Exceptional”
I stayed at the hotel for three nights recently. We booked a premier room which was on an angle and hence gave us a much better space compared to a normal premier room. Room was clean and linens were well made. Bathroom was spacious and good quality toiletries were provided. The only down side to my stay was the fridge in the room which had to be changed twice as it wasn’t cooling! Breakfast was a good spread of both continental and Indian. No cold meats. Good selection of cut fruits. The confectionery items were aweful and stale but other then that, all other food was excellent! Good staff on hand as well.

The restaurant Manager, Mr Navin and the staff of the restaurant are very helpful and caring. However, the laundry section needs improvement as our clothes have spoilt due to pressing with hot iron, and that without a word of excuse or regret from the management on the day we were leaving for Mumbai. Otherwise, it's a nice place for a holiday.

Jaipur night halt ”
Myself, my wife and her niece were traveling by car from Pune to Delhi . As journey was long , we were staying overnight after every 350km journey every day . Jaipur was last stop. Sarovar Portico Jaipur was a good choice close to national highway . However, it was far from city center and historical monuments . But as our choice was not visiting tourist places , we decided on portico . It’s a good value for money. Hotel room was big but odd shaped , Room # 308. May be other rooms are better . Breakfast in morning had good spread with delicious food . Priyanka the hostess at breakfast time was very attentive and took care of our requirements well . Would recommend my friends who are visiting Jaipur to stay at Portico

My ordeal ”
Parking space insufficient, they should drop parking from their facilities section. Front desk took longer than usual, room offered was very small. Could be booked through Agoda. Had to change the room because wet floor. Room service evade requests, insufficient staff could be the reason. Key provided stopped functioning, remain stand outside room for 10 minutes after repeat calls new key arrived. Hotel far away from main city, not good for tourists Overall one of the worst stays

This hotel need updating. Bar area was cosy. Breakfast below average. Bedding excellent and room was clean but other areas were dusty.

Hotel left us STRANDED”
Hotel cancelled our booking despite taking credit card oayment. Reason given that we did not respond to email to confirm booking on the day. We did not get email. We discovered that there was a medical conference on that day and really struggled to find alternative accommodation given that we were travelling dome 9 hours by car. Highly unprofessional behaviour from hotel which could have easily left us on the street overnight.
