Situated on a wide quiet residential street with an easy walk to the beach and park area. Staff could not speak English (Then again I cannot speak Vietnamese) although tried to do their best. Breakfast was booked with the room but according to the reception only. Included Vietnamese Noodle, no beverages. A few houses away was a good local coffee shop servicing Vietnamese and European coffee and a few cakes.

Cleaning staff at Sea Wonder LOVES to knock on your door at 9am”
The hotel is great, reception, the check in all smooth. I stayed 3 nights at Sea Wonder Hotel, after my first night, there was persistant, forceful knock on my door at 9am. As I had sent to bed at 6am, this woke me up. First I ignore the knocking, but hotel staff did not give up, every 2 minutes the knocks hot louder and louder, they woke me up. I did not want to get out of bed, after only few hours of sleep. Unfortunately staff kept knocking, and at this point banging on my foor. I could hear people behind my door giggling, girls, and as it turned out cleaning staff, because eventually girls yelled "cleaning room!". I had to get out of bed, since there were several rounds of knocking, and I could hear girls giggling. I opened the door, fully awske, fully feeling awful hangover from night before. 2 cleaning staff girls were laughing at me, as stood at the door. Needless to say, they did it on purpose, girls had great fun, "lets wake up the guest at 9am!". Never again at Sea Wonder

Pros: lovely staffs, facilities is ok. It took quite long for hot water in the bathroom. Cons: breakfast here is quite boring. We dont have many options for breakfast maybe because the price is cheap.

It was 8am and there was almost nothing left for breakfast. I asked for a fried egg and they told me that it was not available. Maybe my face looked serious that time that they came to the kitchen then said there were some left and prepared the pan. My check-in was not smooth, I guess they missed my booking because they could not find my name in their system, and they even did not reply to my online request when my booking was confirmed. A triple room was assigned for me though I informed them that I would travel for honeymoon. Good location if you love the beach and it is quite far from the center I think

Facilities are very old”
We booked a room for 4 people with 2 double beds and sea view. But when we checked in the hotel gave us a room with 3 beds with no view and very dirty (dust, hair everywhere). When we claimed about that the receptionist said he had no more room to exchange for us. We will never come back again.

Bed bugs”
Location was close to beach and walking distance to places to eat. Room was big enough, with a desk, but was tired looking and uninspiring. The only aesthetic touch was one picture, which was much appreciated given the large blank wall space. I booked two nights. After the first night, I began to notice I was feeling itchy, and also found the bed too soft and was cheerfully given another room. However by the afternoon, I noticed rashes appearing, which developed into my worst case of bedbugs with literary hundreds of bites. The receptionist was very apologetic. The manager authorised a full refund for both nights, but not the cost of medical expenses. I understand bedbugs can happen anywhere, however, it is a time consuming and unpleasant experience best avoided if possible.

Bed bugs in two seperate rooms!!”
This hotel is definitely the worst i have ever stayed in. We had bed bugs in the room, but only suspected it after the second night after noticing insect bites on my arm. Hoping it was anything but bed bugs, we moved on with our day. In the evening we checked the bed, sadly we found some bed bugs hiding in the mattress. We went and asked for a new room and got the only other available one, checked the bed and immediately found a bed bug crawling under the covers. With nowhere else to go, especially unsure if they had gotten in our clothes we just stayed for the final night, spending most of it boiling our clothes that had been in contact with the bed. (Which was an ordeal in itself because the power went out in our room constantly. The next morning we check out and ask for our Monet back since they couldnt even move us to a room without bedbugs. The staff got angry and told us it was our fault for not telling them sooner, even though we told them as soon as we found out. So they only reluctantly refunded us for the last night, since by their logic the bedbugs lyst have only appeared the day we actually saw them. We even had a video to prove it. This is just the worst of the long list of things wrong with this hotel. Everywhere was pretty dirty both in the room and the hallways. Musty odor in the room and mold in the walls. All electrician work is poorly done and wires are not even hidden away. The room had its own circuit breakers which was handy when the power went out multiple times a day. No 'do not disturb' or cleaning sign to hang on the door, so the cleaning people goes knocking on every door in the morning. Towels were Ragged and smelly. Fan in the room not working. No water pressure and the shower has no runoff into the drain, probably explains the mold. 0/10, even though its somewhat cheap, there are plenty of similar priced options in Da Nang. Dont make the same mistake we did.

