Excellent Modern”
The hotel is very modern, exceptionally clean and the staff were fantastic. We received an upgrade so were very happy with our room, I can highly recommend the Junior Suite. The view over the beach/bay was excellent from our 16th floor room. I loved having a bath in our room with bath salts provided. Swimming pool on 5th floor also overlooks the beach. Not many tourists in Danang so the pool area was quiet and some services like the rooftop bar, coffee shop maybe not always open as listed so check first if this is important. There are sauna and steamroom adjacent to pool. Gym and pool bar also. Buffet breakfast and service were both outstanding with some changes every day. By second morning staff already knew our coffee order! Had very noisy people in adjacent rooms on first night but staff were proactive in addressing this issue. Hotel is away from main tourist area but easy transport available. Secure parking for my motorcycle underneath. Only thing I saw which could be improved is that the curtains were not 'blackout'. Gets bright in the room early which is ok if you like an early start to the day. Air con, TV, bathroom facilities etc were all excellent.

Details Matter”
This was our second upscale hotel in Da Nang (Le Sands the other), and I only wish I could have stayed longer than one night. A beautiful combination of elegance and serenity. The staff was kind and attentive but not overbearing. The room was simple but refined, somewhat restrained in its luxuriousness, but with everything that you want and where you want it. Not flashy, just thoughtful; from the quality of the bath soaps to the addition of a fan in the WC. Most ‘open’ bathrooms drive me nuts, but this one struck the right balance of privacy and aesthetics. Only wish there were a few more obvious places to place our luggage. But overall, this was the best of the tenor so places I’ve stayed in the last six weeks across Vietnam.

I enjoyed the stay at Sel de Mer. Staffs were friendly and handy. Rooftop bar was amazing and I visited there every night. You can order off-menu cocktails. Breakfast buffet was standard and acceptable. There were rove beetles in my room and blanket. They can irritate your skin awfully if you touch them. There was a roach outside of the balcony as well but I guess it just randomly flew in. The only thing I dislike about my stay (not the hotel’s fault) is the restaurant on the other side of the street (I think it’s called Ca Voi park). During my 3 days here, that place had been playing REALLY LOUD music, holding events and team building with big volume on speakers and microphones, until like 11pm and it was annoying.

I booked an ocean view room, the room is great, very clean. Also, I got free upgrade to bigger room. I’m very happy with that. Staff is friendly. Overall is great, just 2 minor things: - Breakfast buffet does not have many options - Due to covid, the bar and restaurant are not available at the time.

Excellent hotel with the nicest staff!”
This has been one of the best stays I have had in Vietnam. I simply loved the way the staff were so attentive, they always greeted me whenever they saw me and were always willing to help and go the extra mile. They were better than most 5 star chain hotels staff and I never felt that they could do better. Special mention goes to Ms. Khanh at reception, who was very helpful right from check-in. The breakfast is great and has a very nice selection of western and local dishes. The local dishes also changed everyday. I enjoyed the pool and gym area too. The room was very clean with a nice balcony. Overall, I definitely recommend it and would like to be back.

We changed this hotel in Da Nang after an awful experience at a nearby hotel. Best decision we made. The view and hotel room were outstanding. Staff really helpful and cleaning staff also on the ball. Pool and spa services were also fantastic. The standout in our stay here though was the food. The range and quality of the breakfast was great with many western and Asian options to try. We ended up eating lunch here 3 days of our trip it was that good. It does cost a little more than other Da Nang hotels - but you get what you pay for. Really enjoyed our stay!

Lost my pram in a restaurant. The whole hotel led by manager Tuan helped me to locate it by calling the restaurant. Superb help. Plus all their staff have good English so it makes a breeze to travel. My room facing the sea was gorgeous!

Sel De Mer had the best facilities and most helpful staff. Had a 6am flight and the staff helped us with breakfast boxes. The hotel has magnificent views and direct access to the beach. A great choice!

It's just right on the beach side. The hotel room is clean and the service is awesome! the music next door was too loud at the first night we stay. We thought that was from the restaurant cross street and asked the hotel a favor to have them turn the volume down. It failed but the staff went to our table the next day to say sorry again while eating breakfast. Great hotel with good ocean view!

New hotel, very good service and very helpful. Room is big, clean, new. Excellent location which is very close to beach and next to Be Man (one of the most famous seafood restaurant in Da Nang) which I tried 4 times during my stay. Pool is great, gym, sauna is new and nice. Yet, there is a little reconstruction work in my stay (as my stay is only 2 weeks after their opening), which creates some noise.
