pleasant surprise”
We have spent only one night at Sea Light Hotel but it was a pleasant surprise. It was a good deal and we had enjoyed a wonderful evening and night on the 15th floor. so the hotel condition will improve. And I hope that there will be hot water all day long in the near future.The business center looked but one computer worked, so what. The breakfast was above average, we hated the view of the tiny little fried birds in the rice noodle nest though. The staff was very friendly.

Possibly only option but unusual stay”
Hard to fault the room for the price, except the TV reception was rubbish. It was just a strange night. We'd been travelling in Cambodia and Vietnam for a while and it just felt uncomfortable here. The hotel seemed deserted and we were on the very top floor of a building that just seemed out of character with the whole place. Can't fault the room for the price but it's just a funny place. Personally I wouldn't overnight in Rach Gia. If you are heading for Phu Quoc, look at Ha Tien or fly from Saigon. If you thrive from being away from other tourists though, maybe Rach Gia is your place....

Great Hotel but rooms are small”
one of the best hotel in the city of rach gia. unfortunately the rooms are small and just meet the minimum requirement of comfortability compared to the price paid. the hotel situated a bit far from the center of attractions. anyway, still worth the money to stay for.

A pleasant stay at Sea Light”
We had a good stay at Sea Light. We got more than what we paid for. The hotel has 4 star international standard but the price is jus half of what we would pay for at other 4 star hotel in the same location. The only issue was the hot water which took us almost 15' of running and wasting water before the hot water came.

Large Rooms and helpful staff”
only a few staff members spoke english well enough to help us with our questions, these staff members were very helpful and bent over backwards to help us. very disappointed that the pool was not working. the restaurant was not able to provide what we ordered and we had to re-choose multiple times. the tap in the shower needed to be running for 10 minutes before hot water came out. but apart from these 3 points the room was reasonably priced. the staff tried very hard to make our stay pleasant as they could sense we were not entirely happy with the pool situation and restaurant. i do hope they sort it out as this hotel has potential.

Spring interior beds!!!”
We arrived during tet (Chinese new year) therefore we received no breakfast whatsoever, just a sorry no one here to cook it. We felt quite miffed as my hotel voucher clearly states breakfast included. That aside the staff that were still here were friendly and helpful. They took care of two suitcases and a partly full bottle of wine whilst we visited phu quoc for three days for which we were very grateful. I have returned again (booked under another company as they were cheaper on the day) but have also booked family in for one night with Agoda for night of 7th February. Having stayed in phu quoc in a supposed 3 star, we considered it luxury to come back to sea light at a quarter of the price we paid In phu quoc.

Great value, good location”
Pleasant experience. Courteous staff but knew little English. Indoor parking for vehicle and 24 hour security. Rooms were clean but not immaculate. Hotel needs a little repair work, but nothing to prevent me from staying there again

Very good in general, quality room facility with a pretty low price, recommend for family, conference. their restaurant was under constructing by the time we visit, but an outdoor coffee shop play well as a backup place.

Confy stay at Rach Gia”
Hotel is very basic without a swimming pool or a 24 hour coffee house. There is no buffet breakfast, just a set menu for you to choose from at a cafe located at the hotel grounds. Anyway there are many eateries around that area, mostly by the seaside. Overall the stay was comfortable one, and bed was really comfy. The Standard room is not very large but the TV has many channels to occupy my kid. Room was also quiet which allowed us to rest after a long day touring the place. Overall no regrets booking this place for the price I paid.

Empty Hotel & Away From City Centre”
From the online pictures this hotel looks great. However, the hotel itself looks pretty old inside the hallways and lobby. Rooms are very clean and neat though. There's a pool & GYM on the 1st floor. Pool is dirty and looks like it is rarely ever used. I expected a lot more people at this hotel (19 floors) but was surprised to see probably only a handful of other guests. Hotel felt very cold and empty. Breakfast is provided but the selection is rather limited. Congee, duck eggs, spaghetti and the daily special (pho/banh xeo/bun nuoc etc). Hotel's location is far away from anything. Surrounding streets are empty as they are under development and will be for years. Staff were "professional" rathern that friendly. Requests were provided quickly but I wouldn't label it "service with a smile". Would not recommend this hotel. Although there was nothing majorly wrong with it. You can find better value hotels for a lot cheaper and closer to the shopping area/night life.

Friendly service and value for money”
Overall value for money, rooms comfortable size and clean however some finishes on the room could have had more attention to detail (plumbing not that great however in our particular room everything seemed to function), wardrobe had wet rot but there was other space to place closing items etc. Pool was good (however on one day in the afternoon they decided to drain it and not notify guests), gym equipment not that great but useable however if you exercise early before breakfast there is no air conditioning. Buffet was average and seemed clean. This hotel is value for money and the staff spoke some English.