I checked in to the Sea Wonder later on in the evening and the staff welcomed me from the taxi, even helping me figure out the extra charge on the fare (airport entrance fee) and get me a bit of a discount. I was very pleased with that, especially considering I couldn’t communicate with the driver. The hospitality and helpfulness of the staff continued throughout my stay. The hotel is a five-minute stroll to the nearest beach. The city center can be reached on foot (approx. 30-40 minutes) or is a short, inexpensive taxi ride. While the hotel restaurant offers food, beer and soft drinks 24 hours, there are plenty of open-air style seafood restaurants/bars within a kilometer if you want fresh seafood or just a bit of a change of pace. If I were someone who expected The Ritz Carlton for the price of Ritz crackers then I could surely find something to complain about. The elevator next to my room was a little noisy and the rooster down the road was my morning alarm but overall, I slept like a baby. I had to pinch myself each time I remembered I was paying about $70 total for five nights for a clean and spacious room, comfortable bed, with breakfast included! Staff and owners at the Sea Wonder do their best to ensure your stay is as enjoyable and interesting as possible. There are a variety of reasonably priced tours available. I went on three during my stay and had a great time thanks to Chau who did a wonderful job as my guide. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone who can appreciate that you get what you pay for – you’ll be hard pressed to get more bang for your buck anywhere. The kindest staff in Da Nang.”
We stayed in The Sea Wonder Hotel for 1 week. We had a fantastic time, largely due to the helpful staff, assisting us in anything they could. The hotel itself is brilliant value for money, our standard double room was really clean, a good size and spacious. You can rent motorbikes, scooters and bicycles from the hotel. The food was always really delicious and the menu was great. The location is perfect, 2 minute walk from the beautiful beach and a short drive to the city centre. Overall we have absolutely no complaints about this lovely little hotel. The staff really made us feel at home, we can't recommend it enough!

Great hotel in Danang”
After a very bad experience in another hotel we arrived in Sea Wonder Hotel and it was like an oasis in the dessert. They didn't have the double bed room that we booked so they directly upgraded us to a family room with sea view. The room was very nice and spacious and it was cleaned everyday. Breakfast was included and they have 5 menus to choose (European and Asian). Wifi worked well too. Very friendly staff, they recommended us several places where to eat in the city.

Help to fix my bike mirror.”
Overall the my room is big size with good AC and hot water, clean, and quiet. The breakfast is basic such as bread, egg, hot soup, salad and some other Vietnamese dishes good and plenty of foods. The best part, the receptionist guy is coming out to help while I have struggled to fix my mirror bike. Thanks you. I will come back next time to Da Nang.

Cheap And Cheerful”
I extended my initial booking and was happy to do so. Sea Wonder is a good, low budget, friendly hotel where the staff will ensure your stay is happy and comfortable. It is close to the beach but some distance from the city. There are some local restaurants close by but it is essentially in a quiet street. The hotel will organise motorbike rental, or anything for that matter. A half-day city tour is worthwhile and enjoyable. Decent breakfast is included, and other meals are available to order from a menu at any time. The delightful Ms Thuy will take your order, cook your meal, and deliver it to your table... all with a lovely smile. If there is a problem, the staff will attend to it. The manager (owner) lives on the premises and also offers friendly conversation. Most speak very good English. The rooms are big and airy and, most importantly, kept very clean. I think "cheap and cheerful" sums it up.

Tried to scam us, okay rooms, ok location ”
They tried to charge us 240000 (12 dollars) for two bus tickets that cost 15000 each (75 cents) then told us that we wouldn't be picked up from the hotel and had to pay another 100000 for a taxi. We immediately took our money back and went to research the price. He then came to us and offered us a private car for less money than the bus that just shows how much of a scam it was. Be careful of scams in da nang they will charge locals a fraction of the price you pay so don't back down. They were very pushy with tours and always asking us where we were going. Rooms were a good standard and great value for money. Reading other reviews scams are common here so just be careful but the actual hotel was fine

Budget hotel with great length of service”
We checked ourself into the Danang hotel (My Khe beach) after the bustling tourist life in Hoi An to just enjoy the seaside with peacefulness and quietness. Nearby there are plenty of great local food locations with local prices and not the hike up Hoi An prices. Seafood is frequent visited by locals only. The hotel is 15 min walk to the beach, there are enough local cafe joint to sit down like a local to watch the time pass. If you enjoy these kind of lifestyle, Danang is a place for you. A taxi trip to Danang will cost you USD3 per trip and to airport will be USD5 per trip.

Sea Wonder offers good value. Although, I booked a single room whose description says with a partial ocean view, there was only a view of the run down buildings across the street. So reception upgraded me to a really nice room for the same price. The area is a bit dead in February though.
