I stay at so many guesthouses before in Korea but this is my first time write a review because the guesthouse is really awesome. First and I think is most important, the guesthouse is super clean. The host is seriously very friendly and helpful.The location is near to Seongsan Ilchulbong even Udo, I walk from the guesthouse to the ferry terminal to Udo, just take less then 20 mins. Great place for sunrise”
The guesthouse is 5 mins by walk to the sunrise peak. It is excellent for the person who wish to stay by the beach or to see the sunrise in the morning. The guesthouse is very clean and the facilities are in their best conditions. The staff is very helpful. The only issues for me is that they held the party during the night I arrived. It lasted until 10.30 p.m. and I found it very disturbing for a traveler who is oblige to wake up early for the sunrise.

Good location, can go Seongsan and Udo ferry terminal on foot Nice spacious room with balcony Simple breakfast such as toast, egg and corn flake only 2 toilets and 2 bathrooms (1 for male and 1 for female) available for the whole floor. And there is no privacy for the bathroom, you might have to share with other people

We like our rooms, its bigger than we expected since we get it at lower price.. u can find many seafood restaurant surrounding the area, just walk around the places.. for muslim, no worries, there is a restaurant provided only seafood opposite the road..

Clean and Spacious room. I was assigned at a room w a cable TV and a balcony w a sea view. All rooms have sea view. The hospitality of the owner Mr Kumho is remarkable. And the staff are warm and nice, it was a pleasant experience. Host prepared lunch for me for free as welcome for me. It was typhoon when I was there but it's alright as I was enjoying the comfy bed I just felt so lazy anyway as I have a good sleep in the room. Will reccomendnto friends. ✌️🇰🇷

Discriminate against foreigner ”
This guest house has it's great location. If you plan to wake up early to see sunrise at Ilchunborng it was only 5 minutes walking distance to the entrance. However the staff was not friendly and discriminate against foreigner. I have never ever been to a guesthouse that required us to check out after staying one night (we booked for two nights) and check in again following their check in time at 4pm. That day was a windy and rainy day we couldn't go out so we decided to stay in guesthouse but we were asked to leave the room (so call check out) and wait for the check in time. And the staff was rude in the way that she don't even knock the door before she came into the room. And the guesthouse has a party on the night itself but she don't even notified us instead we were invited by other Korean guests to join the party. Overall there's alot other guesthouse in the area, I wouldn't recommend this guesthouse.

Location is great and easy to find! The staff is Super welcoming, kind, helpful! Rooms are spacious, clean and with every thing you could need. I was invited to eat at a barbecue in the evening it was delicious and great atmosphere! Thank you so much!

I must thank the owner for offering to give me a lift. They also offer very generous breakfast. They don't speak good English but they do try hard and make my stay very pleasant. If possible, to have the name in English bigger and lit up after dark. I couldn't find it until I used the google map. To change clean sheets for new guests but their new staff didn't do so. To have a bath mat outside the shower. The changing area got so wet when guests got out from the shower. Would be nice to have a spare roll in each toilet or have the staff to check before going to bed. I got stuck in the middle of the night!

Room was double booked ”
Our room was double booked so we ended up having to switch rooms from double with private bathroom to bunk bed with shared bathroom. The owner was apologetic but did not offer any refund. Our 2 night stay was split between 2 rooms which also meant we were effectively checked out early on the full day interupting our sleep after we'd got up early to see sunrise on the mountain and returned to rest after breakfast. The rooms were clean and came with breakfast but could be noisy at night if other guests were using the stairs. An unfortunate stay for us whereas the room we originally booked looked much nicer.

There is only one foreigner which is me here. It is great to have free meat party with koreans. It was great to meet them. Location near 성산일출봉 and 우도포항. The staffs and the owner were very friendly. The breakfast provided cereal, toast and fried egg.

Nice place in Seongsan”
Room was spacious and warm, plenty of space to place luggage, but there are no lockers and no door lock to the room. Then again, perhaps there is not much call for that there? Bed is the usual Asian kind, a bit on the harder side. Breakfast is a DIY affair. The owner provided dinner for us guests downstairs, which was a nice surprise. Great location if you are planning to see the sunrise on/around Ilchulbong! And generally a nice village to spend a night in.
