Good location and value for money”
I have difficulty locating this hotel as the signage at eye level say sapa queen hotel and not sapa queen palace hotel. On top of it, the address given was unit 9b and not 9. I have a hard time locating as most shops there do not even know the hotel name and they pointed me up, down left, right. In the end when I found the place, the lady that was able to speak English was not there and it was a restaurant and the Vietnam older lady keep pushing a menu to me. In the end the guy came back and was able to say agoda and my name and I was finally so relieve that I found the place. Suggest to the hotel to have a logo and hotel name in the restaurant re caption counter. I have a noisy Neighbour the first 2 nights as they are cooking outside the balcony and I did not open the window to sleep as it was facing the balcony. They should have a tighter control on this. The place is quite dated but doable as a convenient and value for money place to stay. I will still come back to this hotel If the price is not to high.

Great hotel with friendly staff”
Our stay in Sapa was short, only 1 night. However, the hotel and Sapa themselves made a highlight of our 3-week-Vietnam vacation. Sapa was nice place for everyone and a quite mountain relax. Should recommend Sapa and this hotel to anyone who wish a nice break in Sapa, Vietnam

Simple but comfortable”
The staff is very attentive. They arranged our minibus back to Lao Cai and a day-tour through the terraced rice paddies and into the ethnic minority villages. We were worried that the room, with no heat or A/C and two wall of mostly windows, would be cold in November, so the staff brought us a space heater. (It turns out that it didn't get too cold on the thermometer. It's just that Sapa is constantly in fog and the dampness makes it feel that way.)

Awesome Stay at Sapa Palace”
Had a great time here. Sure we could have got a 5 dollar room off the bus, but I was so glad we stayed here. We visited in December, and so it was a little bit chilly. Thankfully our bed had a huge electric blanket that made the nights so cozy. We loved this hotel so much that we were planning on going on an overnight trek but decided to stay an extra day here instead. The internet is lightening-speed fast, and the staff are so friendly and helpful. They had us check in at 8 in the morning, had to print some documents and they let us do it for free, and when we stayed an extra night they happily gave us the agoda rate. Very fair price on outgoing train tickets too. The view out the window is absolutely incredible if you pick one of the higher level rooms, and the location really can't be beat with restaurants and cafes at your doorstep!

value for money hotel”
the location of the hotel is centrally located and convenient. Staff speak english so its easy to communicate with them. They can arrange your transport back to laocai for reasonable prices. heated blankets were useful because sapa is cold. The hotel however is old and don't expect too much for the hotel's condition.

Superb place”
Hotel staff arranged a trekking trip to Fanxpian for us, for a good price. When we returned we could take a room for just two hours to get shower. Then one of the hotel owners guided us to the bus station and waited with us to the bus departure. Hotel also booked a train ticketets for us.

Sapa Queen a Bummer”
I arrived in Sapa on a cold, foggy, rainy day. I was shown to a room on the fifth floor which had no heat and towels. All the staircases were outside so getting to and from the room was a complete hassle. The room was tired and the sheets were so wrinkled I was sure they were clean. The room itself on a clearer day would have given a spectacular view since it was high and the entire front of the room is windows. However all windows in the cold means a wickedly cold room. I left and checked into another hotel, Hotel Elegance. More expensive for sure, but worth it.

drip, drip, drip. it will drive you nuts”
it's not an 8.4 it's very each to find, just a few metres from the corner where the minibus will drop you, outside the french bakery. we ended up in , which has glorious views (once you filter out the other buildings and wiring). access is via an outside staircase, which isn't that bad has a windows on two sides and views to the rice paddies. terrace outside. huge room with a large double and a single bed. tv, kettle, chairs and table. bathroom is huge, with a water heater in the bathroom, the shower is at the far end, with a lip, to contain the water (hurray, the first after a month in vietnam). good water pressure from a rainfall showerhead. room is not overlooked. the room was great until it started drizzling outside, when it started coming thru the ceiling moved i5, the first corner room that you come to on the third floor. less stairs! another great terrace in front, the views not so great, mainly of other buildings and the road, but hey i'd already taken the photos and it was raining heavily now, isn't as big , but same great bathroom, large double and single bed. tv, kettle and hairdryer. windows on two walls as before, same damp in the corners of the room. wooden floors. this time there are other rooms that have to walk past, and you are overlooked a little from across the road. there's a corrugated iron cover/roof on the terrace. you don't want to be in this room if it rains, you'll probably end up with tinnitus. the room was fine, we stayed two nights, the shower was good, again good water pressure. but after two days of rain a drip drip onto the roof that i can still hear 24 hours later and a room that was feeling increasingly damp we moved on was noisy with road noise from around 6am and folks having breakfast outside (why do you have to shout to each other when eating breakfast?).

OK.”
I felt comfortable. Wifi is not strong, but ok. Nice staff. They kept my luggage in good condition when I checked out for Y Ty trip and then welcome us back with good price for the same room. Good place with suitable price for your trip as long as you dont have too high requirement on facilities and hygienic condition.

Good value option”
A good value choice. I had the very top room which offered great views. ( no lift) my room was fine with hot water. The bed had a good electric blanket which made everything cosy. Everything was clean, a good laid back option.

Good location but not the cleanest ”
I stayed here for 2 nights and was shocked to receive a shabby room with yellowing sheets and paint that was cracking off the ceiling (onto my bed). the room window overlooked the hills but only partially as the view was blocked by other hotels across the street. staff were accommodating and obliging however and did their best to service our request. there was also a massive cockroach in our room. the shower was good thought, nice pressure and hot water no problem. not sure how the other rooms are but i was disappointed in the overall shabbiness of our room considering how good the other reviews were.

The hotel is fine for what it is, bring your own logs for the fireplace, staff were helpful and friendly but a bit disorganised

Dirty, noisy and rooms of very low standard”
One of the worst hotel I have been to in Vietnam. The rooms are not clean. Wifi is poor. No fans in the room. A lot of noise from the street. The staff was ok, depends on who you are talking with.

It is just ok! ”
The location is good, quite convenience to walk to the Church and other places. The room is very small, no cabin to hang clothes, the Tivi doesn’t work as well. Next time I wouldn’t choose this hotel

Very accommodating staff. No A/C, so could've used a fan for sleeping, but weather was nice enough not to worry.
