For the price, you can't beat the Sapa Rose. A lot of fancy schmancy hotels are invading this quaint hiker town, making bargain priced places like the Sapa Rose a thing of the past. It's what you'd expect in a small village right out of the pages of National Geographic magazine. Don't expect a mint on your pillow but do expect to get a big bang for your buck. Or Euro. Or Yuan. Or Dong.

One of One Stars!”
Travelers, in a developing country like Vietnam, a one star hotel is as good as it gets. Sapa rose is awesome. You'll experience problems with wifi, beds not as soft as a hilton in Maui, but you're in Vietnam. I love the Sapa rose, have stayed there several times and will not spend a dong more on a fancier hotel. The biggest beef is the language barrier with some of the staff. Nothing that google translate can't handle.

Its a nice hotel and it was easy to find. Very nice woman who worked in tje reception. We got there early so we were able to pay to check in earlier. (5 dollars). Since we visited in december its cold in sapa. There is no heat in room nor the lobby! In the booking we were informed we would have heat. It was very cold and steam came out when breathing, indoors. Lucky for us we had electric heating in bed that saved us. You were able to take a hot shower for about 5 minutes because the container of warm water was not big. 3 degrees in room about so shower didnt help. So I walked around and visited other hotels. Non of them are heated!! So this place is just like all others. With that said this place is good and you wont get anything better if you payed more.

Good deal for 207 000 VND”
Good hotel for 207 000 VND. We could easily check in at 6 am after arriving with night bus. The staff is friendly, rooms are clear and we could also leave our baggage at a partner hotel for free while going for 3 day trekking. I can recommend this hotel.

Unsafe, extremely poor customer service”
Went out, came back to a broken window in our room. Informed staff. The girl there forced us to pay 200k VND whilst throwing shades saying “window not auto broken”. She gave us plenty of excuses why we cannot speak to the manager. Finally got on call with him, I said “sorry, we won’t take the blame for both parties”, he said “ok you sorry, now you pay”. I don’t even know why we bothered to reason with them, we could’ve just walked out. Apparently it wasn’t the first incident of broken windows in this hotel according to previous Agoda reviews. I brought that up but they somehow misunderstood that I said I will leave a bad review, and threatened to call Agoda if I had left a bad review. When I checked in, receptionist was nowhere to be found for an hour. Hot water was on and off, beds were ok but dampy, no heating like what was advertised. There are cheaper hotel with the same if not better facilities in Sapa.

Sapa is not a cheap place when it comes to accommodation. This hotel is a good value and rather convenient if you can overcome the cold. It was like sleeping outside. Yes, it has electric blankets but no sockets (dah!). The beds are typical "made of stone" Vietnamese beds so no point in talking about that. And on top of it all the receptionist was never there. It is not that you might have a million of questions but when you want to check in it would be nice to have someone there.... Would I recommend? I think yes if you are looking for a budget private room. But prepare your woollies in winter and do not forget patience if you need to speak to someone who works there. By the way, the bus they arranged for us was smooth so thumbs up or that!

Extremely hard beds”
We are traveling since 3 month trough Southeastasia and stayed in many hotels/hostels, but we never had so extremely hard and uncomfortable beds like in Sapa Rose Hotel. They felt like wood. The rest of the room was OK, but dirty. So even for the cheap price of only 10 dollar I can not recommend this hotel.

Room was what we needed, spacious, nice beds and hot shower. There was a strange odor but everything else was good. Be aware there is no elevator in this hotel. We were able to store luggage for free the next day when we checked out.

I booked room at weekend but when I arrived to hotel, they told me that they were full. After that they arranged a room at near hostel with poor facilities! I paid for my room but I didn’t stay !

Cold and samp”
Situated in the town centre. We had à wharmby welcome. But That was it. Never saw them again ... the room was very damp and cold ( 3rd floor on balcony). . Didnt help That We stayed when the weather was poor (foggy and very wet). No heating in the room only electric blanquets which help ed remi vingt some of the dampness. One morning We had no hot water .. and twice We had power cuts ( over an hour rachat time ) . Other buildings around us didnt seem to have thé same problem.

positive: none /after first night we cancelled our 4 nights reaervation negative: room was dirty, smelled mouldy, bed sheets stained, bathroom had a big hole/window into someone else's bathroom so zero privacy, shower leaked and sprayed, beds very hard..

베트남 8일 여행중 5군데 숙소를 잡았는데 이곳이 1등 이었어요 일단은 깨끗하고 가격 저렴하고 위치도 메인거리에서 도보로 5~10분정도 되구요 슬리핑 버스를 이용하신다면 정류장도 가까운 곳이고 가격대비 최고였던 곳이었습니다
