a relaxing and tranquil getaway. Best accommodation we had in Nicaragua

San Simian is truly a hidden treasure, I loved every minute of my stay and plan on returning. The Laguna de Apoyo is breathtaking and at San Simian you have the perfect view and experience. The cabanas are cute but also very comfortable, our rooms were cleaned on a daily basis and fresh sheets and towels at all times. Breakfast was delicious and having coffee every morning at San Simian was very nice, the omelets delicious and so are the natural juices. Daniele and the entire staff were truly remarkable, very nice and genuine people, there to make you feel safe and comfortable during your stay. I'm blown away with how amazing this place truly is.

Loved the location, it is a must do if staying in Nicaragua, the swim in the lake was amazing. Our Dinner and breakfast was great and the facility upkeep is top notch! We will be back!

This place is so incredibly beautiful! Really well blended with nature, the gardens give it a very natural atmosphere. This place is amazing to just lay down, have a drink, and relax. There’s no loud music playing so you get a good chance to see animals up close! And the food is amazing! Very delicious and tasty!

Beautiful scenery”

The place is was lovely retreat with a warm volcanic lake. The hut was cute however what I thought that made it great was the environment attached to the resort. There was a private lake with two places to dine in that were very romantic environment. The staff were very helpful.

Daniel & Raquel we’re both very welcoming and hospitable. I felt at home and safe from the moment I got there. The room was beautiful, clean and very well kept. I had a beautiful view of the Laguna.
I thought it was a bit pricy by Nicaraguan standards. Additionally, they add a 15% tip to the hotel bill on top of tax.

This resort makes you wish you were staying longer. The grounds are beautiful, the bungalows charming, the food is great, and the staff are welcoming. Everything about San Simian, just a short drive from Granada, says "Enjoy yourself."

Great for a lake and jungle experience!”

Accomodation is amazing. You have a private cabine for yourself with private outdoor shower. You feel like in the jungle but with mosquitos net so do not be affraid with insects. Direct access to the lake with great platform to swim around. Free kayaks, bodyboard. We had a very pleasant stay!
We did not expect to pay 25% more in the final bill (15%tax + 10% tips) which can higher quite a lot the final cost. Anyway, people at the reception and owner were very kind si tips well diserved.

Staff very friendly, a place to relax and to enjoy nature. Food was very good as well.
Food is overpriced, there was not much variety of food. The bathroom need some maintenance and there isn’t a pool.
