Have stayed at this property in the past and have always had a very comfortable stay. The response to inquiries is prompt and the service at the front desk is cordial and polite. Of recent, stayed overnight on my birthday and one of the staff thoughtfully prepared things on my behalf to provide a very nice birthday celebration. The small kindnesses are very much appreciated.

Perfect hotel for a business traveler who'd like to explore some tourist sites too”
This hotel is very convenient for guests who have conferences or business matters to attend to in the nearby Osaka University, which is a station or two away from the hotel by monorail. The monorail station itself is also very near and just a 5-minute walk. There's a mall nearby with lots of convenience stores, restaurants, shops and supermarkets to do your shopping. In the mall, there's also a subway station that connects you the more touristy places if you want to explore the city after work. I wasn't able to try the breakfast or the other amenities (such as the pool etc) but we didn't hear any complaints from the other guests we met. The room we were placed in looked a bit old but it was clean and spacious enough (bigger than your usual Japanese hotel room). It had a dehumidifier, kettle, TV, complimentary coffee, etc. We had issues with the toilet malfunctioning but the staff was quick to address our concerns. Just one thing to take note of is that the sizes of their hotel rooms can vary. One of our friends who also stayed in the same hotel was placed in the wing facing the pool and said that his room was a bit smaller than ours. Overall though, I liked how quaint the hotel was and how warm and friendly the staff was. It's a bit out of the way from the major tourist areas but, its proximity to the different transport hubs make up for it being a bit out of the way. I'd stay here again on my next visit.

Clean hotel, attentive staff, convenient location ”
Was there for 3 days for business. The hotel is in the north end of Osaka so it's a bit far off from the city center. I was there because I was visiting Osaka University, in which case it is about the only reasonable option in the north. Relative to other hotels in the pricey city like Osaka, Senri Hankyu had affordable rooms. They are also clean and reasonably spacious. The hotel is close to Senrichuo subway station and monorail station, and many restaurants in the Senrichuo area. The staff were also helpful and attentive.

Comfortable but disppointing”
Pleasant but dissappointing. Rooms were comfrotable but it was not a family oriented hotel. Website said there was parking but we had to pay! We chose the hotel because it had a pool. You have to pay to use the pool! And the pool nice but was open only until 4pm - we could only use it 1 hour for 25 dollars!! Restaurants were way out of our price range. Not recommended for the family on a budget. The hotel focused on hosting weddings and night entertainment.

Larger and better rooms than I expected ”
I've been staying in quite modest places in Japan to save money so when I arrived at this hotel, I was surprised by how nice the rooms were. I needed to visit Osaka University so it was very conveniently located for this purpose.

This hotel is quiet near to the subway, just walk around 10 mins can arrive, but the location is not at the centre of Osaka. The staff very nice, and room is clean with quiet atmosphere. It is recommended to those who come to visit in Osaka.

We stayed there in order to attend the wedding party which was held the next day. Because the room charge did not include breakfast, we went to the cafe to enjoy morning buffet and paid. Actually morning buffet is not so expensive, comparing with that of other hotels, but i think its variety of food is not so wide, i.e., not so various choice.... that's why will not recommend this hotel to my foreign friends. It can be said this hotel is very local and Japanese domestic.

OK hotel but in need of makeover”
This hotel has the basics but is pretty old and a bit dingy. It needs an update badly. We stayed here as it was the only option for us. We were visiting relatives nearby and wanted to be close to the shops for meals. Air-con is not controllable in the room except for low, medium, high and it was set too warm to be able to sleep under the quilt at night. We had to take the quilt out of the cover and use that as a sheet.
